Hi, I am a licensed clinical social worker in northern California. My primary background experience is in helping clients to regain/increase control over their mental health, via developing increased insight/understanding of symptoms, identifying and utilizing coping skills, developing positive support systems, and increasing ability to problem-solve/navigate challenges.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting adults navigating challenges related to anxiety, life transitions, depression, anger management, relational conflicts, work-life balance, addiction, grief and loss, low self-esteem, and issues related to gender and sexual orientation. My training is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which enhances clients' awareness of the interplay between thoughts, behaviors, and emotions. My overall approach is client-centered and collaborative, with an ongoing effort to tailor each session to each client's specific and unique needs. I’m here to provide a safe and supportive environment where my clients can be their true selves.
I’m a therapist who finds deep meaning in supporting adults, especially those navigating neurodivergence and trauma, who are working to reconnect with themselves and restore emotional and relational balance. Many of my clients experience distress related to masking, sensory sensitivity, executive dysfunction, and feeling unseen in environments that weren’t designed with their neurotype or lived experiences in mind. Others carry the weight of unresolved trauma, grief, or emotional overwhelm that continues to shape how they relate to themselves and others.
My approach blends evidence-based practices with creative, individualized strategies that honor your unique story, values, and goals. Together, we’ll explore the emotional patterns and internal narratives that may be keeping you stuck. I help clients uncover buried emotions, shift unhelpful thought habits, and build new ways of relating to themselves and the world around them.
Whether you're navigating burnout, trauma recovery, identity exploration, or relational challenges, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can show up as you are. We’ll work toward reducing self-criticism, improving emotional regulation, and strengthening communication, so you can feel more aligned, empowered, and connected in all areas of life.
Currently accepting adult individual session appointments.

For more than twenty‐five years, I’ve helped adults move through mid‐life challenges—whether related to depression, anxiety, relationship stress and breakups, or the natural shifts that come with aging. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, I will help you create meaningful, lasting change. In our work, we may focus on strengthening distress tolerance, improving emotional regulation, enhancing interpersonal effectiveness, and reconnecting with what matters most to you. You’ll leave sessions with insight, direction, and strategies you can use right away—not just talk.
I'm solution‑focused, goal‑oriented, compassionate, and client‑centered. I work collaboratively to identify practical steps forward so we don’t stay stuck in the problem itself. Together, we’ll clarify what’s getting in the way and build tools that help you feel more grounded, capable and aligned with your values.
By focusing on the skills of distress tolerance, emotional regulation, mindfulness and interpersonal effectiveness, we can begin to feel more in control of our day to day responses to stressors. I provide sessions geared towards formulating, motivating, achieving, and sustaining desired behavioral change. It helps you get "unstuck" and back in control!
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is seeing clients set meaningful, value-driven goals and achieving them. That's why I partner with you to ensure you are empowered to reach your full potential. As you work through life's transitions, I will be there to guide, encourage, and challenge you to push past obstacles and create the life you want.

My name is Feji, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in working with adults struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, mood disorders, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach integrates Psychodynamic Theory, Internal Family Systems, Attachment Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and trauma informed modalities.
My goal is to help clients uncover the root of their internal conflicts. I also guide clients in developing a deeper awareness of how trauma could manifest in their bodies. I often say that our bodies are wise, they consistently signal when unresolved emotions and inner conflicts are left unaddressed. Just as we tend to our physical health, it’s vital that we nurture our internal world with the same care and intention.
I believe deeply in the power of connection, healing, and human resilience. I’ve spent over 20 years walking alongside children, adults, and families through some of life’s hardest seasons. My practice is built on compassion, honesty, and the belief that healing happens when we feel truly seen and supported.
What drives me most is the belief that when people feel truly seen, supported, and valued, meaningful change becomes possible. I’ve witnessed incredible strength in the face of hardship—and I’m continually inspired by the courage it takes to show up and do the work. This field allows me to combine compassion with purpose, evidence-based care with intuition, and clinical skill with humanity. It’s sacred work, and I’m grateful every day to be doing it.
My approach is collaborative and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help shift unhelpful thought patterns, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to identify strengths, build on what’s already working, and create small, meaningful steps toward change. I also incorporate mindfulness and trauma-informed care to support healing at your pace.

