New to Grow
I serve high-achieving women, leaders, executives, helping professionals, ministry leaders, and couples who are facing anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship concerns, life transitions, and the pressures that often accompany leadership and caregiving roles. Many of my clients are accustomed to being strong for others but need a space to process challenges, explore patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and develop healthier ways of coping and thriving. Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, strengthening relationships, managing stress effectively, and creating meaningful, lasting change that aligns with their values, goals, and overall well-being. With more than 22 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and leaders. My background spans behavioral health, leadership development, trauma-informed care, organizational leadership, and wellness. Additionally, I serve in behavioral health leadership and am pursuing a Doctor of Strategic Leadership degree. I can relate to the unique pressures experienced by high-achieving professionals, executives, helping professionals, ministry leaders, and women navigating complex personal and professional demands. I aim to provide a supportive, collaborative space where you can gain insight, and create sustainable change.
Taking the first step toward therapy can bring up a mix of emotions. You may feel hopeful, relieved, nervous, uncertain, or all of the above. Whatever you're feeling, know that it's completely normal. Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a foundation of trust. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and supported as you share your story and what has led you to seek counseling at this point in your life. Whether you're navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, leadership pressures, or simply feeling stuck, our first conversation will focus on understanding your experiences, concerns, strengths, and goals. The initial session is primarily a time for information gathering and connection. I'll ask questions to better understand: What brought you to counseling at this time The challenges or concerns you're currently facing Previous counseling or support experiences Your personal, family, spiritual, and social supports What you hope will be different as a result of therapy For couples, we'll also discuss the concerns bringing you to counseling, the strengths within your relationship, and what each person hopes to gain from the process. We'll use some time identifying goals for our work together. You do not need to have everything figured out before you begin. Many clients come to therapy knowing something needs to change but aren't yet sure exactly what that looks like. That's part of the process, and we'll work together to gain clarity along the way. You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions about counseling, my approach, confidentiality, scheduling, or anything else that will help you feel informed and comfortable moving forward. I view therapy as a collaborative process. Your voice, experiences, values, and goals matter. Together, we'll create a plan that supports your growth, healing, and overall well-being. Before the session ends, we'll discuss next steps and determine whether continuing to work together feels like a good fit. If so, we'll develop a plan for ongoing sessions that aligns with your goals and the outcomes you hope to achieve. You do not have to navigate life's challenges alone. Counseling provides a space to pause, process, heal, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.
One of the greatest strengths I bring to counseling is the combination of clinical expertise, leadership experience, and real-world understanding of the challenges many high-achieving women and leaders face. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor (LISW-S) and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor Clinical Supervisor (LICDC-CS), I have spent more than 20 years supporting individuals, families, professionals, and leaders through seasons of growth, stress, transition, recovery, and transformation. In addition to my clinical work, I have served in executive leadership roles within behavioral health organizations, led large teams, managed complex systems, and supported professionals responsible for caring for others. Because of these experiences, I understand that burnout, anxiety, depression, relationship strain, and life transitions often affect people who appear successful on the outside while quietly carrying significant responsibilities and pressures behind the scenes. My primary focus is working with women, professionals, executives, caregivers, and ministry leaders who are navigating leadership transitions, stress, burnout, high-functioning anxiety, depression, life adjustments, and challenges related to balancing personal well-being with the demands of work, family, faith, and service to others. Clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to create a space that feels both supportive and practical. While counseling provides room to process emotions and experiences, I also help clients develop greater self-awareness, identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen coping skills, and create realistic strategies that support lasting change. My goal is not simply to help you feel better temporarily, but to help you build the tools and resilience needed to thrive long term. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and tailored to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based practices with a holistic understanding of emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual well-being. For clients who desire it, I can also incorporate faith-based perspectives into our work together. Most importantly, I believe every person has strengths, wisdom, and untapped capacity for growth, even when life feels overwhelming. My role is to help you identify those strengths, gain clarity about where you are, and support you as you move toward the life, relationships, and well-being you desire.
I specialize in working with high-achieving women, professionals, executives, helping professionals, ministry leaders, and couples who are navigating burnout, anxiety, depression, leadership stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are successful in their careers and responsibilities yet find themselves feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or struggling to maintain balance between work, relationships, faith, and personal well-being. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can gain insight, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen resilience, improve communication and relationships, and create sustainable patterns that support both personal fulfillment and professional success. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with a holistic understanding of emotional, relational, spiritual, and psychological wellness.
