I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that something isn't OK right now. That something might be new, or it might have been around a long time. You might be able to describe it perfectly, or you might just feel off without knowing why. Either way — you're here, and that's the only thing that matters right now. I start from wherever you are. No assumptions, no judgments, no one-size-fits-all approach. Just a genuine desire to understand you — what's brought you here, what you're carrying, and what you're hoping for. Therapy with me — whether you're coming alone or with a partner — tends to be honest and occasionally even a little lighthearted. The human experience isn't black and white, and neither is the work we'll do together. What stays consistent is that you'll have a space that belongs to you, where nothing you say or feel changes how I show up for you. For couples, that space belongs to both of you equally. I don't take sides. What I do is help you see the pattern you're both caught in — because most of the time it's the cycle doing the damage, not each other. When that shifts, something else becomes possible. No matter what it is you are navigating — depression, relationships, identity, or the gap between how you show up and how you actually feel inside — you don't have to have it figured out to reach out.

Hello, I am Mackenzie from Shifting Perspectives LLC. I would describe my personality as easy-going and direct. I believe therapy is most effective when there is a strong two-way directional relation, which may take time to build. I welcome clients to find/use their voice (as therapy is personalized) to inform me what's working and what is not. I will work alongside you to provide personalized therapy tailored to your goals, using evidence-based approaches like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and offer techniques to help you develop coping skills, regulate emotions, and build the stamina needed to create the changes you would like to see, in the life that is your own.

My name is Rick Amaral, ACSW, LCSW. Let me begin by fully introducing myself and sharing with you my years of experience as a clinician, manager and director. I have been working with children, teens and adult in many different formats (i.e. individual, family work, group work) for over 30 years in both private practice, as well as with local community mental health agencies. I am also an Adjunct Professor at the local area colleges for the past 20+ years, teaching both psychology and sociology courses (both graduate and undergraduate level courses). In our sessions, I would like to utilize a strengths-based approach that works alongside you to identify areas that you would like to work on. Acknowledging that all cars come with rearview mirrors, I would like to spend some time hearing from you about past life events and journey that you think have contributed to your development (both positively and otherwise). My preferred way of assisting you is to focus on a Life Narrative format. Such narratives allow for many chapters, some written, many left to be written. When warranted, I will provide psycho-educational information on topics of interest (i.e. diagnosis, skill building, coping skills, mindfulness, etc..) and will share with you both local and community supports that you could draw upon after our time together has come to a close.

I’m a licensed psychotherapist working with adults who may appear high-functioning on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally unsettled beneath the surface. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, self-doubt, or persistent patterns they can’t quite untangle on their own. My style is thoughtful, steady, and insight-oriented. I integrate practical tools for emotional regulation with deeper exploration of relational patterns and attachment dynamics. I believe therapy should feel both grounding and meaningful — a place where you can slow down, understand yourself more clearly, and begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you. Clients often describe me as calm, direct, and attuned. I aim to create a space that feels safe enough for honesty and structured enough for real change. My work focuses not only on reducing symptoms, but on building emotional clarity, stability, and more secure ways of relating — to others and to yourself. I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel truly seen, heard, and understood. With more than 25 years of experience as a therapist and wellness professional, I bring a compassionate, down-to-earth, and collaborative approach to helping clients navigate life's challenges particularly around issues with food, diet/binge cycling, body image, self-esteem, and relationships. Clients often tell me they appreciate my warm, genuine style and my ability to balance empathy with practical guidance. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns at your own pace while feeling supported and empowered throughout the process. My work is grounded in the belief that emotional and physical well-being are deeply connected. In addition to my training in social work and psychotherapy, I have specialized training in intuitive eating and functional wellness, which allows me to take a whole-person approach to healing. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-worth, emotional eating, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, I help you uncover the root causes of your challenges while building practical tools for lasting change. I don't believe therapy is about fixing what's wrong with you. Instead, it's about helping you reconnect with your strengths, gain insight into patterns that may be holding you back, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are. We will work through your personalized goals to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and intention. I believe true health is not built through perfection or extremes, but through sustainable habits, self-awareness, and learning how to work with your body instead of against it. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of building a healthier, more balanced life that genuinely feels good to maintain.

