Hi! I am a licensed clinical social worker. I graduated in May 2020 with my Masters in Social Work from the University of Kentucky and have been practicing for 5 years. I am certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy through PCIT International. I help caregivers and their children improve their bond and decrease behavior issues through Parent ChIld Interaction Therapy.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we’ll begin with brief introductions, and I’ll ask you some questions about yourself and your child. I will complete a behavior inventory with you. We will also complete a play observation.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, I employ empathy, adaptability and flexibility, consistency, clear communication, and positive reinforcement skills to build a trusting relationship with parents and equip them with skills to facilitate a secure parent-child bond and decrease behavior issues.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with parents and child(ren). Most children I work with are in the 2-6 age range. The parents I work with are seeking to improve their bond with their child and typically reduce behavior issues.
