Hi! I am Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC III) based in Ohio. I received my Master from Walden University in Minneapolis and have been practicing for 13 years. I want to help adults find a more lasting solution beyond their immediate mental health concerns. I understand that pain in life is unavoidable and as your therapist, I want to help you work toward a healing solution and bring out the best in you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will have a brief introduction, then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. Together, we will develop a comprehensive plan so that you can get the tools, support, and knowledge you need to help you reach your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with adults for the past 13 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I take a non-authoritative approach that allows clients to take more of a lead in sessions such that, in the process, they discover their own solutions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

A solutions-oriented form of talk therapy to rests on the idea that thoughts and perceptions influence behavior.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

An action-oriented approach to psychotherapy that stems from traditional behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. Clients will learn to stop avoiding, denying, and struggling with their inner emotions and, instead, accept that these deeper feelings are appropriate responses to certain situations that should not prevent them from moving forward in their lives.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

A structured program of psychotherapy with a strong educational component designed to provide skills for managing intense emotions and negotiating social relationships.

Psychoanalytic

A form of in-depth talk therapy that aims to bring unconscious or deeply buried thoughts and feelings to the conscious mind so that repressed experiences and emotions, often from childhood, can be brought to the surface and examined.
