I work with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship stress, identity issues, low self-esteem, perfectionism, or difficulty managing overwhelming emotions. Many have spent a long time adapting, performing, or taking care of others, while feeling unsure how to care for themselves in a deep and lasting way. They need a therapist who can offer both warmth and structure: someone who helps them feel emotionally safe while also giving them practical tools. and meaningful insight.

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 6 years of therapy experience, plus another 7 years working with families in various roles. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, and I am committed to understanding your individual needs and helping you navigate your personal journey. I truly enjoy working alongside adolescents and adults, providing compassionate support that empowers you to grow and thrive. Hello, I'm Laura Hansen, a licensed psychologist dedicated to helping individuals find healing and growth. I am based in San Diego, California. My approach is rooted in empathy, understanding and collaboration. I see my role as providing you with a supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, life transitions or relationship issues, I'm here to help you develop the tools to further your emotional well-being.
A little bit about my background: I have provided mental health treatment, assessments, and consultations for over 25 years, working in a variety of settings including inpatient hospitals, military bases and local community practices. I am thrilled to be able to use this online platform in order to further extend my work with people.
My foundation of training is with Cognitive Behavioral Interventions. Over the years I have developed a more eclectic approach and incorporated other modalities as well. I stay current with the latest evidence based treatments, and use my training and experience to tailor intervention methods based on my clients' needs.
Many times I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) as my primary treatment method. If you're not sure what this is, I'd be more than happy to talk about it with you when we meet. I have also provided a link below if you would like to look up some information before our first session. I have found this treatment to be powerful and effective, and in many cases to work faster than more traditional talk therapies.

I integrate evidence-based techniques with practical tools that clients can use in their daily lives.
Life has taught me that resilience doesn't mean never struggling—it means learning how to move through difficult seasons with support and self-compassion. I bring that perspective into my work by meeting clients where they are and helping them build on their strengths. Whether you're seeking relief from stress, greater confidence, or a deeper understanding of yourself, I'm committed to helping you reach your goals in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

I spent decades helping people with their physical health before transitioning to psychology. I've learned over the years that in order to unlock our highest level of functioning, we have to create a lifestyle that is dedicated to both our mental and physical well-being. My practice objective is to help you create and sustain that lifestyle.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and approximately 7 years of experience in the field of therapeutic services. Over the course of my career, I have had the opportunity to work with adults, adolescents, children, and families in a variety of clinical settings.
My professional background includes experience in psychiatric hospitalization settings, substance use treatment programs, and private practice. These experiences have given me a broad understanding of mental health needs across different levels of care and life stages.
In my work, I aim to provide a supportive and collaborative space where clients can explore challenges, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful change in their lives and relationships. I help clients feel more understood, supported, and less alone in what they are facing. I support people in managing symptoms, building coping skills, and improving emotional and relational functioning. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I bring experience working with individuals across the lifespan, children to adults. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of social work settings, which has given me a broad perspective on the many ways people grow, heal, and overcome challenges. While I’ve valued each of these roles, my greatest passion lies in the therapeutic setting—supporting clients in discovering their strengths and fostering meaningful change. My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and attachment-based interventions—all delivered through a trauma-informed lens. As a social worker, I am deeply committed to fostering a therapeutic environment that honors diversity, inclusion, and the unique experiences each client brings to the process.
Welcome, my name is Kiran and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW #28451) with over 20 years of experience. I specialize in and provide mental health support to people dealing with fertility issues, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, postpartum depression, and postpartum anxiety. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2002.
In 2005, I started working on the maternal-child health floor in a hospital setting where I was able to help patients experiencing grief, loss, postpartum depression, and medical trauma. My passion truly lies in working with individuals going through their journeys and challenges in pregnancy, childbirth, any type of loss, adoptions, or surrogacies.
In 2019, I struggled with my own loss of losing my father and felt it was the right time to move on from the medical field in the hospital setting to a smaller medical setting. Working as a preceptor in this new smaller medical setting, I quickly realized that this was not my calling as I began to miss working with the perinatal population. Soon after, I was given an opportunity to provide mental health therapy to the perinatal population and I believe this remains my calling.
I am of Asian descent and love learning about everyone's family histories, cultures, foods, etc.

