Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in North Carolina. I am licensed in both NC and CA. I received my Masters from the University of Southern California. I have been practicing for 9 years with 16 years experience in the mental health field. I help young adults, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, self-esteem challenges, and simply the ups and downs of life.
I bring both professional and personal experience to my work as a therapist. Having a Bipolar 1 diagnosis has given me a unique perspective on the challenges of navigating the institutional and often stigmatized aspects of mental health and the impact on day-to-day life. This lived experience allows me to approach therapy with empathy, a genuine curiosity and appreciation for each client’s journey, while also emphasizing overall holistic living for optimal wellness of mind and body.
Professionally, I’ve worked in psychiatric residential treatment, addiction medicine, youth detention and private practice settings. These experiences have strengthened my ability to support clients through a wide range of concerns from mild to severe forms of mental health challenges and their impact on daily living.
I integrate a lot of somatic and sensory-based tools focusing on emotion and nervous system regulation, including brainspotting, drumming, sound therapy, aromatherapy, meditation techniques and other mindfulness tools, along with an emphasis on nature therapy, nutrition in relation to mental health and sleep hygiene.
Alongside these approaches, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to examine and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen emotion regulation, and collaborate with clients to develop the most applicable coping strategies in those areas.
I have extensive experience supporting clients with addictions, complex PTSD/trauma history, ADHD, BPD, bipolar and schizophrenia, among others.

Are you tired of the non-stop chatter in your head judging every move you make? Is the constant loop of negative thinking making you feel like you are not good enough? No matter how many times you try to talk yourself out of this—you just can't seem to shake it. You are doing all the things you’ve been told to do and yet something is missing. You feel alone. You feel misunderstood. You feel anxious. You turn to food, alcohol, Netflix, or whatever else that can make these feelings go away. You promise yourself that next week will be different. You will start the new diet or the new program, you will commit to being a new you.
What if there is another way? I work with women to get this cycle can end. There can be freedom from the despair caused by believing that you are not good enough. You want a deeper connection in your relationships. You want more joy in your life. You want less stress and worry. I can help you get there. There is a different path.

I’m a Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 15 years of experience in the field, grounded in a deep commitment to community, connection, and culturally responsive care. I love to read, continue learning, and spend meaningful time with my family, especially when it involves sharing a good meal with the people I love. These moments of presence and togetherness keep me grounded and inform how I show up in my work.
I have spent most of my career working with adolescents, while also supporting young adults and couples across different stages of life. My practice has been shaped by work in schools, clinics, hospitals, community organizations, and through community organizing. Across all of these spaces, my focus has remained the same: creating environments rooted in safety, compassion, and respect.
As a therapist, I strive to offer a calm, non-judgmental, and affirming space where clients can honor their experiences, reclaim their stories, and engage in healing that feels personal, meaningful, and deeply connected to their culture and community.

Hi my name is Michael and I am very excited to be a part of your Therapy journey! I have a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and I have worked in several treatment facilities including a Nonprofit Women and family health center, an Addiction treatment facility, and a Digital health center for children and families. I will do everything in my power to help you find what you need and begin to heal and grow.
Nervous system regulation is key to healing from trauma. My primary tool for helping clients with trauma is ImTT or Image Transformation Therapy. ImTT uses imagery and the breath to release triggers and heal the nervous system. It does so in a safe and gentle way. When triggers are released you can make choices based on what's happening now not a threat from the past. Mindfulness, somatic practices and other self-care tools are valuable to support the work. Together these things help heal and reset the nervous system. The ability to calm an activated nervous system is one of the most valuable skills for good mental health.
If this speaks to you reach out and schedule a time to meet. I would love to work with you.

