At different points in our lives, we may encounter challenges that feel overwhelming. Often, the hardest step is simply reaching out for help.

I have a particular passion for supporting youth and their families, while also valuing the opportunity to work with individuals and families at every stage of life. My background includes working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence, relationship and family changes, grief and loss, and various life transitions.

I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor in Ohio and a retired Air Force veteran. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief, relationship concerns, and life changes. You might be feeling overwhelmed by something happening now, or you may be ready to work through experiences you’ve carried for years. We can start with whatever feels most important to you.
Some of the people I work with find themselves replaying conversations, saying yes when they want to say no, or going quiet when they feel hurt. Others are adjusting to a loss, feeling anxious without knowing why, or trying to figure out why the same conflicts keep coming up. Together, we can explore how your experiences have shaped the way you cope, trust others, and ask for what you need.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and structured. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Master Resilience Trainer, I bring experience helping people make sense of what they’re feeling and find practical ways to respond. That might mean practicing how to set a boundary, finding ways to get through an anxious moment, or making room for grief when everyone around you seems to have moved on. We’ll work at a pace that feels manageable and focus on changes that matter to you outside of sessions.
Hi! I’m Sasha, a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) who believes therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment. As a clinical social worker and addiction counselor, I am committed to helping individuals navigate mental health concerns, substance use disorders, and complex life challenges with compassion and understanding.
My approach is strengths-based and focused on helping you develop a more accurate, balanced, and compassionate view of yourself. I am a licensed clinical social worker and I have been practicing social work for the past 8 years. I am also a mother, wife, and a multitasker. I got into social work with the desire to help others. Growing up, I was always the one person people could turn to when they need someone to talk to and have someone listen. Life can be crazy, hectic, and take turns that we did not necessarily plan for ourselves. I am here to help you navigate those unexpected turns. Having someone you can trust and talk to can be beneficial to get you through those life changing moments. My goal is to be that person for you. Together, we will work on building our therapeutic relationship and making therapy a safe place.
Hello, I'm Marianne and I've been a therapist for 15 years. I've been providing online therapy for five years and my previous ten years of experience includes inpatient and outpatient care, group and individual therapy, and working closely with a psychiatrist. I find online therapy as effective as in person and much more convenient for my clients. I am an independently licensed counselor in the state of Ohio (LPCC) which means I diagnosis and treat.
Are you wanting to increase happiness and overall satisfaction with your life? Would you like to work towards gaining control of your thoughts, feelings, and actions? Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-worth, addiction, trauma, or just simply feeling overwhelmed with life, these are goals that you can reach.
Through counseling I want to help you take back the control and start living your best life. I take a client centered approach, helping you to feel motivated and capable of making changes. In our sessions we would work to increase your awareness and understanding of the challenges you are facing while developing concrete ways to address them.
Asking for help can be a very difficult step, but you are not alone. We all need support at times, and I would be honored to provide that for you. I am currently accepting adult patients for telehealth counseling services.
I believe healing is possible, even when the experiences we've been through feel difficult to move beyond. While we never choose to experience trauma, we can begin to find our own path forward with the right support. Therapy cannot erase the past, but it can offer a safe space to process, grow, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves we may have lost along the way. I believe every person has the capacity for change, growth, and healing, even when that might feel impossible. It is my privilege to walk alongside clients as they learn their own strengths, build self-understanding, and create a life they are proud to call their own.
I focus my practice on supporting LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent humans experiencing trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, and minority stress to develop greater creativity, joy, and fulfillment in their unique life. Artists, queers, outsiders, and those exploring their identities are centered in my practice. I believe the point of life is to learn and grow through the challenges while becoming more fully yourself.

Hi, I'm Rozelle Allen a passionate, dedicated, counselor and certified trauma specialist with over 20 years of experience, licensed in two states - serving clients across both Ohio and Florida. I use a compassionate approach, and will strive to make sure you have a safe place to be open without fear and judgement. Life may sometimes be very challenging, and you have taken the first and very important step in reaching out for help. I would like to help you work on the struggles you are facing, and meet you where you are at. I work with children, adolescents and adults. Some of the areas I address include anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, adoption, job and school stress.
I became a counselor because I believe the pieces of our individual stories often become so tangled that it takes someone else to help us sort out and realign our lives. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervision designation (LPCC-S). I have been in private practice for over a decade, primarily helping clients who are struggling with eating disorders and disordered eating. I also work with individuals struggling with other issues including grief, trauma, and anxiety.
