I am the kind of clinician who will utilize real-life references and examples of how the interventions work, I am transparent, and nonjudgmental and will share with you the exact intent of my interventions. I have been working with children, adults couples and families throughout my career, I've been practicing for 26 years. I tailor my interventions to clients' expressed needs and goals collaboratively as I believe the client is the expert of their own lives, and my job is to help reframe and redirect self-awareness to ones existing strengths and to build upon them.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Open relaxed curious dialogue about your symptoms and goals for treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

empathy relatability, humor, outside the box thinking, client-focused, strength based perspective.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to someone who is interested in doing what is necessary for them to get out of their own way, which can often times feel uncomfortable. If you are up to the challenge you may find what you're looking for. If you are uncomfortable with the work, I will work with you until you're comfortable. I'll meet you where you are.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

In an effort to redirect client to personal capacities in times of distress, I collaborate with client on identifying the skills they already have and help them utilize them in circumstances when they need additional self reliance and trust.
