Hi! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and Ohio. I received my Masters from Capella University and have been practicing for several years. I support and assist clients who want to make a positive difference in their lives by drawing on my clinical experience, compassion, and empathy. I create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment for my clients to listen and develop skills to effectively manage symptoms in order to improve everyday functioning.
In the first session together, we’ll start with introductions, then discuss the specific challenges that brought you to therapy. This will help to collaboratively create goals that we can work towards in therapy.
I am a dedicated and compassionate therapist with strong counseling abilities. I support and assist those who want to make a positive difference in their lives by drawing on my clinical experience, compassion, and empathy.
I love to work with children, teens, and young adults.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I've been utilizing CBT in my practice for several years, which has proven highly beneficial in assisting numerous clients in confronting persistent thoughts and effectively managing their symptoms. Through CBT, we will work together to understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another, and leverage this insight to modify your thought patterns.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I've been integrating Person-Centered in my practice, creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment for my clients to listen and develop skills that will empower them to effectively manage symptoms, improving everyday functioning.
EMDR
I am an EMDRIA Approved EMDR therapist. I view EMDR as a way to help the brain complete the natural process of healing that was interrupted by a traumatic event. When a memory is traumatic, the brain stores it incorrectly, complete with the original sights, sounds, feelings, and body sensations, leading to triggers. EMDR does not erase the memory; instead, it helps the brain digest it so it is filed away as a normal, less distressing memory of something that happened in the past.

I'm excited to see where this goes. She was very supportive. I chose her because I saw a note that she was "warm" and it was absolutely true.