I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m passionate about walking alongside you on your healing journey—supporting you as you work toward symptom relief, emotional balance, greater self-acceptance, and more fulfilling relationships. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been honored to work as a therapist for 13 years. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion, with the goal of helping you feel supported, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change in your life.
Hello there! My name is Amber Jackson and I am a licensed Clinical Counselor that has several years of experience working with adolescents and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and a whole myriad of things that life may be throwing at you right now. I offer a supportive, collaborative approach to therapy and operate from a strengths-based, person-centered lens. I also practice Christian counseling so if that is something important to you or you are wanting to explore that more in-depth, I'd be happy to help.
My name is Jennifer Bailey, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Drama Therapist. I help clients identify and pursue the goals that lead to a life filled with meaning, pride, and contentment.
Now, you may be wondering: “What exactly is a Registered Drama Therapist (RDT)?” Simply put, it means I integrate elements of theater and creative expression into the therapeutic process. With me, you have options. You might choose a traditional talk-therapy session to explore your thoughts, emotions, and goals. Or, if words don’t feel like enough, you might try something more experiential—writing, movement, role-play, or even reimagining and practicing conversations that keep replaying in your mind.
Talk therapy is a powerful tool for growth, but sometimes it takes more than words to truly process what’s happening inside. That’s where creativity can open new doors. Whether through conversation, movement, sound, or artistic expression, I provide a space where you can choose what feels most healing and helpful.
I would be honored to support you—whether that’s working toward personal goals, processing difficult emotions, or making positive and lasting changes in your life.

I'm Carmela Byus, LPCC-S, LICDC, a licensed mental health and substance use clinician who has been helping individuals navigate life's challenges since 2012. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. Every person has a unique story, and healing is not a one-size-fits-all journey.
My approach is compassionate, person-centered, holistic, and trauma-informed. I recognize that our experiences, relationships, family dynamics, and attachment patterns can shape how we see ourselves, manage emotions, and connect with others.
I work with individuals navigating trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, substance use concerns, low self-worth, relational difficulties, and life transitions. I am especially passionate about helping individuals understand how past experiences, attachment wounds, and learned patterns may influence their emotional well-being and relationships today.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore challenges, recognize your strengths, develop healthier coping strategies, and reconnect with your sense of identity and purpose.
I believe our past experiences may shape us, but they do not have to define our future. Through understanding, self-compassion, and meaningful connection, healing and personal growth are possible.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Bowling Green State University and my Master of Social Work from the University of Toledo. I have been working with individuals and communities since 1998 and became independently licensed in 2011. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory Designation. Throughout my career, I have supported individuals across the lifespan, including adolescents, adults, and older adults. My experience includes working with individuals, couples, and families, particularly people who are marginalized, underserved, unhoused, or living with serious and persistent mental illness and co-occurring conditions. Much of my clinical work has centered on individuals impacted by significant trauma, including complex and generational trauma. I recognize that mental health concerns rarely exist in isolation. Trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship difficulties, identity exploration, and other life stressors can intersect in complex ways. I am also interested in helping clients explore patterns in their relationships with food, body image, social media, technology, and other aspects of daily life that may affect emotional well-being, self-esteem, and connection with others. My therapeutic approach is grounded in humanistic and relational principles, influenced by Carl Rogers and Virginia Satir. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care, adapting these approaches to each client's individual experiences, strengths, needs, and goals.
I'm Brad Justice, an independently licensed therapist with over a decade of experience working with adults. My style is direct and practical. I won't just nod and reflect your words back at you. We'll dig into what's actually driving the patterns, figure out what needs to change, and build real tools you can use outside of our sessions.
I specialize in relationship patterns/communication, anxiety and burnout. I also work with grief, caregiver fatigue, and life transitions. I'm an affirming provider for LGBTQIA+ clients and bring both clinical training and genuine investment to that work.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience helping individuals and couples work through anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and everyday life challenges. My approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with supportive, honest conversations and practical strategies. I want clients to feel comfortable being themselves, talking openly, and knowing they won't be judged. Together, we'll identify unhelpful patterns, explore different perspectives, and work toward meaningful changes.
Hi, I’m Brittany, an LISW in Ohio, wife, and mom of three with a heart for supporting women through the many seasons and transitions of life. I’m especially passionate about women’s and maternal mental health and creating a space where women feel seen, heard, and genuinely supported.
I’m the founder of Selah Maternal Wellness, a virtual private practice where I work with women navigating anxiety, stress, overwhelm, life transitions, relationships, identity, pregnancy, postpartum, motherhood, and the everyday challenges that come with carrying so many roles.
