After graduating university, I taught English in Japan and Vietnam for five years. I developed an empathetic patience and ability to work with people from different backgrounds than myself by living in foreign countries where I had no connection. Upon my return to the United States, I began applying my patience and people skills by working in the mental health field for the past ten years until becoming licensed as a therapist.
As a licensed psychotherapist in California, I have been working in the field for over 25 years. I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage Family Therapy. I am here to empower both women and men who struggle with anxiety, trauma, grief, and depression. I have also incorporated the use of journaling, art, and sandtray therapy into my practice.

Hi There! I'm Rachel. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where we can explore your experiences together with honesty, curiosity, and compassion. I recognize that every person is unique, and I tailor my approach to fit each client's individual needs. Whether you're navigating a difficult season of life, feeling stuck in old patterns, or simply wanting a deeper understanding of yourself, I strive to help you feel supported while working toward meaningful and lasting growth.
Outside of the therapy room, I love getting lost in a good book, spending time outdoors with friends, and baking. These activities help me stay grounded and connected to the things that bring joy and balance into my life.
Hello! I'm Alyssa and I'm so excited to be (potentially) working with you! I have always enjoyed helping others so I figured why not make a career out of it? I got my Bachelors in Psychology at Vanguard University and my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University. I've been working in a mental health center for the last 7 years and have been seeing individual clients for 4 years. I'm looking forward to getting to know you!
I work primarily with those struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, depression, and trauma.
I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the past 16 years, and I truly love what I do. I approach every client with empathy, compassion, acceptance, and without judgment, regardless of what brings them to therapy.
If this is your first experience with therapy, my goal is to make the process feel comfortable and approachable. Therapy begins with a conversation with someone who knows how to listen, ask meaningful questions, and understand what you are experiencing. I work to create a safe space where you can talk openly about anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, or experiences that may be difficult to put into words.
My clinical perspective has been shaped by working across multiple levels of mental health care, including state psychiatric hospitals, correctional and forensic settings, emergency mental health services, adult parole operations, and substance use treatment programs. I have worked extensively with individuals experiencing severe mental illness, substance use disorders, trauma, and complex emotional and behavioral concerns. These experiences taught me that effective treatment requires both compassion and clinical precision.
Today, I primarily work with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, attachment wounds, and major life transitions. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, insight-oriented therapy, and attachment-based strategies.
As an EMDRIA-certified EMDR therapist, I have specialized training in helping clients process distressing experiences that continue to affect their emotions, beliefs, relationships, and behaviors.
My style is calm, supportive, and direct. My role is not simply to listen, but to help you understand patterns, regulate difficult emotions, improve communication, and develop practical tools for change. Together, we establish clear goals and work toward meaningful, measurable progress that extends beyond the therapy room.
I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) offering a warm, person-centered, trauma-informed, and attachment-based approach. I graduated from Cal State Bakersfield with a MS in Counseling Psychology. My experience includes working with individuals seeking support for anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and improving confidence and self esteem. My style is compassionate, curious, and non-judgmental. I aim to create a safe space to explore root issues, ease shame, and help you feel more understood, grounded, and connected.
Hello and Welcome! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I have received my Masters and Doctorate from California School of Professional Psychology. I help adults and children struggling with mental health concerns and addictions to improve various aspects of their life, such as interpersonal relationships, and employment. I offer a safe, non-judgemental environment where a person can be themself.
Hi! I'm a licensed Clinical Psychologist. I offer individual therapy via telehealth to adults in California. I most often work with those experiencing narcissistic abuse, neurodivergence such as ADHD and autism, and alcohol abuse & addictions. I have been working in the mental health field since 2008, as a therapist since 2011, and I've been in private practice since 2019. My background and training is in child & adolescent psychology, forensic psychology, psychological testing, and substance abuse treatment. Since then, I've focused the work in my private practice to individual adults.
I am a highly accomplished Licensed, Marriage, and Family Therapist with over 28 years of experience in managing challenging behaviors and helping individuals with ongoing significant social/emotional skill deficits, and/or mental health needs. Along with working with youth from many cultures and economic backgrounds, I also have over 20 years’ experience supervising and managing adults in the education field. My years of experience working for school districts, private practice settings, group homes and currently as a mental health administrator provide clients with a clinician who has a broad range of experience.
I’m a Licensed Clinical psychologist dedicated to helping you create real, lasting change by tapping into your inner motivation and embracing your true personality, without the need to mask who you are. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the APA-accredited California School of Professional Psychology, with a focus on Clinical Multicultural Community Psychology. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in psychological assessment.
I am a licensed therapist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and performance-related challenges. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where clients feel understood and empowered to work through internal barriers, strengthen emotional resilience, and build lasting well-being. As a proud veteran of the United States Coast Guard, a competitive surfer, and a father to two incredible daughters, my life experiences have deeply shaped my perspective and clinical approach. The discipline, adaptability, and presence I developed through military service and years in the water inform my work, particularly with veterans, athletes, and high-performing individuals facing pressure or transition. Whether you are seeking support during a difficult season or striving for personal growth, I bring authenticity, steadiness, and a genuine commitment to helping you move forward with clarity and confidence.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and families. I began my work in community-based public mental health, serving underserved populations, and that foundation continues to shape how I show up today—with care, respect, and a real understanding of life’s complexities. My background includes working with severe mental illness, including schizophrenia spectrum disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and complex trauma, so I’m comfortable supporting both early or emerging concerns and ongoing mental health conditions. I’ve worked extensively with low-income communities, immigrants, and individuals from diverse cultural and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds. I also have a strong background working with mothers, particularly single mothers, who are navigating their own mental health while supporting children or adult children with their own challenges. My approach is collaborative and strength-based—I focus on helping you build on what’s already working while developing practical tools you can use in your daily life. I aim to create a space that is calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental, where you can show up as you are, speak openly, and process what you’re going through while also building practical tools to better navigate everyday life.
Welcome, I am Feven!
Do you feel pulled in a million directions, unable to fit it all in? Are you struggling to keep up with your relationships, work and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself? I help individuals manage anxiety, depression and burnout. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self approach; addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit.
I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the different challenges they face and build coping skills to create more fulfilling and holistic life experiences. From my journey, I can personally attest to the power of support, in its many forms. This support goes beyond clients I service but also to their families and communities. I believe that mental wellness isn’t just individualistic; but includes the ecosystem surrounding the person. My praxis acknowledges and aims to support the village needed by all.
I’m also passionate about the transformative impact of safe and brave spaces for those who often experience exclusion. My career has afforded me opportunities to build trust with LGBTQ+, Black, Indigenous, Latina/o/x, and Refugee communities across the nation. It is a personal privilege to center wellness and holistic care for all as ‘self-care is a radical form of resistance.’
Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, trauma, PTSD, self-acceptance, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion, empathy and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back.
Let's work together!
I am a wife of 4 decades, a mother of three adults, and a grandmother. Along with practicing psychotherapy, I have also spent numerous years as a client in psychotherapy.
Using a psychodynamic framework, I incorporate cognitive concepts within a framework of self-compassion to assist clients in telling their story, recognizing their strengths, and identifying what they need to heal.

