Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, facing relationship challenges, stuck in cycles of anxiety or depression, or caught in negative patterns, support is here. Seeking therapy can feel intimidating, but it’s a brave and important step toward change that can lead to better life satisfaction. Recognizing you can’t keep doing the same thing over and over is admirable, and having a dedicated support person can help you tap into your inner strengths. Together, we’ll explore new ways to navigate challenges and create positive outcomes. We all carry the answers within us—sometimes it just takes a fresh perspective to see them clearly. Let this be the moment you choose the road to happiness. My approach is rooted in a CBT framework but is always guided by your personality and needs. You’ll learn tools and techniques tailored to you and your stage of change. With 17 years of experience, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can share openly, receive thoughtful feedback (and sometimes homework!), and move past obstacles. In our sessions, you can expect warmth, compassion, and evidence-based strategies to help you break free from the habits holding you back. Sensibility, empathy, and a touch of humor are among my clinical strengths. Working collaboratively, we’ll uncover what’s blocking your progress and build a path toward positive, lasting change. It would be my honor to support your journey.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll go over your intake forms, confirm your consent for services, and talk about your goals for therapy. This is more of a broad overview to help me get to know you and your background, while also focusing on the present by identifying current goals. We’ll also cover the basics, like expectations, risks, and benefits of therapy, so we’re on the same page. Questions and feedback are always welcome, both now and anytime moving forward.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I aim to help people reduce negative emotions and boost positive interactions by meeting clients where they are. When we work to remove certain thoughts, feelings, behaviors, we’ll replace them with more functional and healthy ones. I believe you are the master of your own future, and together we’ll build on the strengths you already have. I use evidence-based interventions and integrate them into natural conversations.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I would love to work with you if you are interested in improving your life's satisfaction and are ready to start this journey together! It helps us both if you are willing to lower those defenses that have protected you and become vulnerable with me so that we can get to the root causes of issues that have negatively impacted you over time.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I teach how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected and how to break the cycle using emotional identification; thought pattern influences and thought-stopping; as well as behavioral changes to help client improve situations.