While maternal mental health holds a special place in my heart, my work is not limited to motherhood. I welcome women in all stages of life who are looking for a space to slow down, reconnect with themselves, build on their strengths, and create meaningful change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, strengths-based, and focused on meeting you where you are. I also offer Christian counseling and faith-based therapy for women who would like to incorporate their faith into their healing journey, while always honoring each client’s individual beliefs and preferences.
The name Selah reflects much of what I hope to offer through this work—a moment to pause, reflect, breathe, and reconnect. As women, we can spend so much time caring for everyone and everything around us that we forget we need care, too!
Beyond individual therapy, I offer local workshops and group sessions to help women and moms connect, learn, and build supportive community. I’m also currently working toward my PMH-C certification to deepen my ability to support women throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.
Whether through individual therapy, faith-based support, workshops, or groups, my hope is for Selah to be a place where women can pause, feel supported, reconnect with who they are, and know they don’t have to navigate life alone.
My name is Kerri Schofield. I am a passionate and curious person and I love what I get to do each day. I have primarily worked with adolescents and young adults, but have discovered a passion for working with trauma and grief for individuals of all ages. I continue to learn and grow in the types of therapy skills I utilize. I've learned so much from every individual I've ever worked with, and am honored to be able to join with others in their discovery and healing journeys.
Hi! I’m Shannon, a therapist and fellow mom who specializes in women’s and maternal mental health. I support women navigating pregnancy, infertility, postpartum anxiety and depression, identity shifts, and the mental load of motherhood. You can love your baby deeply and still feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unlike yourself and that doesn’t make you a bad mom.
Alongside my work in maternal mental health, I also support women navigating life changes and transitions that shape who they are. This may include relationship changes or breakups, healing from trauma, anxiety about the future, depression, or rediscovering yourself during times when you feel lost or disconnected.
My work focuses on helping women slow down, reconnect with their nervous system, and become more in tune with their bodies so they can feel more grounded, confident, and whole.
Hi I am Mary McKenzie-Nason (LPCC, M.ED), I am a Professional Clinical Counselor who graduated with my Master’s Degree in Community Agency Counseling from Cleveland State University. I have been practicing since 2010 and have experience working with individuals, couples and families. Research shows, and I agree, therapy is most effective when the client has a strong relationship with their therapist that is built on trust and mutual respect. I take the time to develop a space where clients feel they can be authentically themselves. I view my clients as the driver and I am the GPS-there to guide them to their destination.
Hi there! I'm so glad you're taking this step toward your mental well-being. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Together, we’ll work through challenges, uncover your strengths, and build the tools you need to feel more confident and resilient. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or life transitions, I’m here to support you in finding balance and growth.
I specialize in mental health therapy tailored for women and femme-identified clients, focusing on issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, a history of trauma and life transitions. Please note that my practice does not address substance use disorders, facilitate couples/family counseling or work with children. If you're seeking support for concerns within my expertise, I am here to help you navigate and enhance your mental well-being in a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic environment.
Your journey is unique, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you discover a path that feels right for you

I’m Garrick Kreitzer, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Kentucky and Ohio with 15+ years of experience helping adult men work through trauma, substance misuse, relationships, and all the challenges that come with life.
My therapeutic strategy uses an eclectic, individualized approach that focuses on results and overall mental wellness, and employs concepts and techniques pulled from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Parts Work, and Strengths-Based modalities. However, I tend believe strongly in the "Whatever Works Best For You" frame of clinical reference.
I'm excited to work with you!
I’m a licensed professional clinical counselor and counselor educator with more than a decade of experience in mental health, supervision, and counselor training. I work primarily with adults navigating stress, grief, identity, relationships, life transitions, burnout, and the effects of difficult past experiences.
My approach is relational, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that counseling should make room for the complexity of real life. I tend to be warm, thoughtful, straightforward, and curious. I’m not the kind of therapist who simply sits back and nods—I ask questions, offer perspective, and work alongside you to better understand patterns, possibilities, and what might actually be helpful.
My practice is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and affirming of LGBTQ+ and other diverse identities and experiences. I especially enjoy working with people who are thoughtful and self-aware but may feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure what comes next. You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to counseling. We can start with where you are.
Hey there! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Ohio. I received my Masters from Ashland Theological Seminary and have practiced for 10 years. I help women who are adjusting to various life issues and relationships become the best versions of themselves.
In my spare time, I enjoy working out, running a photography business, and spending time with my family.
