LCSW, 11 years of experience
Hi, I’m Norma Elia Luna, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the therapist behind Sol de Luna. Life can feel overwhelming and unpredictable, and at times it may seem difficult to find your way forward. My role is to meet you exactly where you are, whether you’re carrying stress, anxiety, grief, or the weight of past experiences and to walk alongside you with compassion and clarity. My approach weaves together practical tools with a focus on calming the nervous system and strengthening your sense of self. In our work, we’ll build safety first, then move toward lasting growth, helping you feel more at home in your body, your relationships, and your life. Therapy isn’t about fixing you; it’s about creating a space where you can reconnect with your strength and begin to grow again. You don’t have to walk this journey alone, I look forward to walking it with you.
In our first session, my focus is on creating a safe and welcoming space where you can simply arrive as you are. We’ll start with getting to know what brought you here and what feels most important for you right now. You can share as much or as little as feels comfortable, there is no pressure to have it all figured out. I’ll also take time to explain how therapy works, answer any questions you have, and begin gently exploring your goals. You’ll leave with a sense of what it’s like to work with me, as well as a few grounding tools you can begin using right away. My priority is that you feel understood, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead. Therapy is a process, and the first session is simply the first step, one we’ll take together at your pace.
I take a person-centered, compassionate, and integrative approach to therapy, incorporating mind, body, and spirit. Along with understanding how culture and societal issues influence an individual.

I work best with individuals who are ready for change but may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to begin. My clients often carry a lot on their shoulders, whether it’s stress, anxiety, grief, or navigating difficult relationships and are looking for a safe place to breathe, be themselves, and not feel judged. Many of my clients are high-achievers or caretakers who spend so much time showing up for others that they’ve lost touch with themselves. I especially enjoy supporting those moving through life transitions, new parenthood, loss, breakups, or shifts in identity because I know how deeply those moments can shake our sense of stability. My ideal clients want to feel grounded again, to connect with their inner strength, and to build healthier patterns that allow them to thrive, not just survive.