Problems come from a network of experiences. In our work together, we will investigate these problems: where they come from, how they are supported, what they may be telling you, how you learned from these problems, ways they can be negotiated, and times when they are not present. Nothing is wrong with you. You are simply dealing with problems the best way you know how. As we explore the problems, you will find fresh perspectives and build alternative ways of responding that enable you to build better relationships and handle problems with increased flexibility.

If you’re reading this, it means you exist. Based on your religion, culture, or general belief, you may have a meaning for existence. However, no matter your meaning, one thing is clear - existence can be very challenging for us. There are many ways to cope with the challenges of existing, resulting in different experiences. Therapy is just one way to manage the challenges.
Therapy
There are many ways to approach therapy. One way I like to approach it is to view an individual as a system. In therapy then, we check the system to see what’s working well, what’s neutral, and what’s not going well. In doing this, the goal is to get an individual to admit the reality of things, not what the individual wants or hopes but the present true reality.
It's important to identify and understand the reality of an individual because often there are significant fears and or unstable belief in the individual’s ability to manage challenges and get desired results.
Lack of control – one of the foundational fears for us is the lack of control we seem to have over ourselves and others. How does one cope with seemingly so little control - from how one comes into existence to how will my friend react if I said no.
Whether you’re a veteran in going to therapy or trying it for the first time, we will work as a team to see if we can get you to be how you want to be given the infinite things that are not in your control.
Difficulty relaxing? Constantly overthinking? Overwhelmed by your emotions?
Feeling stuck?
My name is Danielle, and I specialize in supporting women who are struggling to manage anxiety, panic, low self-esteem, PTSD and/or a pattern of unhealthy relationships. Women who may be frustrated that their coping tools are no longer working, or those who feel ready to shift from managing their emotional pain to healing it.
Although it can be therapeutic to talk about our problems, I believe that we need to feel our emotions to truly heal. I specialize in using Brainspotting and somatic techniques to support you in healing emotional stress/trauma and creating a stronger relationship with yourself.
I approach therapy with an open mind and heart, providing a safe space to address your concerns without shame or judgment. I believe that you are the expert on yourself, and my role is to support and guide you toward healing whatever is keeping you stuck.

There is a way out. Those who come to see me are often at a crossroads, frustrated at how they are trying to deal with problems and seeking workable strategies and solutions to cope. Therapy is meant to be a space to feel welcome to talk about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are problematic. Understanding unhealthy behaviors, frustrations with life, and/or unsuccessful efforts to cope can help reveal the obstacles that may block your path to growth and desired outcomes.
Why do we explore? So you can live a life YOU want to live!

