About me

At different points in our lives, we may encounter challenges that feel overwhelming. Often, the hardest step is simply reaching out for help. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio, credentialed by the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University (2022) and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University (2020). I currently serve as Secretary on the Board for the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities of Ohio and was honored to be the 2022–2023 Emerging Leader for the Ohio Association for Specialists in Group Work.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I believe that every person has the capacity to make meaningful changes, leading to a more authentic and fulfilling life. Because each person’s journey is unique, my goal is to work collaboratively with you in a safe, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and supportive space. Together, we will explore your experiences, uncover your inner strengths, and empower you to achieve your goals and reach your full potential.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe one of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and accepted. Many of the clients I’ve worked with have shared that they felt comfortable opening up with me early in the therapeutic process, which helps build a strong foundation for meaningful work together. I’m attentive to verbal and non-verbal cues and strive to meet clients where they are emotionally, which fosters trust and allows for deeper exploration of difficult topics. I see therapy as a collaborative process, and this strength supports my commitment to being both a compassionate listener and an active guide when needed
