Hi I'm Leo I'm a non binary transgender man. I have my master’s degree in social work from the University of Louisville and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social worker in Indiana and Kentucky. My professional background has been working with the University of Louisville as a therapist at the Trager Institute Optimal Aging Clinic. While working at University of Louisville Trager Institute, I gained experience in treatment areas such as conversion disorders/PNES, PTSD/Trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, transgender issues, gender dysphoria and LGBTQ+ issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first session with me will be spent learning about what brings you to this journey of therapy and identifing symptoms experenced, history, relationshp building, trust and a plan for where you would like to begin this journey to your new you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel the greatest strengths I have as a provider are my experences of having worked with other clients to help guide them on their journeys through traumatic experences of the past. I also have personal experence with trauma, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence and being transgender. I have found that very often being able to relate through having personally experenced these is helpful in building client therapist relationship and guidance to growth.
