About me

Hello, my name is Stacy and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) . I have worked in hospice, Palliative care, Emergency rooms, and private setting. My goal is to create a safe, supportive and compassionate space. Life can have its ups and downs and I strive to help you navigate this season in your life. There can be times when it feels hard to express what you are thinking and feeling to others and I strive to be that outlet for you. My focus is to help you set goals for therapy and provide you with the tools to achieve them.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you-what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping for, and what's felt hard or painful lately. I'll ask some gentle questions to better understand your history, your strengths, and any goals you have for our work together. You can expect a calm, compassionate space where all parts of you are welcome, and there's no pressure to share more than you're ready for. It’s the beginning of a collaborative process, where we move at your pace.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

From the initial session, you can expect compassion and meeting you where you are. I realize that an important part of therapy is feeling a positive and safe connection with your therapist. I will meet you where you are and will hold space for you to allow you to process your emotions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is experiencing a new stage of their life or feels something is causing them struggle with where they are. You may be feeling stuck, uncertain, or want to make a change but are uncertain where to begin. You may be feeling lost, vulnerable, or guarded. I understand that life can be unexpected at times and we may feel that there is no one who understands us. I have experienced many stages in life and realize that navigating through them can feel overwhelming at times.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using this method, we will work together to identify negative thoughts and how they impact your moods and actions. We will also work together to develop coping strategies and problem solving skills.

I provide this type of therapy to allow you to process your thoughts and emotions related to your loss in a safe, nonjudgmental space. This can be related to the loss of a loved one, job, divorce or another significant life change.