Hi, I’m Judy. I’ve been a counselor for over 20 years, and I enjoy getting to know people beyond the problems that bring them to therapy. People spend a lot of their lives being told how to be. I want to give you room to figure out what you think, what matters to you, and what you want to change. My style is conversational. I ask questions, share observations, and appreciate a little humor along the way. You don’t have to know where to start. We can figure that out together.

As a licensed professional clinical counselor and independent marriage & family therapist with over 20 years of experience, I help couples, families and individuals overcome trauma, conflict and co‑occurring disorders.
You're not alone. As a "people helper" dedicated to preserving the family, I know that working through trauma and conflict takes courage. Through secure sessions on - line, I offer a safe space where you can feel seen, understood and empowered to make lasting change. When you're ready to take the next step, I'm here.
Therapy shouldn’t feel like another high-pressure task on your overflowing to-do list. In my practice as a licensed therapist, I support folks moving through burnout, anxiety, and big life transitions within a welcoming, neuroaffirming space. Rather than trying to "fix" who you are, my approach draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and compassionate curiosity to help you work with your mind's natural rhythms and strengths, not against them. Together, we figure out practical ways to navigate daily life in an environment that is gentle, judgment-free, and always open to a little humor when you need it most.
I’m Jessica, and I’m so glad you are here. I am a Christian but work with people of any faith or none at all. I work with teens, young adults, women, and couples- whether you are navigating trauma, childhood wounds, harmful or unhelpful relationship patterns, toxic workplaces, church hurt (without having to lose your faith), parenting, and betrayal/infidelity. I'm passionate about working with people who are ready to understand their patterns, do the hard work of growth, and move toward healing.
We’re shaped by both our wounding and our wiring. Because of that, I use a trauma-informed AND attachment-based approach to help you understand where your patterns come from and create meaningful change through EMDR, inner child work, IFS, and memory reconsolidation, integrating your spirituality if you would like. With couples, I draw from Gottman-informed methods to rebuild connection and intimacy.

I am a licensed psychologist in Ohio and Virginia and a graduate of the University of Toledo. I have been serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families for over 35 years in a variety of settings. I maintain a part-time outpatient therapy practice while helping to lead a mental health agency in Virginia (where I live). Originally from Toledo, Ohio, I hope to serve clients who are in Toledo and/or the surrounding area. While my practice will be primarily via Telehealth, serving clients from the Toledo area will allow me to occasionally conduct in-person sessions. I love to help clients have a more compassionate understanding of themselves and others, heal through difficult circumstances, improve relationships, and achieve desired changes in their lives.

You deserve a therapist who sees all of you — not just the struggle you’re carrying. I’m here to be that safe space. My clients often describe me as grounding and easy to talk to — someone who helps them feel safe, seen, and understood. In our work together, I’ll help you untangle what feels heavy, release what no longer serves you, and reconnect with your true self. My passion is helping you move from simply surviving to creating a life that feels grounded, abundant, and aligned with who you really are.

You’ll find a safe, supportive space where you can truly be yourself whenever you are ready to begin.
Change can be scary, but it doesn't have to be. We all face situations throughout life that can make us feel overwhelmed and in need of support, encouragement, strategic planning or goal setting. You are not alone. I provide a safe, warm and friendly environment for growth and healing. You may need support in family life transitions, a parent-child relationship, peers groups, marriage, divorce, social issues, academic challenges or behavioral issues. While we are working together, I take a collaborative approach to help you to achieve your goals and overcome the challenges you're facing in life. I am here to support and empower you on your personal journey. Recognizing when issues in life have become too much to handle alone and seeking assistance is a great first step on your healing journey. It takes a lot of courage to reach out to someone, so I applaud you on taking that first huge step.
I grew up in the Cleveland area and then came to Michigan where I completed my Bachelor's degree at Hope College where I studied social work. While in school I completed a field placement working as a probation officer and spent time in Mental Health and Sobriety Treatment Court. After graduation, my now husband and I moved back to Cleveland where I completed my Masters in Social Work with a specialization in Health Studies at Case Western Reserve University. While in school I completed internships with the Cleveland Clinic in their Adolescent Psychiatric Unit as well as an interdisciplinary internship at Care Alliance.
Following graduation, I worked in admissions for psychiatric and detox services for six years. I then wanted to expand my skill set and pursued a position providing therapy to health care employees as an EAP counselor at a local hospital system. I found that I really love the opportunity to get to know my clients and to walk alongside them on their journey.