Hello! I am Dr. Efrain Zepeda. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Social Worker. In the past 23 years of working as a mental health professional, one important lesson I have learned is that the most powerful therapeutic intervention is found in the interpersonal experience that occurs in the client-therapist relationship. Together we can analyze the past to co-create a new meaning to achieve healing. I strongly believe that therapy is not about labeling or judging, but rather about personal discovery.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with five years of experience providing individual therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and major life transitions. I am deeply committed to helping clients heal emotionally, build resilience, and reconnect with their sense of worth and purpose. My passion for this work is rooted in lived experience. Moving to Nigeria at the age of six, losing my father at twelve, and later experiencing the loss of my newborn taught me firsthand about grief, strength, and the importance of compassionate support. These experiences shaped both who I am and how I show up as a therapist—with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for each client’s journey. I believe healing happens when people feel safe, understood, and empowered. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients move from feeling overwhelmed or stuck toward clarity, emotional balance, and meaningful personal growth.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) that specializes in complex trauma and personality disorders. I also have extensive experience working with those who struggle with mood disorders, depression, anxiety, psychosis, and substance abuse. Hi, my name is Kati Hoover and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Long Beach, California and working with clients statewide via telehealth. Grief is a deeply personal experience, with no set timeline or predictable path. It can arise after the loss of a loved one, an animal companion, a relationship, or even a shift in identity due to illness or life transitions. Left unaddressed, grief can impact your emotional well-being, relationships, and day-to-day functioning.
As a therapist, I offer two areas of specialized support. The first is grief counseling—providing a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where you can process your loss and find meaning in your healing. The second focuses on helping individuals navigate symptoms related to depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorder, often brought on by significant life changes or chronic stress.
My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you're overwhelmed by sadness, struggling with motivation, or feeling disconnected from others, therapy can help you regain clarity and emotional balance.
I intentionally maintain a small caseload to provide personalized, attentive care. My goal is to offer a safe, grounded environment where you feel supported and empowered to move forward at your own pace.
I bring many years of life experience to my work as a therapist: Knowing the pain and difficulties of maintaining a relationship, working on a career path that sometimes frustrates us, experiencing the stuck feeling of anxiety or depression, feeling the loss of a loved one, speaking different languages and understanding cross-cultural issues, wanting more out of life without knowing exactly what that is.
I worked in a lot of different fields - along with my work as a psychotherapist.
Let’s face it—today’s world can feel like trying to navigate the increasingly complicated system at Disneyland that used to feel so easy but now feels impossibly exclusive. Anxiety, uncertainty, frustration, and stress are natural responses to the chaos around us, and if you're feeling overwhelmed, you're definitely not alone. I get it—I’ve been there too. I have a holistic approach to help you not only understand what you're going through, but to navigate it with more clarity and confidence. Together, we’ll explore the root of your challenges and develop practical strategies that will help you find your way to a place of flourishing—no special app required!

Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I have received my Masters degree from University of Southern California (USC). I support women who want to build their self-esteem, heal from inner child wounds, and past traumas. I help my client's break free from the limitations imposed on them by their own past or the pain of their early experiences.
I am a licensed clinical social worker who have been practicing for over 12 years. My passion is working with adults and guiding them in overcoming trauma and healing wounded child parts. This passion is due to my own healing journey as a child who was touched inappropriately, exposed to domestic violence in a military household where my father abused drugs, physically abused my mother, and later experienced the death of my then 3-year-old son. Through my own healing journey, I learned how to "manage" my symptoms after receiving CBT talk therapy and grief counseling but had never healed from my trauma or knew about a wounded child part until receiving my own EMDR counseling. Since then, I have dedicated my life to supporting others who are on their own healing journeys.
Before healing, I experienced symptoms consisting of low self-esteem, mood instability, not feeling safe, trust issues, and the need to control everything which negatively impacted my relationships with others. The journey was difficult but successful, thanks to EMDR. Thankfully, your journey doesn't have to be difficult. EMDR and Brainspotting are two highly effective modalities in treating trauma by helping to heal wounded parts through the brain's own healing process. If you're tired of feeling that you're always being judged, feeling stuck and unable to move forward because “something” is holding you back, experiencing trust or relationship issues, not feeling as if you're good enough, or if you're waking up sad, angry, irritable, or depressed and not understanding why, you may have a wounded part that's ready to heal. If so, I would be honored for the opportunity to help the wounded part within you to recognize that they're safe, they can trust, and that they're good enough.
Welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 11 years of experience in mental health. I specialize in helping individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship/ family conflicts, parenting issues/postpartum, life transitions, immigration, poor body image, and low self-esteem. Therapy is a safe space to explore, process, and understand your emotions, and I do so with a feminist, social justice, and humanistic lens. I utilize evidence-based practices, such as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. We may just as much explore your childhood and family of origin as we may identify concrete solutions to real-time problems. I love bringing in humor as appropriate. Therapy is challenging, and it takes a lot of courage to recognize "I need help." I hope to enter every session with an open mind and a nonjudgmental stance as we walk together through some of the most difficult moments in your life.
