I am a Louisville native and a University of Louisville Alumni. My bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Louisville in 2017. Then, I received my masters degree in 2020 from Lindsey Wilson College in Human Development, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently a PhD-ABD doctoral student at Capella University in Counselor Education and Supervision. I enjoy helping my clients identify the barriers in their journey to becoming their ideal selves. Then, assisting them with overcoming those barriers in most areas of their lives. Counseling can be rewarding, and I am excited to be a part of my client's journey.
I prioritize building strong therapeutic rapport through trust, empathy, and open communication. This foundation supports a collaborative, client-centered approach to treatment planning, focusing on tailored goals that promote growth and lasting progress.
The wellness model includes working with the mind, body, and spirit. I incorporate each of these in my theoretical intervention. I am trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma-informed care.
I am dedicated to working with adult clients who are ready and willing to embrace personal growth and development. With a compassionate and client-centered approach, I strive to create a supportive environment that fosters self-awareness, resilience, and positive change. My goal is to empower clients to overcome challenges, unlock their potential, and achieve meaningful progress in their lives.

Ms. January is an amazing therapist who not only teaches me great strategies to help with my anxiety, but gives me great resources to read over to help me with my goals as well as exercises. Anyone needing a great therapist should look her up. She was exceptional in helping me deal with my grief after losing my father and for that, I owe her so much. She’s a blessing to anyone that becomes her client.
