In our first session together, here's what you can expect
I specialize in working with people ready for deep therapy to find answers and healing for the depression, trauma, low self esteem, and anxiety they have been living with. In our first session, you can expect a calm, collaborative conversation focused on understanding what’s bringing you in and what you hope will feel different in your life. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe, with no pressure to “perform” or share more than you’re ready for. I’ll help you begin making sense of your concerns with curiosity and compassion, while we start identifying what support will be most helpful moving forward. Most clients leave the first session feeling understood, less alone, and clearer about next steps. You don’t need to have the right words. We'll figure things out together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What stands out about my work is a deep respect for the intelligence of your inner world, and especially the parts of you that feel stuck, overwhelmed, or are giving up hope. Using an Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach, I help you understand persistent patterns, emotional blocks, and self-sabotaging behaviors as meaningful attempts to cope or survive rather than simply problems to eliminate. This often allows movement where other therapies or attempts at change have stalled, because instead of trying to force you to change, we work with the internal dynamics that have been holding things in place, in order to create shifts that are both relieving and lasting.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I am a trained IFS therapist with five years of experience using IFS to guide clients toward lasting healing and change. I understand emotional struggles as arising from different “parts” of us that developed to protect, survive, and adapt. I help clients build a compassionate, grounded relationship with these inner parts so that painful, stuck patterns can soften and lasting change can emerge. This approach is deeply respectful, affirming, and often brings a sense of clarity, self-trust, and emotional freedom that feels both relieving and empowering.