Hi, I’m Taylor! Do you struggle with balancing the responsibilities in your life? Do you have trouble completing daily tasks and managing your relationships? Are you feeling overwhelmed day to day? I mix cognitive strategies with solution-focused techniques to promote healthy coping skills, challenge negative thoughts, and create space for change to make life just a little more manageable. Whether you are facing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges or problems with executive functioning (things like focus, task initiation, prioritization, and motivation), I can help guide you to finding ways to tackle your challenges. I would love to team up and help you achieve your goals in therapy!
# Welcome to The Unraveling Room.
For more than 25 years, I have worked in community mental health, crisis intervention, and hospital-based psychiatric practice.
I've learned something along the way:
**People are complicated.**
I'm comfortable there.
Maybe your story includes trauma, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorders, chronic pain, complex medical conditions, or functional seizures (PNES). Maybe you've collected diagnoses, medications, specialists, and years of therapy—and still feel that no one quite understands the whole story.
**You are not a diagnosis.**
And you are not a problem waiting for the right therapeutic technique.
You are a story.
I don't fear your anger. Your intensity. Your contradictions. Your messy history. Or the part of your story you've been afraid to say out loud.
**Bring it.**
I am an active therapist. I listen deeply, but I also ask questions. I notice patterns. I make connections. I challenge when I believe it matters.
We may laugh.
We may work on practical skills.
And sometimes we will sit together with something neither of us can fix.
Medication can be an important tool. Medical care matters. When appropriate, I will collaborate with your psychiatric or medical providers.
But **the relationship matters.**
Twenty-five years of experience cannot replace what happens between two people in a therapy room.
And I am not the therapist for everyone.
If you want someone to mostly listen, I may not be your therapist.
But if you want someone willing to enter the labyrinth with you—to ask difficult questions, follow unexpected turns, and stay when things get uncomfortable—we might fit.
Our lives are patterns woven from countless threads.
Some we chose.
Some were handed to us.
Some held us together.
Some became knots.
**We don't unravel you.**
We unravel the pattern.
**Bring your story. Bring the threads.**
Let's see where they lead.
I earned my doctorate and post-graduate master's degrees in psychology and my master's degree in counseling from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. Professionally, I retired from the United States Air Force as a senior non-commissioned officer, and since retiring, have worked in several different behavioral health settings. In addition to my private practice, I am a graduate-level adjunct professor of counseling psychology.
My name is Crystal Cooper and I am a Child, Youth and Family Therapist.
I am licensed as a LMSW in the state of Texas and a LISW-S and CDCA in the state of Ohio. I obtained my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio and I then went on to obtained my Masters of Social Work at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. I specialize in working with PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorder, Oppositional Deviant Disorder, school concerns, aggressive behavioral issues, and emotional regulation. By providing psychoeducation, skills and psychotherapy to patients struggling with mental illness, emotional disturbance and behavior issues I am able to help empower them to become the best version of themselves. I am experienced in providing individual, group, family therapy, crisis intervention, psychoeducation and collaborative care in the home, community, and the education environment. I utilize TF-CBT, motivational interviewing, person-centered, solution-focused, and mindfulness treatment modalities to build a safe and therapeutic relationship, incorporating parents along the way to produce the best possible outcomes to maintain thought, emotional and behavioral changes. Time has no measure, and I value the opportunity and responsibility of making an impact in the lives of others.
I believe counseling should feel like a real conversation with someone who is genuinely invested in helping you move forward. My approach is supportive, direct, practical, and holistic, looking at the whole person rather than simply focusing on symptoms. A big part of my work involves helping clients identify the beliefs, thought patterns, and experiences that may be shaping how they see themselves, their relationships, and the challenges they face.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-doubt, relationship concerns, and performance-related challenges. I also have a strong interest in working with athletes around pressure, confidence, identity, setbacks, and the mental side of performance. Together, we work toward creating greater self-awareness, developing healthier beliefs and coping strategies, and building the confidence to make meaningful and lasting change,
I am a licensed independent Social Worker who has worked in child welfare and adult crisis emergency services for the past 14 years. I was NASW Region V Social Worker of the year in 2016. Together, we will build a supportive, real partnership dedicated to uncovering your personal strengths. We won't just talk about the problems; we will focus on practical solutions for your daily life so you can start feeling better as quickly as possible.
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here and making this decision to try something new (and maybe a little scary!)
Current availability is mornings/early afternoons at this time (no late afternoon or evening availability).
