Hi! I am a licensed clinical psychologist from Connecticut. I have been practicing psychology for the past twelve years and love what I do! I firmly believe that everyone deserves to have amazing mental health and feel good in their skin. My goal is to help this with whom I work see they are worthy of good mental health, relief from symptoms, and an improved quality of life!
In our first session, you can expect to spend a bit of time discussing current stressors, some historical information, and a lot of targeted questions to best understand the rationale behind seeking therapy and how we can best work together. This will allow me to begin to form a treatment plan we will use to guide our work together. I also encourage you to ask me questions, it is super important to make sure there is a good fit for us both to work together!
I have always had a strong sense of curiosity and believe this, coupled with a sense of compassion, are always present in the room when working with others. I am also authentic and have a wicked sense of humor, both of which make their way into the room when we are working together.

I have been using CBT for many years to treat a variety of mental health conditions. It is often easy to get lost in the forest of our thoughts, but utilizing CBT can shine a light to see the forest for the trees and bring to light patterns of thinking that we are entangled. This way we can work together and forage a clear path together and leave troubling thoughts behind.