Congratulations for taking the first step towards your healing and self discovery. The successful therapeutic process requires a safe connection with your practitioner. If after reading my profile you suspect my skills are aligned with your needs, we can set-up an exploratory session to create a plan that works best for you in our partnership together. I understand that looking for quality therapeutic services can feel like a challenge and as the world evolves, so does the sense of ourselves begin to unfold. I value and advocate for the dignity of all cultures, respect our differences, and provide a safe space to explore the injustices we encounter. In the early days of my career, I began with an interest in the grassroots work to help strengthen communities. I've supported many individuals throughout the world with a strong interest in healing and teaching others on how to find their own voice. Over the past 20 years, I've practiced in a variety of treatment modalities with a strong focus on a holistic approach. I hold a dual Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work and Leadership. Within my professional journey, my expertise in delivering therapeutic services range from Early Childhood Development to Older Adults in a variety of settings but not limited to e.g. schools, hospitals, nonprofit, community programs, and residential treatment. Today, my specialties include trauma focused therapy, psychotherapy, defining our attachment styles, CBT, mindfulness techniques, life transitions, work-related stress, coaching, and exploring intergenerational patterns. I'm passionate about the Arts and have incorporated them into my practice, which influenced my style of therapy. Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you've spent a long time carrying things on your own. You may be feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, stuck in self-criticism, or wondering why the same patterns keep showing up in your life. My goal is to provide a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and practical. We'll work together to better understand your experiences while also building skills you can use in your everyday life. Although we'll explore difficult topics, therapy doesn't have to feel heavy all the time. I believe humor, curiosity, and genuine connection can be important parts of healing. I tailor therapy to each person's unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. My work is informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, and I often incorporate creative approaches such as writing, storytelling, art, or reflective exercises when they resonate with my clients. I also integrate inner child and parts-informed work, along with body awareness practices, to help clients better understand themselves and reconnect with their strengths. I have extensive experience supporting trauma survivors, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and chronic stress. I also have a special interest in helping people heal from the effects of weight stigma, body shame, and experiences of being judged or misunderstood because of their bodies. As a PhD student, I am passionate about advancing research in weight stigma and bringing that knowledge into compassionate, affirming clinical care.

Are you tired of feeling trapped in the same endless cycle? Does the weight of your thoughts feel heavier with each passing day? Enough is enough. It’s time to reclaim your reality, your joy, and your sense of self. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, and I have a deep passion for helping people move through anxiety, depression, emotional stuck points, and the challenges that can make life feel overwhelming. I create a space where you can be real, feel heard, and begin making sense of what you are experiencing without judgment. My approach is warm, genuine, collaborative, and highly solution-focused. I believe therapy should be more than simply talking about the same problems week after week. Together, we work to understand what is happening, identify the patterns keeping you stuck, develop practical tools, and begin making meaningful changes that you can actually feel in your everyday life. I am naturally someone who wants to understand the “why,” but I am equally interested in the “what now?” What can we do differently? What can we change? What can help you feel more grounded, more confident, and more in control of your life? My work is rooted in empathy, curiosity, honesty, and collaboration. You do not have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We start exactly where you are, take things one step at a time, and work together toward creating a life that feels healthier, more fulfilling, and more like your own.

Hi, I’m Demetria Agharese, and I help people who are tired of feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or disconnected from themselves find their way forward. My ideal clients are adults who may look like they have it all together on the outside but are quietly struggling on the inside. You may be the person everyone depends on while privately battling anxiety, intrusive thoughts, OCD, self-doubt, burnout, relationship difficulties, or the pressure to constantly “hold it all together.” Maybe your mind won’t shut off. You overthink every decision, question your feelings, replay conversations, worry about what might happen, or feel trapped by thoughts you wish you could turn off. Maybe you’re navigating a breakup, divorce, major life transition, low self-esteem, or simply wondering, “How did I lose myself?” You don’t have to continue living that way. I offer a warm, genuine, culturally responsive, and judgment-free space where you can put down the weight you’ve been carrying and talk openly about what’s really happening. I don’t believe therapy should feel like sitting across from someone who simply checks boxes on a diagnosis list. I believe you deserve to feel heard, understood, challenged when needed, and supported throughout the process. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ERP, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, behavioral strategies, and mindfulness, I help clients break unhelpful cycles, face fears, manage difficult emotions, build confidence, establish healthier boundaries, and become less controlled by anxiety and uncertainty. Most importantly, therapy with me is collaborative. I’m not here to tell you who you should be. I’m here to help you discover who you are, understand what matters to you, and develop the confidence to live accordingly. If you’re ready to stop simply surviving and start creating a life that feels more peaceful, authentic, confident, and meaningful, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