Hello, I am a neurodivergent human who enjoys reading, gardening, drinking coffee, binge-watching TV, listening to music, and drinking coffee/tea. One of my favorite hobbies is collecting hobbies! I love cats and dogs but am allergic to both--feel free to let your pets interrupt sessions! Early mornings are my least favorite part of the day so I avoid scheduling responsibilities before 10AM.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Southern California that embarked on my career as a therapist starting in 2018. Since then, I've graduated from the University of Southern California in August of 2019 and have extensive training in Gestalt & Relational Therapy. Parenting can be tough. You wonder if your child will ever grow out of their excessive worries, meltdowns, or tantrums, and you become exhausted and feel guilty for being frustrated with them. The nightly battles with homework and reports from school are wearing you down. The power struggle with your spirited toddler or your strong-willed adolescent may leave you overwhelmed and wondering what you can do differently. Communicating and feeling unified with your partner or caregiver may be difficult or your styles may be different, creating a state of uncertainty or chaos in the home.
It is okay to feel overwhelmed. It is also okay to strive for more. You know the potential your child has, and living in a world where you can better help them navigate their development is possible. My goal is to empower you and your child by finding effective parenting strategies and coping skills that work for your family, allowing your child to thrive.
I work with children, families, parents, and caregivers to ease the tension that emotions, outbursts, tantrums, and anxiety can bring children and their families. Parents are welcome for parent support as well as for individual therapy to improve their emotional response when triggered by parenting issues. Children are welcome between the ages of 2 and 7 years for Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). Let's begin working towards a more peaceful and intentional parenting experience. I welcome all families from all walks of life.
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely heard, supported, and accepted. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, stress, life transitions, and women's issues. Using an integrative, evidence-based, and trauma-informed approach, I tailor therapy to your unique needs while helping you understand how past experiences may influence your current thoughts, emotions, relationships, and overall well-being. My goal is to help you build resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and create meaningful, lasting change so you can feel more confident, balanced, and empowered in your daily life.

I'm Stacie, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. As an LMFT, I approach therapy from a systemic perspective, which means I look at the bigger picture of your life and consider how your relationships, family experiences, and environment may be impacting the challenges you're facing today. Hello I'm Sonja — a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in California. My path to this work wasn't a straight line and I think that makes me a better clinician. I started with a career in corrections in Arkansas, where I learned early on how to connect with people in difficult circumstances without judgment. That experience shaped how I show up in the therapy room to this day. I transitioned into mental health as a psychiatric technician, working directly with all age groups across inpatient and community settings; providing direct care, facilitating group therapy, and delivering individual therapy during my internship and later as a registered clinician with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. By the time I became fully licensed, I had accumulated nearly a decade of real-world clinical experience across some of the most demanding settings in behavioral health..
From working in East LA with 0-5 population to working with adults in the military and kids/teens in San Diego, I have had the privilege of walking alongside so many individuals and families in every facet of life. Obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in the Midwest, studying in a foreign country, and ultimately earning my Master's in California, I embrace adaptability and have gained valuable perspectives gained through varied experiences in various locations. I specialize in utilizing an attachment-based, trauma-informed, and neuroscience lens; and I embrace every individual's story.
My name is Elizabeth Garcia, and I am a proud first-generation Latina with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. I specialize in supporting individuals, couples, and families as they heal from trauma, navigate parenting challenges, manage anxiety, and adjust to life’s many transitions. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard and supported.
Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying the weight of past experiences, struggling to set healthy boundaries, or trying to care for everyone else while neglecting your own needs. You don't have to navigate those challenges alone. Together, we can explore what’s holding you back, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.
I am especially passionate about supporting those who are breaking generational cycles. Many of us were raised to survive, not always to heal. Choosing a different path takes courage, and I am honored to walk alongside clients as they process their experiences, rediscover their strengths, and create healthier relationships with themselves and their loved ones. Together, we can build a future rooted in healing, resilience, and hope, for you and for the generations that follow.

I bring both professional and personal experience to my work as a therapist. Having a Bipolar 1 diagnosis has given me a unique perspective on the challenges of navigating the institutional and often stigmatized aspects of mental health and the impact on day-to-day life. This lived experience allows me to approach therapy with empathy, a genuine curiosity and appreciation for each client’s journey, while also emphasizing overall holistic living for optimal wellness of mind and body.
Professionally, I’ve worked in psychiatric residential treatment, addiction medicine, youth detention and private practice settings. These experiences have strengthened my ability to support clients through a wide range of concerns from mild to severe forms of mental health challenges and their impact on daily living.
I integrate a lot of somatic and sensory-based tools focusing on emotion and nervous system regulation, including brainspotting, drumming, sound therapy, aromatherapy, meditation techniques and other mindfulness tools, along with an emphasis on nature therapy, nutrition in relation to mental health and sleep hygiene.
Alongside these approaches, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to examine and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen emotion regulation, and collaborate with clients to develop the most applicable coping strategies in those areas.
I have extensive experience supporting clients with addictions, complex PTSD/trauma history, ADHD, BPD, bipolar and schizophrenia, among others.

