Hello! I am a full-time psychology professor and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in CA. I earned two master's degrees, one in clinical psychology from Pepperdine and the other in social psychology from USC. I also earned a doctorate in social psychology from USC. I treat adults of all ages facing issues with anxiety, depression, relationships, transitions, and substance use.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, we will introduce ourselves and talk about what brings you to therapy and your goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths as a therapist are compassion for others, non-judgmental acceptance, solution-focused guidance, and reliability to serve my clients.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My therapy practice has focused on adults dealing with life issues, transitions, and addictions.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Often, our thoughts drive our emotions and behaviors, so by working on how we think, we can begin the process of changing negative emotions and unproductive behaviors.
Psychodynamic
We all have a history that has led us to where we are now. It is important to explore where we have been to grow and change in the present.
