(they/them)
I focus my practice on LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent humans experiencing trauma and PTSD, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, and minority stress to develop greater creativity, joy, and fulfillment in their unique life. Artists, queers, outsiders, and those exploring their identities are centered in my practice. I believe the point of life is to learn and grow through the challenges while becoming more fully yourself.
In our first session you can expect an affirming therapeutic presence and friendly approach to getting to know one another. We will explore what brings you to therapy at this time, what you hope to get from therapy, what has or has not been helpful in past therapy experiences, and respond to your questions about moving forward with our therapeutic relationship.
I offer a trauma responsive approach to therapy centering the question “What happened to you?” over the idea that there is something inherently wrong or disordered about you. As an artist, I enjoy incorporating creativity into my therapeutic approach and I especially enjoy tailoring my approach for each individual client.
I am best positioned to serve adult clients undergoing life transitions or seeking to enhance joy, creativity, and fulfillment in their lives while navigating the realities of our troubled world. You may be dealing with trauma, grief, struggles with mood, self acceptance, family acceptance, minor stress, neurodivergence or some combination of these experiences. You may be interested in EMDR alone or along side talk based and somatic approaches to therapy.
I identify as
EMDR
I completed my original training in EMDR in 2018 and have been using this modality with individual clients to resolve barriers resulting from difficult experiences earlier in life.

As a clinical social worker I am trained to approach all interactions and interventions from the strenghts perspective which means my client and I work together to leverage my client's existing skills and resources in the healing process.
Trauma Informed Care
I received certification in trauma responsive care with the Tri-State Trauma network and have practiced in outpatient, community, and inpatient settings.
Psychodynamic
I trained in psychodynamic therapy through clinical internships during graduate school and continuing on into my career as a psychotherapist.
