(she/her)
Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Kentucky. I graduated with my Masters in 2015 and have been practicing as a Certified Social Worker for the last ten years, before obtaining my independent practitioner license. I help adults dealing with everyday stress (and not-everyday-stress) learn ways to manage the things standing in the way of them reaching their goals.
Our first session together will be spent getting to know more about you and your specific needs, strengths, and goals. We will also cover next steps and what treatment will look like moving forward.
I have worked with individuals across the lifespan and in all kinds of settings. With this experience, I take pride in my approach to making therapy not "feel" like therapy! You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment. I do my best to help my clients feel cared for and, most importantly, heard!
I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated and ready to put their skills to the test. My clients often find themselves entering therapy with a set of coping skills that are not necessarily tailored to their individual needs. They are open to learning and trying new strategies to find the best fit for their needs!

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Utilizing CBT as a primary treatment method allows me to assess the client's current functioning and gauge their ability to change over time. CBT also allows for a very casual approach to treatment that makes the client more comfortable and willing to engage in identifying strategies to reframe the way they see the world and their situation.