Do you feel like you have the insight but don’t quite know what to do with it- how to process it or heal? You are not alone. I help individuals and couples move beyond the surface to work through what is keeping them stuck. I use IFS, EMDR and other modalities to connect you to your wounds, unprocessed memories, and blocks. Together, we set to discover the parts of you that hold pain and unlock your full potential by exploring what is holding you back.
Couples:
If it feels like you’re speaking different languages or having the same argument over and over, you may be stuck in a negative cycle that’s hard to see from the inside. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), rooted in attachment theory, to help partners reconnect, communicate vulnerably, and rebuild.
Oftentimes, what stands in our way is fear because we have a deeply rooted need to feel safe. I understand. It’s much easier to stay in something comfortable than to risk the unknown; our minds and bodies are wired that way. My hope is to reflect your strength and worth, and to provide a safe, trusting space where you can feel seen, heard, and valued.
Hola! Just pause for a moment and give yourself credit for taking the first step toward bettering your mental health. I know it can feel empowering, confusing, and maybe even a little scary all at once, but you're here, and that's a huge step in itself.
I'm a bilingual LCSW based in Southern California, practicing for about 5 years. I help clients manage emotional distress, regulate behavior, and work toward lasting change. I build trust and provide a safe space where we normalize that life includes both highs and lows across emotional, social, and developmental areas. It would be both an honor and a privilege to accompany you on this part of your journey.
"The human race has only one effective weapon, and that is laughter." – Mark Twain
Hi, I’m Natalie! I’m a Northern California-based Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works individually with adults. I believes therapy is most effective when it feels like a genuine, supportive relationship. Real progress happens when you feel comfortable, understood, and connected—and that’s always where I begin. My clinical background includes school-based mental health, hospice, community-mental health and private practice, which allows me to meet a wide range of experiences.
My style is warm, relaxed, and non-judgmental. I focus on building authentic connections and letting you take the lead at a pace that feels right. At the same time, I’m not afraid to ask thoughtful questions, offer supportive challenges, and use humor to lighten the process when it fits. I view you as the expert of your own life, and my role is to help you recognize and build on your strengths. While I prefer an unstructured, conversational approach, I also draw on evidence-based practices for skill-building and support when helpful. Together, we’ll work to identify tools and strategies that support your well-being and help you feel more confident navigating life’s challenges.
My journey as a counselor began working with the Veterans Hospital in an outpatient clinic working with veterans with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, survivors of sexual assault and educating the family. I also have experience working with those who have experienced Intimate Partner Violence, Post Partum-Depression and family members who are caregivers. I am a mother, a caregiver and grandmother who plays an active role in grandkid’s life.
I've been a therapist for about eight years with a keen eye for helping others find deeper meaning through their hardships, a calming presence capable of modeling self-regulation, and a reliable ear for those that need to unload their perceived stress across different life chapters. I also offer a modern, diverse openness for cultural understanding as I am a male Latino fluent in Spanish, have Asian ethnicity, and am first-generation American. I can also empathize with perceived struggles as I grew up with low SES, was greatly affected by a custody battle into my teenage years, and became the primary healthcare agent for my father-figure until his passing from cancer during my early twenties. In more recent years, I learned the differences in transitioning from the role of a stepfather to becoming a father of a newborn. Understanding one's own pain from their story is key to learning the balancing act of validating and/or differentiating how to help others process their felt pain. I offer my therapeutic services as your existential teammate who will metaphorically walk by your side along your therapeutic journey.
Hello! My name is May, and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA and my Master’s degree from California State University, Long Beach.
I work with individuals navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, identity exploration, grief and loss, trauma, stress, and life transitions. Through our work together, clients often share that they gain greater self-awareness, develop stronger coping skills, and feel more confident in managing their emotions. Therapy can support meaningful shifts in perspective, build resilience, and empower you to move through life’s challenges with greater clarity, balance, and self-compassion.
I graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Psychology, and from Loyola Marymount University with a M.A. in Counseling Psychology. Subsequently, I received my Marriage Family Therapist license in 1982. In addition to offering psychotherapy to recovering addicts and alcoholics in private practice in Los Angeles, California, I specializes in treating emotional disorders such as depression and anxiety and I have been facilitating ongoing recovery groups in various chemical dependency treatment centers.
Having spent many years in the field of addiction and recovery, on both a professional and personal level, I know what it takes to leave behind destructive behavior patterns in favor of actions that promote prosperity and success, and I have dedicated my life to using my extensive experience to benefit others. In my work I utilize the “alchemy” of turning weakness into strength, passing on resources and tools for recovery from emotional pain, depression, anxiety, and addiction – for building a good life.

Welcome! My name is Sheri and I’m glad you’re here. Starting therapy can be a big step, filling you with a sense of hope, nervousness, or something in between. Taking this journey to help yourself feel better in your own skin, or to function better in relationships, is a huge act of self-care. Sometimes our old wounds, that have yet to heal, play an unsuspecting role in our lives today. Other times, we might feel stuck or get anxiety at the thought of certain changes – even those we want to make. I really enjoy working with clients to help them better understand themselves, feel better individually and in relationship and move towards the version of themselves they want to be. You being here means that you’re taking steps in this direction. My door is open when you’re ready to begin.
Feel free to schedule a 15 minute phone consultation with me to see if we are a good fit.
Hi I'm Jordan and welcome to my practice. I specialize in working with adults with high-functioning Autism (formerly Asperger's) as well as help clients with addiction concerns. If you or your adult child is on the spectrum and struggling to put words to their emotions, implement real change, or develop friendships, these are very common concerns and I would be happy to meet with you or your child to work through those concerns. I also support clients (ASD or not) with addiction concerns ranging from porn to alcohol and many other drugs. I enjoy my work and ensure that my clients never feel judged and leave feeling empowered to make the changes that are essential for their life.
