Hello! I'm Stephanie Burbridge, and I'm so glad you're here. I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a certification in Perinatal Mental Health who specializes in supporting adults through anxiety, pregnancy/postpartum mental health concerns, depression, and major life transitions, such as retirement. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, I strive to create a safe space where you feel truly heard and supported. My goal is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and create meaningful changes that lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is about getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, background, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask questions to help clarify your goals and offer space for you to share at your own pace. There’s no pressure to have all the answers right away—this is a time to begin building trust and finding comfort in the therapeutic relationship. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer picture of what you want to focus on and how I can support you moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often tell me they feel genuinely seen and heard in our work together. I provide a calm, affirming space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. My strengths lie in helping clients identify and reframe unhelpful thinking patterns, gain insight into their behaviors, and develop practical strategies to manage symptoms and create change. I draw from evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches, while tailoring sessions to fit your individual needs and goals. I’m deeply committed to your progress, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you in your journey toward greater clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, having difficulty navigating pregnancy/postpartum mental health concerns, struggling with depression, or facing difficult life transitions, such as retirement. Many of my clients feel stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about their next steps. They’re looking for a therapist who is warm, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental—someone who can help them understand what’s not working, develop new coping strategies, and build a more balanced, fulfilling life. Whether you're seeking to manage stress, improve emotional regulation, or make sense of life’s challenges, I’ll meet you where you are with respect and empathy, and work collaboratively with you to move toward your goals.
