New to Grow
I love to help heal from Trauma! Hi I am Danelle German, MSW, LISW, Licdc Gambp and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a gambling endorsement. I currently hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and works with individuals of all ages, specializing in various trauma, substance use, behavioral addictions, and co-occurring mental health concerns. I work with all ages starting with 3+. I am very passionate about strengthening family systems, supporting healthy child development, and helping clients build stability and resilience through evidence-based, trauma-informed care and EMDR I help individuals of all ages and families heal from trauma, substance use, gambling, and co-occurring mental health concerns. Using evidence-based, trauma-informed care and EMDR, she strengthens family systems, supports healthy child development, and empowers clients to build resilience, stability, and lasting change through empowerment. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck or unsure where to turn, you’re not alone. Reaching out can feel vulnerable and I want you to know that your story matters and I want to help. Alot of individuals I work with are navigating trauma, substance use, relationship challenges, or life transitions. It’s common to feel exhausted from trying to manage everything.
I provide total time and self-determination with my client. I go at your pace to build rapport so you have a trusting environment and know what happens. I use EMDR, trauma informed care, dialectical behavioral therapy just to name a few. I am here to help you meet and maximize your potential whatever that looks like for you.
Choosing a therapist is a big step, and I want you to feel comfortable, respected, and truly heard from the very beginning. I believe therapy works best when it moves at your pace, creating a safe and trusting space where you can be open, grow, and feel supported every step of the way. My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I use evidence-based practices like EMDR, trauma-informed care, and dialectical behavioral therapy, but more importantly, I focus on you—your story, your goals, and what healing looks like in your life. I value honesty and real connection, which means I will show up authentically with you. Sometimes that includes having hard conversations or gently challenging you, because growth doesn’t happen by staying stuck—but you’ll never go through that alone. I believe deeply in your autonomy, and I’m here to support you in becoming the version of yourself that you want to be. Clients often describe me as laid-back, energetic, and easy to talk to, while also being calm and grounded when it matters most. I bring both compassion and structure into sessions, creating a balance between feeling supported and making real progress. I’ve worked in residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings with individuals ages three and up, and across a wide range of life challenges. I also bring a personal understanding of how powerful healing can be, and I’m passionate about helping others experience that same transformation. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to help you build a life that feels meaningful, fulfilling, and aligned with who you truly are.
I love working with individuals who have gone through traumatic experiences and don’t feel there worthy of moving forward in their lives. I utilize EMDR DBT and trauma focus cognitive behavioral therapy to help these individuals maximize full potential in life to build a better quality of their lives. I don’t care about age I don’t care about gender. I don’t care if I’m working with couples or whole families, I just wanna be able to empower my clients that would be my ideal client
EMDR
I Can utilize the EMDR practice to help individuals with trauma or depression and anxiety, overcome some barriers, using bilateral stimulation, and incorporating the steps of EMDR to build resiliency and overcome barriers that have impaired every day functioning.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
We start with the various coping skills and understanding, emotion, regulation versus distress tolerance, and going further into interpersonal effectiveness using the various coping skills needed to help individuals decide what makes their life worth living and empower them while making healthy decisions and increase awareness of risky behaviors that could increase the symptoms they are trying to improve upon.
Child Parent Psychotherapy
I love helping clients work with their family systems, especially their children to understand the realm of mental health and or addiction. I utilize a language that incorporates both the child and the parent to come together using varieties of interventions, such as games and problem-solving tactics to help build rapport, trust and common ground to be able to communicate about hard topics.
Trauma-Focused CBT
Trauma focus cognitive behavioral therapy helps the individual take their pain and turn it to power. We will use a variety of intervention, such as narrative, therapy, behavioral activation, and challenging those tough male, adaptive, core beliefs that make me feel like I’m not enough in order to empower me and push me towards that motivating factor that will help me have a better quality of life in the future.
