My approach to therapy is not about "fixing" you; it's about helping you uncover the healthy and confident self within. I'll address the formative experiences that have shaped how you see yourself and relate to others and the world around you. In addition, we’ll collaborate to enact changes in your day-to-day life that support your growth and healing. I use an integrative blend of CBT, attachment, and schema-informed approaches to guide you towards holistic healing.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

The first few sessions lay the foundation for our work together. This is when you describe your experiences and other important factors that contribute to your current struggles. In these sessions, you'll identify what changes you'd like to see, and together, we'll develop a plan of action.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I love to learn about ways to help my clients, and over the years, I've developed an expertise in treating anxiety, trauma, and OCD using treatments that work. I know that one-size-fits-all treatments don't work for everyone, and my experience as a clinician have given me the ability to integrate different approaches to provide individualized treatment, beyond a manual.

My treatment methods

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

I have been helping people recover from OCD using Exposure and Response Prevention since 2018. I take a collaborative and encouraging approach to help clients experience more confidence in their ability to cope with their anxiety. ERP helps my clients learn that they can handle difficult emotions without compulsions.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I can help you change your relationship with painful emotions and narratives, develop more compassion for yourself, and learn to more fully experience and embrace each present moment.

Schema Therapy

If you feel stuck in life, whether it's because of difficulty with emotions or relationships, self-destructive habits, or feeling isolated, Schema Therapy can help. This approach involves identifying the unhelpful coping styles and the mental frameworks at the heart of them. Schema Therapy also focuses on addressing the emotional, behavioral, and cognitive roots of these frameworks in order to strengthen more helpful and healthy coping modes.
