About me

Hello. I'm a bilingual English-Japanese Licensed Clinical Social worker based in Los Angeles, California. I've been practicing for 7 and a half years. I've been working with adult clients who suffer from depression, anxiety, addiction/addictive behaviors, relationship issues, cultural assimilation issues, loss and grief (including loss of babies and infertility) and psychosis.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will start with brief introduction. Then I will ask you basic intake questions in order to serve you better. If you are comfortable, we can set up treatment goals together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I can provide a safe and warm environment for you to explore about yourself with no judgement. I am happy to explore any struggles deep inside of you. I think it's helpful to really understand yourself in order to make any changes. I see my clients change significantly after discovering self-awareness. I am not here for giving you advice unless that is you are looking for.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am happy to work with adult clients of all ages who have decided to make some changes in their lives. We all make poor judgement sometimes, and life can be difficult. The recovery and healing process is not always linear. I work with clients at their own pace to find their own strengths and solutions.

My treatment methods

Humanistic

I use other treatment methods, but this is my favorite. I believe feeling of been heard and fully accepted by someone unconditionally could heal us by itself.

Mind-body approach

Mind and body are all connected, we can't ignore importance of each other. My view of treatment is approaching holistically, improving overall well-being.

Psychoanalytic

I haven't completed the formal training, but I used this method often with my current clients. I believe understanding the reason why you feel/act as the way you feel/act is important for recovery.
