New to Grow
I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up honestly without feeling judged, pressured, or like you have to have everything figured out first. I work with adults who are trying to manage the emotional weight of everyday life while also making sense of patterns, experiences, or stressors that may be keeping them stuck. My goal is to help clients feel more grounded, self-aware, and confident in their ability to navigate challenges both inside and outside of therapy.
During the first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, any current challenges you may be experiencing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I also take time to learn about your background, coping patterns, strengths, and goals so we can begin building a treatment approach that feels supportive and tailored to your needs. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and not judged.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to balance warmth, empathy, and authenticity with practical guidance and clinical insight. I have experience working with individuals facing high levels of stress, emotional dysregulation, trauma, crisis situations, and major life transitions, which allows me to remain calm, grounded, and supportive even during difficult conversations. I take an active and supportive approach to therapy, helping clients increase self-awareness, recognize unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping and responding to stress. I strive to be genuine, approachable, and easy to talk to while also being engaged, honest, and intentional in sessions.
I work best with adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, anxious, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel helpful. Many of my clients are balancing high levels of stress while trying to manage relationships, work, family responsibilities, life transitions, or past experiences that continue to impact their emotional well-being. I especially enjoy working with clients who are motivated for change, want a supportive, non judgemental, but direct therapeutic approach, and are looking to better understand themselves while building healthier coping skills and greater emotional balance.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients better understand patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, stress, burnout, or feeling emotionally stuck. Together we work on developing practical tools to manage overwhelming thoughts, improve coping skills, and create healthier ways of responding to difficult situations.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) approach to help clients identify strengths, recognize patterns that are already working, and move toward meaningful, realistic change. Rather than focusing only on problems, we work together to clarify your desired outcomes, build on existing coping skills, and develop practical steps that support progress in daily life. This approach helps clients feel more empowered, hopeful, and confident in their ability to navigate challenges.
Strength-Based
I use a strength-based approach that helps clients recognize their resilience, build on existing strengths, and develop greater confidence in their ability to navigate challenges. Therapy focuses not only on reducing distress, but also on identifying personal growth, improving self-awareness, and creating meaningful, sustainable change.
Trauma Informed Care
I take a trauma-informed approach to therapy, recognizing that past experiences can shape the way we cope with stress, relationships, emotions, and daily life. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered while working toward healing and meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable for them.
