(she/her)
I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years and have been a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) for 17 years. I earned my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College in 2004. My primary specialty is working with adults who are experiencing life transitions and the challenges that often accompany change. I also provide support for individuals struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, and other emotional difficulties that may arise from life’s stressors. I am committed to creating a warm, compassionate, and supportive environment where clients feel safe exploring their concerns, developing coping skills, and working toward meaningful personal growth and healing.
During our initial session, I will take time to get to know you and gain a better understanding of what has led you to seek additional support at this time. We will review your intake information, discuss any previous counseling or therapy experiences, and explore your goals for treatment. We will also talk about what to expect from the therapy process, review informed consent, and answer any questions you may have to help ensure you feel comfortable and informed as we begin working together.
Drawing on years of experience in the mental health field, I work closely with clients to understand their individual needs, build on their strengths, and support them in reaching their goals.
I specialize in working with adults, particularly young adults, who are navigating life transitions, stress, and other personal challenges. My approach is centered on helping clients develop effective coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and build confidence in their ability to manage life's difficulties. I am committed to creating a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we work toward meaningful goals that promote personal growth, emotional well-being, and lasting positive change.
