LISW (she/her)8 years of experience

Therapy shouldn’t feel like another high-pressure task on your overflowing to-do list. In my practice as a licensed therapist, I support folks moving through burnout, anxiety, and big life transitions within a welcoming, neuroaffirming space. Rather than trying to "fix" who you are, my approach draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and compassionate curiosity to help you work with your mind's natural rhythms and strengths, not against them. Together, we figure out practical ways to navigate daily life in an environment that is gentle, judgment-free, and always open to a little humor when you need it most.

First session

In our first session, our main goal is simply to get to know each other and clarify the primary concerns, symptoms, or stressors that led you to schedule an appointment. You can expect me to ask a wide range of questions spanning various areas of your past and present—think of it as going a mile wide and an inch deep. You are always in complete control of the pacing: if there is any topic you’d rather skip or simply aren't ready to get into yet, we move right on. Before we wrap up, we will outline a clear picture of what our next few sessions could look like so you can decide if this partnership feels like the right fit for you. Most of all, I hope you walk away feeling genuinely heard, unburdened, and holding a renewed sense of hope that change really is possible.

Strengths

My greatest strength is helping people shift from harsh self-criticism toward nonjudgmental curiosity. Together, we treat therapy as a collaborative workshop where we untangle challenges, build skills to handle difficult thoughts and feelings so they have less power over you, and design practical experiments to test out in daily life. Did an experiment not go as planned? Perfect—that’s just useful information pointing us toward what actually works. By taking failure completely off the table, we work together to help you become the person you want to be and build a life that genuinely feels like your own, at a pace that fits.

Ideal clients

If you are a thoughtful, capable person currently running on fumes, this space is for you. From the outside, you might seem to have it all together, but beneath the surface, you’re dealing with chronic anxiety, sensory overload, or the quiet exhaustion of keeping up with unrealistic standards. You may be in the middle of a big life transition or navigating late-diagnosed neurodivergence, tired of one-size-fits-all advice that never seems to work. You aren’t here to passively talk in circles every week. You’re looking for an honest, collaborative partnership: a space where you can be yourself, bring both your deep reflections and your sense of humor, and leave each session with realistic tools you can actually use to build a meaningful, sustainable life on your own terms.

Treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or exhausted from constantly battling your own mind, I want you to know you aren’t alone. In our sessions, I use an approach called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). While it sounds clinical, the heart of it is incredibly human: it’s about learning to drop the struggle with difficult thoughts and feelings so you can put your energy toward building a life you actually care about. Instead of trying to force you to just "think positively" or "fix" parts of yourself, we take a different path. If you are wrestling with anxiety, we work on making peace with the "what-ifs" so you can do the things you love even when worry decides to tag along. For folks navigating ADHD, my practice is deeply neuroaffirming. This means we will never try to force your unique brain into a neurotypical mold. Instead, we work with your brain's natural wiring to find strategies that actually make sense for you, replacing lifelong shame with genuine self-compassion. If you are going through a messy life transition or hitting the wall of burnout, we use ACT to help you reconnect with your core values—what truly matters to you deep down—and use them as a compass for your next steps. And if you are struggling with low self-esteem, we will practice stepping back from that harsh inner critic. Together, we will create a space where you can finally treat yourself with kindness and grace.