Therapy can truly be a sacred space. It's a place that can absolutely change your life, if you allow your self the time and space to heal. My focus is to see you as uniquely you: the good, the bad, and the sometimes ugly. I believe we all have inherent value and worth, and I strive to see this in every single person, including you! We may have some changes we need to make and some behaviors we have to part ways with, but through this healing journey, I want you to know how valued and loved you are. To embrace life again like we were meant to. To forgive others and learn to let go. To change what you can and find peace with what you can't.
I operate from a trauma-informed perspective - recognizing how the past has changed the way we see ourselves and those around us. I look at how early life experiences impact our relationships, attachments, emotions, motivation, and joy. I incorporate mindfulness to help with regulation and utilize psychoeducation to understand that what happened in the past can't be changed, but we have the ability to pursue healing and growth regardless.
I am self-pay only for couples sessions ($125/session).
I understand that starting therapy can be scary! I work hard to build a safe, non-judgemental space for my client's to feel seen and supported. Through evidence based practice, I work with my clients to challenge and change unwanted thought patterns and behaviors, specifically focusing on anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and body image disturbances. I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Supervisor designation (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio and have worked in Outpatient private practice, school-based, Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) settings.
Outside of therapy, I love being with my family and our rescue pittie, reading, hiking, and drinking lots of coffee. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio and consider me as your therapist, I hope we can work together towards making positive change.
Do you feel like something is holding you back? Getting in your way? Many people run into barriers- barriers that keep them from achieving their goals, get in the way of their relationships, or keep them from moving on. These barriers can look like anxiety, depression, trauma, communication patterns, etc. This is where I can help!
I have worked with crisis services and trauma survivors my whole career; and trauma can look different for everyone! I enjoy nothing more than helping clients identify the barriers that are holding them back; constructing a plan to break it down and take steps towards doing so.
Many people turn to psychotherapy or counseling for help with anxiety, depression, trauma, and painful relationship patterns, or simply because they feel something is missing from life. At times, we may lack the words to describe our struggles or suffering. By gaining insight into past relationships and experiences, many people begin to make progress toward overcoming these difficulties, becoming more effective in both their work and their personal lives. I am a licensed clinician with 20 years of experience helping individuals achieve a more fulfilling life.
Hi, I'm Richelle. I'm a licensed professional clinical counselor with over ten years of experience helping individuals improve their mental health and quality of life. I have worked in a variety of settings, including online therapy.
Right now, life may feel hard. You’ve faced many challenges that seemed to have come out of nowhere, and you're constantly doing your best to navigate through them. You struggle to set healthy boundaries and often feel overwhelmed. Asking for help isn't always easy. You may say to yourself, “What will people think? I can figure it out on my own.” It’s tough because you usually go at it alone, carrying the load and bearing the burden. However, deep down inside, you know that something isn't quite right and that you could use some support. Does this sound familiar? As someone who has been there before, I understand how tough it can be to take that first step to reach out.
While you may feel like you have to handle everything yourself, these are the times when reaching out for help can give you some direction and help you find your path forward. The truth is, it takes strength and courage to say, “I need help.” And when you do, you'll find that you have the inner strengths and abilities to make meaningful change in your life. Together, we can work to discover those strengths and create a path forward that's tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Greetings! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) and have worked with offenders, anger management clients, couples, teens and adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety and depression. Through a strengths based approach, my clients learn more about themselves thus improving self-confidence, communication, mood and overall outlook on life. I love serving my teen and couples clients via the Gallup strengths test. This test helps individuals understand where their energy is highest and what they value most. It's not about "strengths", but values. I believe one of the best things we can do for ourselves is take the time to truly understand ourselves as this helps us learn to communicate effectively, be productive, overcome procrastination and more. This is one tool of many I enjoy using to help my clients.

Welcome! I am a Licensed Independent Social Work based in Ohio. I received my Masters degree from The Ohio State University and have been practicing for 3 years. I help children, adolescents, young adults, and adults identify current stressors and how to better manage difficult situations. I am passionate about helping people find self-confidence and motivation to achieve their goals.
You do not have to face your struggles without hope. If you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, shame, or relationship challenges, I believe healing can begin when you have a safe place to be honest and reconnect with your faith. I am a clinical mental health counselor who sees counseling as a calling and ministry, not simply a career. I have worked with adolescents, adults, couples and families in addiction treatment, private practice, community agencies, and correctional settings, giving me experience supporting people through some of life’s most difficult seasons.