As a licensed professional clinical counselor and board certified somatic psychotherapist, I will address your concerns with an integrated approach that honors the sacredness of your body, mind & spirit. The body is the carrier of all of our lived experiences, and there is so much wisdom within each of us.
I bring a unique perspective of nervous system functioning through Chi for Two® a mindful embodiment method. Scientist Stephen Porges created polyvagal theory. Polyvagal theory helps us recognize anxiety and depression as symptoms of trauma.
When we experience trauma, our bodies create nervous system patterning that gets passed down over generations. When our ancestors experienced trauma, their bodies created nervous system patterning that got passed down to us.
Chi for Two partner practices help us heal multi-generational trauma.
I am interested in tapping into the internal resources you already possess, while providing you with accessible skills to support your journey towards having a life worth living become a reality.
I offer support to survivors of traumatic experiences, individuals who have experienced a loss or separation from a loved one, as well as those suffering from depression and anxiety. Emotional pain is as common as physical pain, and can be truly agonizing. I have years of experience in the areas of medical social work, grief and loss, trauma, depression and anxiety.
I am constantly amazed by the human spirit and believe firmly that everyone has an ability to heal. Allow me the privilege of being part of your journey.

I am a bilingual and bicultural Vietnamese American Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am an immigrant who have lived, studied and worked in the US since 2003. I have practiced mental health counseling since 2010. I am married and have a grown daughter who has "flown away to be free." Outside of work, I love going fishing whenever I can and taking long walks daily.
My name is Charlie, I am a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience in the mental health field in varying settings and diverse populations. I am committed to helping folks find the healing they need. Over the last 11 years, I've been shaped by my work in residential treatment, crisis intervention, outpatient clinics, community-based and school-based mental health. In our time together, I will use an eclectic approach and draw on multiple theories and modalities to suit your needs.
I am a licensed psychologist with experience across private practice, community mental‑health settings, and correctional settings. My clinical work focuses on helping patients understand the bidirectional connection between thoughts, emotions, and physical health. I provide structured and flexible, evidence‑based therapy informed by CBT, DBT, and EMDR, behavioral health, and contemporary clinical psychology.
My approach is direct and yet compassionate, collaborative and client-focused, and centered on measurable change. I help patients identify behavioral patterns, challenge distorted thinking, strengthen emotional regulation, understand the duality of the world (the tension of the opposites and how to find the fine balance in it), and build practical skills that support long‑term stability. I also integrate psychoeducation on the mind–body relationship, health behaviors, and the impact of chronic stress on psychological functioning. Evolutionary psychology and metaphors are a big part of my psycho-education as well.
I work with adults 18 to 64 years old, including individuals navigating medical illness, work‑related stress, family conflict, identity development, life and career transitions, lifestyle integration in California, and trauma histories. I also have specialized experience working with personality disorders and individuals facing complex psychosocial stressors.
As a naturalized, proud citizen of this country, I bring a unique perspective to therapy based on my life experiences, my work as a multicultural mental health professional, and my recognition not to take the freedom and opportunities we have in our country for granted.
I’m constantly working to expand my knowledge within my scope of practice. Currently, I’m completing a post‑graduate master’s degree in clinical psychopharmacology in order to integrate medical and psychological perspectives more comprehensively. This training helps me better recognize how medical and mental‑health conditions influence one another—connections that are often overlooked.
I also speak and provide therapy in Armenian and Russian.