I’m a first-generation, Vietnamese, transgender, and queer therapist who brings both professional training and lived experience to the work. My approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story.
In my practice, I often draw from EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process trauma and experiences in a way that feels restorative. EMDR supports the brain’s natural healing by using bilateral stimulation—like eye or auditory movements —to reprocess memories and reduce their emotional intensity.
I also use Narrative Therapy, which invites clients to explore the stories they’ve been told or have come to believe about themselves. Together, we uncover how those stories were shaped—by culture, relationships, systems, or past experiences—and work toward reclaiming narratives that center resilience, agency, and authenticity.
I understand the importance of creating a space where clients feel seen, affirmed, and safe to show up as their full selves. Whether you’re navigating trauma, identity exploration, or simply seeking to reconnect with yourself, I’m here support you in that process with care, collaboration, and accountability.
Are you looking for a mental health letter for gender-affirming surgery? I write those! Feel free to reach out for short-term therapy services to complete the letter assessment process with me.
My practice uses old fashioned, human-generated tools and information methodically accumulated over years of community and evidenced based research. I do not use AI programs at any point in the therapeutic process.
*I am not currently accepting family, couples, or group counseling inquiries*
*My evening appointment spots are full*

Hi and thanks for stopping by! My name is Diana and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I've been a social worker/therapist for over a decade and feel lucky and proud to be able to do what I get to do, which is to help and support people. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages, but my work has primarily been with the adult population. My treatment has focused on trauma, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation and mood management.
Navigating life’s challenges can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. As your therapist, my mission is to create a safe, supportive, and collaborative space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful growth, healing, and the tools to navigate life with confidence and resilience.
I’m Michelle, and I am so glad you’re taking this brave step on your wellness journey. Life is full of ups and downs, and sometimes we encounter obstacles that leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or even disconnected from who we are. These challenges might stem from past trauma, ongoing stress, or life transitions that feel too big to manage alone. My passion is walking alongside my clients to help them reconnect with their strengths, rediscover their self-worth, and build a path toward a more fulfilling and joyful life.
I’m a trauma-informed therapist who helps adults heal from anxiety, trauma, burnout, and painful relationship patterns using EMDR therapy and a mind-body approach. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck in cycles of self-doubt, overwhelm, or disconnection, appearing “fine” on the outside while feeling anything but on the inside. My goal is to create a safe, grounding space where you can explore what’s beneath the surface, release what’s been weighing you down, and reconnect with the most authentic version of yourself.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is at the heart of my work. It’s an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories so they no longer carry the same emotional intensity. Through gentle bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping), the mind can integrate painful experiences in a more adaptive way. Clients often describe EMDR as life-changing- it allows healing to occur on a deeper, neurological level, often when talk therapy alone hasn’t been enough. My style is collaborative, intuitive, and compassionate. I’ll meet you exactly where you are, while gently challenging patterns that no longer serve you. Together, we’ll help you feel safe in your body, clear in your mind, and at peace within yourself.
Hello, my name is Brent, and I am a therapist with over a decade of experience specializing in men's health, trauma, and PTSD. I work with individuals aged 18-64, including veterans, military personnel, law enforcement, and first responders, who are dealing with depression, anxiety, anger, and adjustment issues. My approach is strengths-based and utilizes a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and techniques involving the vagal nerve. These methods empower individuals to navigate challenges, build resilience, and improve their quality of life.
Each of us has our own story and sometimes our experiences leaves us feeling confused, frightened, sad, and often tremendously isolated. I believe therapy can unravel harmful repetitive thought processes and behaviors. Your painful experiences do not have to define you.
My approach to therapy always starts with listening to my client's needs. My methods evolve through constant customization and mutual collaboration. Therapy with me will include exploring aspects of life that are not working well and constructing solutions.
I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, high-functioning depression, trauma, identity concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and first-generation individuals who are balancing multiple cultural, family, and societal expectations while trying to build lives that feel authentic and fulfilling.
I believe meaningful change comes from both insight and action. Therapy can help you better understand your experiences, heal from past wounds, strengthen your relationships, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values and goals.
I am a dedicated clinical social worker with a deep commitment to holistic healing and solution-focused care. With over twenty-five years of experience working with individuals, families and children, I believe that mental health is a journey of growth and self-discovery. My practice is built on the foundation of trust, empathy, and personalized treatment approaches designed to support your unique path to wellness.
Hi! My name is Gabriela Calvert but you can just call me Gaby. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Masters in Social Work from Cal State Fullerton. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology from San Diego State University.
I’ve been practicing therapy since 2017. I tend to use a more holistic method when it comes to healing. Meaning, I believe in eating healthy, going outside, and treating yourself with kindness before I would even consider recommending you a medication or something. But I’m also very scientific. I often refer back to renowned psychological studies to help you understand yourself and people. Most importantly, I strive for a delicate balance between you leading the way to your healing and me making sure you avoid the potholes.
Hi! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Registered Art Therapist based in California. I also have certification in substance use disorders. I tailor treatment to best suit your needs. I understand how hard it can be to make the decision to work through difficulties. My goal is to help clients develop insight into their thinking and behavioral patterns by exploring the root causes of their anxiety, depression, or trauma and identify the underlying issues contributing to their distress. This process of self-discovery can be challenging, but it is also incredibly empowering.