My name is Jeffrey, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan, and a Licensed Social Worker and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. I have also been an ordained Lutheran pastor since 1989. My professional career began as an Associate Pastor in a Lutheran church in northwest Ohio, where I focused on youth ministry, Christian Education, and pastoral counseling. I entered Social Work in 1995 when I began work as a Family Worker in a residential facility for hard to place juvenile offenders, and then worked in a few outpatient counseling agencies providing mental health and substance use disorder services. I have experience working with people of all ages on general mental health issues, such as managing depression and anxiety, and have specialized in the areas of PTSD recovery and domestic violence and sexual abuse victims and offenders. Throughout my counseling career, I have maintained activity in ministry. I was trained in Clinical Pastoral Counseling and also have had training as a Spiritual Director.
My counseling approach is generally non-directive, using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing in a Solution Focused, Client Centered frame work. I can incorporate spirituality as much or as little as the client desires, from not referencing spirituality at all to fully engaging the spiritual dimension of life. As a caring, empathetic listener, people find it easy to talk with me and be open about what needs attention in their lives.
I look forward to working with you!
Transformation! Therapy changed my life many years ago. which motivated me to help others do the same. For 28 years, I've had the honor of engaging with people to heal from emotional pain and ineffective patterns that keep them from living the life they long for.
My approach is genuine, caring and respectful to clients. You'll be accepted and we'll start right where you are and with your story. My interventions are based on clinical evidence, and you can read about the proven methods I use below. However, because of my experience as a client, I know it takes a real connection and genuine kindness to make it all work.
I am a dedicated therapist who brings a compassionate, steady, and deeply human approach to the work I do. My clinical practice is shaped not only by years of professional experience, but also by my personal journey as a mother and wife navigating the complex realities of children facing serious health challenges. These experiences have strengthened my empathy, broadened my understanding of resilience, and deepened my commitment to supporting individuals through their most difficult moments.
I specialize in telehealth therapy, providing accessible, high‑quality care for a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions. In every session, my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non‑judgmental space where you can explore your emotions, understand your patterns, and feel genuinely heard.
My mission is to help individuals address life’s challenges with clarity and confidence, cultivate resilience, and move toward holistic healing. Whether you’re seeking relief, growth, or a renewed sense of balance, I am here to walk alongside you as you build the tools, insight, and strength needed to move forward.
Hi, I’m Ashley therapist, animal lover, creative soul, and lifelong daydreamer. I bring a warm and down-to-earth approach to my work, and I believe that connection, curiosity, and authenticity are at the heart of healing.
When I’m not in session, you can usually find me lost in a good book especially fantasy, romantasy, or dark romance (I’m a proud BookTok girly). Some of my favorite reads have come straight from client recommendations. I always love hearing what’s on your bookshelf.
I’m also a big fan of all things crafty. Paper crafting is my go-to especially junk journals and mini albums but I’ve dabbled in wreaths, t-shirts, and tumblers. My creativity also spills into my love of music, which spans from Sleep Token to George Strait to Eminem. I’m always up for discovering new bands or catching a local show.
On slower days, I love wandering through antique stores and thrift shops. Most of my home is decorated with pieces that have a story either found secondhand or passed down through family. I find comfort in giving old things new life.
Animals have always been a grounding force in my world. I’ve been riding horses since I was four, and my heart horse, Kirby, is my trail buddy and snack-sharing best friend (she’s a big fan of applesauce and cupcakes). My two dogs, Oliver and Dottie, are certified therapy dogs who’ve joined me in visits to hospices, hospitals, nursing homes, and children’s reading programs. Together, Kirby, Oliver, and Dottie inspired the name Free to Wander Counseling, a reflection of my belief that healing often begins when we allow ourselves to explore, play, and connect in gentle, open-hearted ways.
Wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome here just as you are.
You can also book with me directly through my website: www.lydiancounseling.com.
As Co-Owner and Chief Clinical Officer of Lydian Counseling & Consultation, LLC, located in the Columbus, OH Short North Arts District, I bring a direct, honest approach to therapy grounded in the belief that there is no one-size-fits-all path to healing. I specialize in treating a variety of mental health concerns and problematic substance use and addiction for clients ages 13 and up. No matter what brings you in, I tailor care around your stated goals rather than a predetermined template. My style is candid and straightforward; I'll be honest with you about what I'm observing, but I won't tell you what to do. You're the expert on your own life, and my job is to help you get on a clearer path that fits you. I hold a Bachelor's in Social Work from The Ohio State University and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton, and I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio with an active LPCC license in California as well. I completed an Addiction Medicine fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in Daly City, CA. I'm also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, which informs how I approach the connection between past experiences and present struggles. If you're looking for a therapist who will meet you where you are, tell it to you straight, and help you find your way forward, I'd welcome the chance to work with you.
