(she/her)
Hi! I am a licensed mental health counselor living in Savannah, GA. I am licensed in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. I have been in the mental health field for 15 years. I have worked in a variety of settings including community based support, inpatient, partial hospital, and integrated primary care settings. I tend to utilize interventions across CBT, DBT, with a foundation of life experience, circumstance, and trauma stored within the body. I work with my clients to determine what goals and success means for them and I aim to create an open and safe environment where we can learn and grow together.
In the first session with me, I will ask some exploratory information to learn about your presenting concerns and symptoms and learn what you hope to achieve in our work together.
I operate from a person-centered approach with an emphasis on authentic expression and coping with a over-stimulating society.
I love working with clients who are open to discussing trauma and life experiences and how they impact and shape our day to day patterns.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
My approach is centered in helping patients find strengths and self compassion in themselves, in order to process and work through their life experiences and patterns thereof.
