New to Grow
As a clinical social worker, my goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, support, and truly heard. I believe therapy is a collaborative process, one where we work together to understand what's been weighing on you, explore new perspectives, and help you move toward lasting change. My approach is compassionate and down to earth. I draw from evidence-based methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and other modalities. I don't believe in a "one size fits all" for therapy. Together, we'll find what works best for you and your goals. Therapy is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to make a change, I'm here to walk alongside you with empathy an encouragement. Together, we'll create space for growth, healing, and a greater sense of peace in your life.
You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where your voice is heard. I'll explain how I work, answer any questions you may have, and discuss practical next steps. By the end of the session, we'll have a clearer sense of how we can work together, and you'll leave with a sense of direction for moving forward. My goal is to create a safe space where you can begin exploring change at your own pace.
I have extensive experience across inpatient, outpatients, and community mental health settings, which has given me a broad understanding of clients' needs at every stage of care. One of my greatest strengths as a clinician is my ability to meet clients where they are with empathy, curiosity, and a nonjudgmental approach, while guiding them toward meaningful change. I am highly skilled at building rapport, helping clients feel safe to explore difficult emotions and experiences. I also bring experience conducting comprehensive assessments and facilitating group and individual therapy, which allows me to support clients both individually and within a community setting. My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based, helping clients recognize their resilience, build self-compassion, and develop practical skills to navigate life's challenges. What makes me unique is my combination of clinical expertise, real world experience, and genuine passion for supporting people in their personal growth. I prioritize creating a safe, collaborative space where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, identify goals, and take steps toward a more fulfilling life. My work is guided by empathy, flexibility, and a commitment to helping clients build lasting insight, skills, and resilience.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, body image concerns, grief, and relationship challenges. I'm especially passionate about helping people build self-acceptance, improve emotional balance, and strengthen connections with themselves and others. My style is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping you uncover your strengths and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
In my clinical social work practice, I use CBT to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, build coping skills, and make meaningful behavioral changes. I apply CBT with individual experiencing depression, anxiety, body image concerns and others.
I incorporate DBT to help client build skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. I use DBT strategies to support clients managing intense emotions, self-criticism, and relationship challenges.
I use MI to help client's explore ambivalence, strengthen intrinsic motivation, and make meaningful behavior changes. I apply MI techniques with a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach, supporting clients in aligning their goals and values.
I use a strengths-based approach to help clients recognize and build upon their existing resilience, skills, and resources. This framework fosters empowerment and self-efficacy, supporting clients in creating positive change while honoring their identities and experiences.
I incorporate Gestalt therapy to help clients increase awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in the present moment. This approach encourages personal insight, authenticity, and self-acceptance.