I’m Stephanie, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with 11 years of experience. I offer virtual therapy to adults across Ohio, so you can meet with me from the comfort of your own space. I also hold a certification in Perinatal Mental Health, and I’m glad to support you through pregnancy and postpartum.
My practice is a calm, judgment-free space where you can say what’s really on your mind, even if you’re not sure how to put it into words yet. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. We’ll go at your pace and focus on what matters most to you.

I am an art therapist and LPCC-S (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Supervisor). I have been working in the mental health and addiction world for over 20 years. I have had the pleasure of joining forces with children from the age of 3, to children the age of 87. I come from a family that has a long line of veterans and first responders. I have a strong passion for supporting our veterans and first responders but am open to partnering with anyone wanting assistance in life.
I welcome any in person sessions as I am very much an empath and thrive when I can feel each person’s emotions in person. I own my own practice, Freedom Wellness Center LLC, in Canal Fulton, Ohio. The link to my website is at the bottom of this page.
If you have Medicaid insurance, you must contact me first to schedule an appointment with me. I have had a high amount of people not showing for their appointments and had to put a hold on all new Medicaid referrals until I can speak to you in person first to ensure you are serious about attending your appointments.

My approach is collaborative and solution-focused — I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and together we’ll identify practical steps to help you reach your goals. Whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, or personal growth, my goal is to help you find clarity, resilience, and a sense of balance.
Hi there! I'm Ross (he/him), and I'm so happy you are making the steps to focus on your mental health. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy should feel like a safe, affirming space where you can be your authentic self without judgement. Because of this I focus primarily on using affirmative therapy as my main modality.
I specialize in working with young adults and adults, especially those in the LGBTQIA+ community, who may be navigating identity, relationships, anxiety, or life transitions. I also have experience with assisting those experiencing burnout whether from caregiving, work, or from other aspects of life!
My approach is person-centered and strengths-based, which means I'll meet you where you are, honor your experiences, and support you in building the confidence and tools you need to thrive. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, identity development, relationships, or navigating life in general I'd be happy to support you and walk with you through that journey.
I know it can be overwhelming to start therapy, but you don't have to go through this alone and I'd be honored to support you through those challenging times. Together, we'll focus on your strengths, explore what's meaningful to you, and help you move forward feeling more grounded, empowered, and understood.

I consider myself the Dolly Parton of mental wellness: all humans are welcome, being clear is kind, and, like Dolly, sometimes we all need a little help navigating life from 9-to-5. I provide therapy in Ohio and Kentucky, and I also offer holistic wellness coaching and integrative psychedelic support to help you explore growth from multiple angles. In our sessions, I tailor the process to fit you—addressing experiences, patterns, or distortions that might leave your cup of ambition dry. With a transparent, solution-focused approach, we’ll work together to create meaningful, lasting change that goes beyond our 50 minutes.

Hello! I am Susan Andersen, MSW, LISW and welcome to my profile. I have been a social worker for 26+ years and enjoy working with people of all ages to help find techniques, interventions and solutions to grow emotionally and tackle barriers and navigate through the tough parts of life. I 100% believe that this is a team approach to treatment and the work done in the therapeutic environment is directed by the individual.
If I could sit beside my younger self and tell her one thing, I would say, “You are not broken. You are responding to what you’ve been through. Be gentle with yourself. One day, the healing you are fighting for will become someone else’s hope.”
Hi, I’m Cherita Griffin, MS-LPCC-S (Ohio), LPC (Georgia), NCC, CYT, SEL-F, C-DBT, CMIP, ADHD-CCSP. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Endorsement, and for more than 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through some of life’s most difficult seasons.
My work is deeply personal to me because I understand that healing is more than a clinical process, it’s human. It’s learning to feel safe again. It’s finding your voice. It’s setting boundaries without guilt, giving yourself permission to rest, and learning that you don’t have to keep surviving when you are ready to begin living.
I specialize in supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck, anxious, disconnected, or simply tired of carrying everything on their own.
Together, we gently uncover what hurts, make sense of what you’ve experienced, and begin rebuilding from a place of compassion rather than shame. I integrate CBT, DBT, mindfulness, social-emotional learning, and holistic, somatic-informed practices to support the whole person, mind, body, and spirit.
**Here, you don’t have to have it all together.
You don’t have to carry everything alone.
You can finally exhale.**
Healing isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about finding your way back to yourself—the parts of you that life may have taught you to silence, shrink, or leave behind.
You are worthy of healing.
You are worthy of peace.
And you don’t have to walk toward it alone.