“Between stimulus and response, there is a space; within that space lies your power and freedom…” Here’s the thing; we’re all basically the same- but then again, not. Our reactions (to unexpected events, comments, public scrutiny) can vary, depending on our nature, personality, character and whether or not we’ve had breakfast. While the last part was just to get your attention, I’m committed to understanding what makes YOU “tick” and why you respond the way you do. That, in and of itself may be fascinating, but my true intention is to get you back on track, help you find your footing and become laser-focused & confident, regardless of your circumstances! A bit about me: A native New Yorker, I acquired my MSW following a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from CCNY. Essentially, I view myself as a scientist and life coach, a motivator who recognizes that we’re ALL unique individuals, but do share many of the same thoughts & feelings. Most of us have struggled with anxiety, uncertainty and self-doubt; yet we’ve also experienced feeling confident, grounded and secure at one time or another. Then something happened and our self-esteem took a hit; there were setbacks. Bear in mind, our backgrounds and early childhood experiences, our genetic predispositions all serve to shape our personalities and the essence of our being. To that end, as a clinician, I strive to guide individuals to examine their beliefs- in order to gain insight into their potentially self-destructive behavior- or whatever is getting in the way of their progress. Together, we’ll explore what’s influenced your self-concept and self-esteem. The saying that always resonated with me, “If you think you can, or you think you can’t- you’re right…” Life can feel overwhelming & insurmountable, but with the right tools, the sky’s the limit- whatever you’re facing!

I am a licensed, independent clinical social worker that has more than 20 years in the field of helping others. I have worked with clients of all ages from "the littles" at two years old with Autism to those 90+ and above who are coming to terms with a terminal diagnosis. I specialize in working with women, men, and all included in the LGBTQIA+ population. My clinical work has included hospice work, school social work, in home therapy and outpatient clinical work. I love helping people live their calmest and most productive life possible and I truly believe in a positive growth mindset- we are all operating at our best capacity we are capable of at any given moment! As a therapist, I am currently accepting patients who are struggling with depression, anxiety or mood or attention problems. I practice from an existential point of view and believe that my clients are the best experts in their life so I look to our relationship as a partnership of work together moving forward while healing past traumas and experiences that might be holding you back. You have amazing potential- you just need to unleash it and realize the strength that you have within! For more than 25 years as a social worker, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals as they identify their strengths, clarify their goals, and build the skills needed to create meaningful change. Over the years, I have learned that growth rarely happens in a straight line. It often begins with small steps, honest conversations, and the willingness to try something new. I believe every person has the capacity for growth, even during life’s most difficult seasons, and that healing is possible when people feel supported, respected, and understood. My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and solution-focused. I blend evidence-based practices with humor, grace, and gentle persistence to help clients move toward the life they want. In our work together, we will focus on what is already working, identify patterns that may be getting in the way, and develop practical coping skills that fit your unique needs and values. I strive to create a supportive, collaborative space where you can speak openly, explore challenges without judgment, and feel encouraged to keep moving forward, even when progress feels slow. I also believe therapy should be both practical and empowering. Together, we will look for creative solutions, build resilience, and strengthen your confidence in handling whatever comes your way. Change is not always easy, but you do not have to navigate it alone. My goal is to help you reduce your struggles, reconnect with your strengths, and discover the tools you need not just to cope, but to thrive in your daily life and relationships. Whether you are facing stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, or a major life transition, I will meet you where you are and work with you at a pace that feels manageable, hopeful, and grounded in your strengths so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

I’ve always been interested in understanding people — how life experiences, relationships, stress, and challenges shape the way we cope and move through the world. Over time, I realized I found a lot of meaning in helping people work through obstacles, gain perspective, and feel less stuck in the things weighing them down. I know it can be hard to ask for support, especially when you’ve been trying to manage everything on your own. I want clients to feel comfortable being honest about what they’re facing while also working together to find practical, concrete solutions that help life feel more manageable and move them toward meaningful, lasting change. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and my Master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical focus from Capella University. Over the past 14 years, I have worked with children, teens, adults, couples, and families across in-home, outpatient, and telehealth settings. I’ve supported people through some of the most difficult periods of their lives, including severe anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, family conflict, crisis situations, and overwhelming life stress. Working in a variety of settings and with diverse client needs has taught me how to meet people where they are, adapt to challenging situations, and help clients find realistic ways to move forward. I see therapy as a place to be real about what’s not working and figure out what needs to change. Some clients come in feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected in relationships, overwhelmed by responsibilities, or frustrated by patterns they can’t seem to break. My role is to help people make sense of what they’re experiencing, develop practical tools that actually fit their lives, and regain a stronger sense of control, stability, and confidence moving forward.