I have helped clients' just like you to make sustainable and permanent life changes, by increasing my client's ability to manage and cope with stress. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story. My job is to provide a space for you to process your feelings while assisting you to feel safe within our teletherapy environment. You are the expert on your life, your personal goals have value and will drive our treatment plan. My ideal patient is focused on personal growth and healing.
All things are interconnected. To feel better, you have to act better. To feel better, you have to think better. To think better, you have to feel better. To act better, you have to think better. To think, feel, and act better, you have to care for your physical health. To care for your physical health, you have to think, feel, and act better. Each has a corresponding effect on the other. However, the aspect of ourselves that we have the most direct control of is what we do, our acting. While we can influence other people, we cannot control other people. A great source of conflict and unhappiness results from our efforts to control others. If you want better relationships, the only thing we can control is what we do, how we choose to relate. We are responsible for what we do. Others are responsible for what they do. Accepting this fundamental reality and thinking, feeling, and acting in accordance with it is how we increase our experience of power, freedom, belonging, meaning and, very importantly, fun.
My professional experience includes over 30 years of post-Master’s clinical work, including leadership experience in foster care, chemical abuse and addiction, inpatient and outpatient mental health services, and crisis intervention, de-escalation, and hospitalization. I am experienced in working with ages three through the elderly. I have worked extensively with youth and families, diverse populations and life issues, providing services in various settings, including family homes, schools, juvenile detention facilities, jails, outpatient clinics, and inpatient psychiatric facilities.

Hi, I’m Marguerite. I earned my Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan and have over 5 years of experience providing therapy to children, families, and adults. I’m a DBT, Somatic, and Trauma-informed therapist based in Los Angeles. I support individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity exploration, and experiencing big emotions and relationship challenges in feeling more grounded, connected, and aligned.
My approach is compassionate, affirming, and collaborative. I integrate DBT skills, somatic therapy, mindfulness, and emotional regulation tools to help you reconnect with your body, build self-trust, joy and navigate stress and relationships more effectively.
As a bilingual English and Spanish speaking therapist who identifies as Black and Afro-Latina, I honor the ways culture, identity, and life experiences shape emotional well-being. Together, we create a space for meaningful healing, growth, and lasting change.
Psychotherapy relies heavily on the rapport between therapist and client, without it growth and trust cease to exist. I work towards understanding your needs and wants in a nonjudgmental safe, supportive, and empathetic environment. I believe mental health issues are a symptom of deeper, unresolved emotional issues and childhood wounds. I work with teenagers 13+ and adults. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to help identify irrational thoughts and faulty thinking that are the main culprits behind anxiety and stress. I also utilize psychodynamic therapy to help uncover past issues, such as family dynamics and childhood issues. My full fee is $200 for individuals and $250 for couples, however I do work on a sliding scale as well. I see virtual clients and accept females, teens, and couples only for in person sessions.

