Welcome! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Pennsylvania. I have my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have been practicing for 4 years. I am passionate about providing care based on authenticity, openness and compassion. I love working with individuals who are struggling with depression/anxiety, self-worth issues, trauma, and addiction. I also provide Christian counseling, incorporating biblical principles and scripture.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will get to know one another. We will discuss current challenges and possible goals. If time allows, we will also explore past history, family dynamics, and social influences.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel called to help others see their worth and value, regardless of their past. When we work together, I will treat you with respect and dignity, and advocate for you and with you. Your voice matters. You matter. I believe in skill-based work and can include these in treatment, as needed. But I also believe in the power of acceptance, forgiveness, and purpose as powerful ingredients in the healing journey.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with people who may not necessarily know their strengths and abilities that can help to overcome challenges and difficulties. My clients recognize the need for acceptance, forgiveness, and compassion during our time together. It's okay to come broken and hurting, too. Life is messy and sometimes we need someone who can just sit with us, hear us, and see us.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

I believe we all have inherent talents and abilities within ourselves that we can utilize in daily life. My hope is that our time together will highlight these abilities and find ways of letting these skills positively impact all of our decisions and choices.

Christian Counseling

Finding strength and joy in faith in Christ can direct our daily life, how we view others, and how we view ourselves. I'm able to include Christian concepts, biblical principles, and scripture, whenever requested.

Trauma Informed Care

I approach every session recognizing there is pain and trauma from many of our backgrounds. Allowing space for us to process how this impacts our life, relationships, and ability to give and receive love is a main component of all of my sessions.