My own journey has taught me that life doesn’t always unfold the way we expect it to. Hello, and welcome! I’m Ana Blondet, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults navigate life’s challenges. I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel safe, heard, and genuinely understood. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, meeting you where you are while helping you build the tools and confidence to move forward. In addition to providing therapy, I have spent more than a decade working as a school social worker, supporting elementary-aged children, many of whom receive special education services through an Individualized Education Program (IEP). This experience has given me a deep understanding of child development, behavioral challenges, family collaboration, and advocating for students’ social and emotional success. I am also a licensed DDS caregiver with over eight years of experience providing residential support to an individual with intellectual disabilities. In addition, I have several years of experience working in residential settings serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These experiences have strengthened my skills in providing person-centered care, promoting independence, supporting daily living needs, and advocating for the unique needs of each individual. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, emotional regulation, and family concerns. As a bilingual therapist, I provide services in both English and Spanish and strive to create a culturally responsive and welcoming environment for every client. Hello, I'm Elizabeth. As a therapist over the last 13 years I have worked with a wide variety of people as an advocate and an ally in helping them heal and grow through the therapy process. Beginning to look for a therapist can bring on anxiety, but know that taking this step is already a major sign of growth. I help work through the chaos inside one's head to identify what are the actual causes of anxiety, stress, and depression. In sessions it can be a time to process emotions, but more importantly, to identify the cause of stressors and what is and is not in your control. I help people learn to set boundaries, work on self-care, and coping skills, and be true to their authentic selves. I have always been an advocate for those that don't feel that their voices are heard including: LGBTQIA+ individuals, TBI survivors, Neurodivergent individuals, parents, college students, healthcare workers, teachers and individuals looking to find their self-worth. My approach starts with a person-centered mindset and by working together we will decide which therapeutic techniques will work best for you as an individual.

It’s tricky being a person. Talk therapy can help. Life can be complicated. Maybe you're going through a big change, feeling overwhelmed by your thoughts, or wondering why you've been stuck in the same patterns. Whatever brings you here, you don't have to figure it out on your own. Sometimes the ways we've always coped stop working as well as they once did. Therapy can help you better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change. Talk therapy can help by providing a structured space to: Understand patterns in thoughts, emotions, and behavior. Work through stress, anxiety, grief, or relationship challenges. Develop coping strategies and communication skills. Explore personal goals, values, and identity. Feel heard by someone trained to listen without judgment. It's not only for crises or mental health diagnoses. Some people use therapy much like they would coaching, education, or preventative healthcare: as a way to better understand themselves and handle life's complexities.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I use dogs in my office while doing therapy. Please schedule telehealth or advise in advance if you are not comfortable in an office with animals. They do provide therapeutic support to clients and have been part of my practice for some time. I hold licenses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida and specialty certification as a Certified Advanced Drug & Alcohol Counselor and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am a firm believer in everything that happens creates the person. I am a whole life counselor and work with people to explore what it would take to move past the difficult times in life. I take the time to get to know my clients and have many clients who have been with me for years. That doesn't mean someone will see me every week for the rest of their life. It means client know I am available when they have need. I do have clients who have seen me weekly for years not because they are dependent on me but because they have found benefit in processing their life regularly. I have had a successful personal practice for years and can offer clients the space and reverence to unpack the most unpleasant things to reorder them in a way they no longer can cause harm as they once did. There is no perfect childhood and it is likely families do the best they can and it may not have filled the needs of their child. I am happy to take as much time as needed to work through the problem as you understand it.

With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in working with children ages 4–7 using play based therapy, a developmentally appropriate approach that meets children where they are. Because play is a natural way children communicate and make sense of the world around them, it provides a safe and engaging space for them to express emotions, work through difficult experiences, and develop new skills. Additionally, I work with individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from themselves. Many of my clients are navigating difficult family dynamics and relationship challenges. I help clients find their voice, build self trust, set healthier boundaries, and heal from toxic or emotionally harmful relationships. Together, we work to better understand patterns, strengthen self worth, and move toward relationships that feel safer, more balanced, and more fulfilling.

I’m a therapist who supports adults who carry a lot—people who often feel like the steady one for everyone else while quietly feeling overwhelmed or disconnected inside. I show up in therapy with warmth, grounding, and a calm presence, and I want this space to feel like somewhere you can finally slow down, breathe, and be fully yourself. As a queer therapist, a military spouse, and a former minister, I understand what it’s like to navigate identity, belonging, faith transitions, and the pressure to stay strong during major life changes. I provide culturally sensitive and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and I’m experienced supporting military service members, veterans, and the loved ones who share the emotional load alongside them. I’m here to walk with you as you explore who you are, heal old patterns, build healthier boundaries, and create a life and relationships that feel more grounded, honest, and sustainable.