Hello, my name is Claudia, and I hold an LCSW to practice therapy in California. I am a neurodivergent, queer practitioner, daughter of immigrants, and mama bear. I am deeply engaged in the ongoing reclamation of my lineage and helping other folks find the culture and healing from their own connection process. I come from generations of artists, dancers, and poets, and my approach reflects the creative, embodied wisdom of those ancestors who came before me, those who survived, thrived, and cared for one another. My work is designed to help individuals and groups implement nonviolent communication, healing justice practices, and integration strategies that foster authenticity and alignment in daily life—through creativity, mindfulness, and movement/somatics.
Rooted in a community organizing foundation, my consulting work is highly strategic and intentionally targeted. I collaborate with organizations and individuals ready to embrace new approaches to solution-seeking—grounded in transformative justice, liberation, and nervous system regulation—while applying ancestral, intergenerational wisdom to sustain meaningful progress.
I offer short-term, deeply immersive work that ensures rapid but lasting transformation, with results typically realized within 3 to 6 months. My approach is not just about conceptual change but about daily embodiment, where new habits of expansion and love are integrated into every dimension of life.
Additionally, I provide multi-modality, creative expansion workshops and art installations—transformational experiences designed to activate lasting shifts in one encounter. These immersive practices harness the wisdom of our five senses, rewiring internal narratives and dismantling restrictions that keep us stuck. If this resonates, let’s connect and explore how we can co-create something powerful together.

After completing my Bachelor’s degree in psychology at Chapman University, I decided to change careers and pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. I now continue to utilize the skills and experience I've accumulated to share these benefits with my clients.
I specialize in treating high-level anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, infertility, and relationship difficulties. As your therapist, I tailor my approach to match the client's needs for continuous change, symptom relief, growth, and ignite personal change.
I always had a passion for therapy. I knew at 7 years old this was my calling. I went on to study Sociology in my undergraduate years and went to the University of California, Santa Barbara. I then went on to get my Master's degree in Psychology from J.F.K University and graduated in 2008. In addition to my Master’s degree, I have an added emphasis of Somatic Psychology which is: ‘the study of the mind/body interface, the relationship between our physical matter and our energy, the interaction of our body structures with our thoughts and actions’. I pull from a multitude of theories and coaching techniques.
Therapy can be long-term or goal-oriented with me. I find both have great advantages and I let the client guide me on that. I’m truly invested in our relationship and care deeply when working with clients.
I work in Private Practice and have been a Clinical Supervisor for a Non-profit in the Bay Area. I appreciate doing private practice since I can have a deep, meaningful relationship that can help empower my clients and foster change.
I’m a holistic, trauma-informed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate the challenges of mental health and substance use. Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck—exhausted by cycles of relapse, emotional pain, or instability. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where we can explore your story, uncover patterns, and develop tools for lasting change. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with a deep respect for your unique experiences, empowering you to heal, connect, and create a life aligned with your values.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I received my master’s degree at Pacific Oaks College with a specialization in Trauma and I have been practicing for over 7 years. I help people by providing them with coping skills when they are overwhelmed, assist them with building a “life worth living”, and help them with working through every day life stressors including: work, relationships, family difficulties.
Life can be full of uncertainty, disappointment, loss, and unanswered questions. At times it may seem no one can possibly understand or help us through a difficult or painful situation. We may even question how the past, present, and future can be simultaneously daunting. Yes, painful life experiences can seem never-ending, but I want you to know there is hope. The hurts of life do not have to leave a permanent scar on your mind, body, or soul. I have found therapy to be an effective tool in healing the deepest of wounds. You are not defined by the wound, but the healing.
For nearly a decade, I have served many facing marital, familial and parental distress, drug/alcohol addiction, challenging mental health diagnoses, trauma, and various cancer types. I take great pride in providing therapeutic services and advocating for students with school staff. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and possess a Nutrition for Mental Health certification.
Take heart and take joy for there is nothing you cannot overcome.