Maria Mendez Perez is a bilingual first-generation Latina therapist who is passionate about helping adults who are experiencing overwhelming emotions due to unresolved trauma. The majority of her practice focuses on managing symptoms of depression and anxiety, and learning skills to improve emotion regulation. In my free time I love spending time with my family. When I need some alone time I spend time with our dog, read a book, or listen to a podcast, probably something on mental health.
If you've been feeling overwhelmed lately, you're not alone. Many people reach a point where stress, anxiety, or relationship challenges start affecting their daily life. I believe that we all deserve a safe space to process our experiences, and my primary goal is to provide you that space. I provide a person-centered approach that emphasizes helping my clients build self-compassion, as I believe that it is only from a place of self-compassion that we can feel grounded within ourselves enough to develop a compassionate relationship with others around us. Hola! I go by Ruth! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). For me, therapy is a place where you can be you, be free of judgment, and, most importantly, connect and feel understood with whatever struggles are taking place. My communication style is warm and encouraging. Creating a safe space and an accommodating environment in sessions is always my priority.
I feel very fortunate to have grown up in the Bay Area, but never truly appreciated it until I left and came back. I attended high school in Marin at the Branson School in Ross. After High School I left for Wheaton College in Massachusetts where I earned a B.A. in Psychology. I moved to Florida where I received my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida. Prior to earning my Masters in Psychology I spent a number of years working in child and adolescent residential treatment centers in both San Francisco and Orlando, Florida. It was at this time that I fell in love with working with adolescents, adults, and their families. After graduate school, I found myself working for, and soon thereafter managing, an inpatient treatment program for adolescents who had experienced severe trauma.
I returned to California for good in 2011 where I started working as the Lead Therapist for the Adolescent Outpatient Program at Fremont Hospital. I opened a part time private practice in 2012 and transitioned to a full time practice in San Francisco in early 2013.

Originally from the East Coast, I completed both my internship and postdoctoral training in California and have proudly called it home ever since. I feel fortunate to live and work in a community where I can do meaningful work helping others every day.
This version reads naturally for a professional website, highlights your expertise in CBT-I, and conveys warmth without sounding overly formal. If your audience is primarily veterans or patients in a medical setting, I can also make it feel a bit more approachable and relatable.

I graduated from California State Fullerton and soon began working with foster youth in group home facilities for 8 years while working in nonprofit community outpatient clinics, which allowed me to better understand the needs of families and children from various cultures and back grounds. I then earned a Masters degree (MA) in 2011 from National University, feeling the need to increase my knowledge and ability to serve individuals and families, which began my journey in marriage and family therapy. Later I was able to receive additional training in Applied Behavior Analysis, allowing me to work with children on the autism spectrum and with other disabilities, in various school districts.

I suffer from PTSD and my journey into therapy began with years of denial. As all heroes do I refused the call. Then I started helping others - the immigrant, the unhoused, the addicted - and I saw the beauty of human resilience. I discovered the capacity for compassion, healing, and evolution in others as well as myself. I fully believe therapy has the power to not only help people survive but to thrive.

HI! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I received my Masters in Social Work from CSU Sacramento in 2010. I have been licensed since 2014. I assist my clients in seeing areas of opportunity for growth and healing. Together we develop goals and solutions to help you live your best life. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey.
Being capable does not mean you are not struggling. You may be meeting responsibilities while privately managing anxiety, trauma, relationship pain, or emotional exhaustion. Perhaps symptoms are disrupting your work or daily life, and you are wondering whether further assessment would help.
I bring more than 15 years of clinical experience, a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and a Master’s in Forensic Psychology to my work as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I hold advanced certification in complex trauma (CCTP-II), DBT certification, and domestic violence certification, and I am EMDR trained. My background also includes specialized training and clinical work in inpatient and outpatient eating disorder treatment. I provide care in English and Spanish.
I help clients address trauma, anxiety and panic, OCD, depression, eating disorders, and relationship betrayal. Together, we connect present challenges with the patterns behind them, practice skills you can use outside therapy, and make room for difficult conversations without judgment. When appropriate, we explore whether additional assessment or referrals would support your care.
My work also includes emotional support through separation and divorce, and helping families navigate conflict, strengthen communication, and explore reconnection when it is safe and appropriate. Each person’s readiness and boundaries guide this process. Through women’s wellness coaching, I help clients manage stress, build sustainable habits, and navigate life transitions with greater confidence.
Across these services, my focus is on helping you strengthen boundaries, rebuild self-trust, and move forward with greater clarity.
You do not have to keep proving you can handle everything before your needs matter.
