Amy Manko takes a holistic and empowerment based approach in working with children, teens, adults, and families to overcome their challenges and return to a happier and more peaceful lifestyle. Her focus is on healing, processing, and providing a balance of understanding, growth and application of skill to allow a more healthy and productive life. She will explore how past experiences and relationships impact you today. She will focus on meeting your goals, being open-minded and nonjudgmental, and staying real and relatable. She is a Florida-qualified supervisor for MSW-registered interns seeking licensure. I started this journey with a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary social sciences, focusing on psychology and anthropology. I took a year off to do some self-reflection and personal growth, before pursuing my MSW. I became a licensed clinical social worker because I wanted to help other people experience the same restoration of their self connection and relationships. I discovered that I love to hear people’s stories, and assist in helping them work through any issues they are experiencing. I have experience in working in the hospice arena, providing grief and loss counseling to children, adults and families; as well as working in an office setting working with people struggling with managing emotions, stresses, relationships, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety and depression, self image and confidence. She understands how chaotic life seems right now as she both has lived it and have walked alongside many on their journey to a better, brighter and lighter tomorrow. There is hope in what feels like a hopeless situation, relationship and/or life.

Hi, I’m Jessica Vargas LCSW, LISW and I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest, understood, and supported without judgment. Life can become overwhelming, whether you’re navigating relationship challenges, stress, major life changes, anxiety, depression, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of what comes next. My approach is warm, compassionate, and practical. I work collaboratively with each client to understand what is happening beneath the surface while developing realistic tools and strategies that can create meaningful change. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Your experiences, goals, and strengths are unique, and our work together should reflect that. I work with teens, adults, and couples who may be struggling with emotional challenges, relationship concerns, communication, self-esteem, life transitions, family conflict, stress, or other challenges that are making it difficult to feel like themselves. For couples, I provide a supportive space to improve communication, understand patterns within the relationship, and work toward a healthier connection. As a therapist, I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable being yourself—even when things feel messy or difficult. My goal isn’t simply to help you get through a challenging moment, but to help you better understand yourself, build confidence in your ability to cope, and develop skills that continue to serve you beyond therapy. Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. If you’re ready to make a change, I’m here to help you take that first step.

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Florida, and I care deeply about helping parents, birthing people, and families during important times in their lives. For the past 19 years, I have worked with people who are pregnant, have just had a baby, or are learning to be parents. I also support adults who are feeling anxious, sad, or stressed, or who are going through big changes in their lives. I want everyone I work with to feel seen, supported, and strong. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida, and I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. I’m a licensed psychotherapist working with adults who may appear high-functioning on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally unsettled beneath the surface. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, self-doubt, or persistent patterns they can’t quite untangle on their own. My style is thoughtful, steady, and insight-oriented. I integrate practical tools for emotional regulation with deeper exploration of relational patterns and attachment dynamics. I believe therapy should feel both grounding and meaningful — a place where you can slow down, understand yourself more clearly, and begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you. Clients often describe me as calm, direct, and attuned. I aim to create a space that feels safe enough for honesty and structured enough for real change. My work focuses not only on reducing symptoms, but on building emotional clarity, stability, and more secure ways of relating — to others and to yourself. Ready to spill? My name is Nancy, (you can call me NJ). I'm a Neuro-Affirming therapist (ADHDers I see you). I offer individual therapy grounded with clinical insight from USC (Go Trojans!), millennial energy, and spices from God's own Country-South India. A little about me: I was raised in the diverse neighborhoods of Queens, NY (yes, just like Spiderman) where I developed a deep cultural competence that now enrich my therapeutic approach. I grew up living with progressive vision loss so I know what it feels like when one bad thing happens after the next. I was night blind by the age of 11 and lost 80% of my vision during my twenties - leading to tunnel vision. Trust me, I know what a Menty B looks like. Growing up also with the Catholic faith helped me develop the strength I thought I never had and inspired me to serve others. Whether you're untangling your identity, spiraling at 3 am, or doom-scrolling your way out of an existential crisis, I got you. My approach blends several therapeutic styles: Psychodynamic Therapy: to uncover how childhood and family dynamics still show up today (yep, we’re going there) CBT: to help reframe those “I’m not enough” thoughts Mindfulness: because sometimes we just need to breathe and not dissociate Culturally Sensitive Trauma-Informed Care: to support deep insight and generational healing Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and real. We’ll laugh, cry, unpack, and grow (sometimes all in one session) You deserve a space where you don’t have to over-explain yourself, mask your emotions, or code-switch your pain. I bring my full, authentic self into our sessions so you can too. If you're ready for true change and healing or just want to vibe-check a therapist who gets it, book your session now!

I work with women navigating life transitions, including changes in relationships, family roles, and health. These experiences can bring anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and the effects of trauma into focus, and can influence how thoughts, emotions, and the body interact. As a yoga teacher and yoga therapist for over 25 years, mindfulness is a natural part of my work and informs how I understand and approach the mind body connection. I integrate mindfulness based stress reduction, mindfulness based cognitive therapy, and somatic therapy into sessions in a way that supports awareness and emotional regulation. My training as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania, Florida, South Carolina and Delaware allows me to bring these approaches together in a way that is both clinically grounded and also responsive to your experience.

Hi—Hola. I’m Andrea, and I’m truly glad you’re here. For over nine years, I have walked alongside people as they navigate anxiety, childhood and adult trauma, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. Because I have my own lived experience with trauma, I deeply understand how it can stay in the body and nervous system—often showing up as overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or that heavy, persistent feeling of never being quite “enough.” My therapeutic style is warm, trauma-informed, and bilingual (English/Spanish). My clinical expertise is focused on supporting clients through depression and anxiety, healing childhood trauma, repairing attachment wounds, and helping you gently reconnect with your body as a vital part of your healing. My hope is to offer you a steady, supportive space where you can set down what feels heavy. Together, we will work at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you, building tools that truly help—like setting loving boundaries, nurturing a kinder inner voice, and creating healthier, more fulfilling relationship patterns. Because finding the right therapist is such a deeply personal and important part of your journey, I want to make sure I am the best possible fit for you. As much as I would love to help everyone who reaches out, ethically and professionally, I cannot. It is my responsibility to ensure you get the exact care you need and deserve. With that in mind, I invite you to read through my full profile. At the bottom, you will see a list of diagnoses and concerns that fall outside of my clinical expertise. If what you are going through right now is on that list, I encourage you to seek out a provider whose specialties speak directly to your needs. You truly deserve to be supported by someone who is fully equipped to guide you.

"Support for the woman who constantly cares for others. If you feel overwhelmed and stretched thin, I’m here to help you regain your balance and well-being." My calling to this work comes from my own experience of holding everything in, carrying the weight of caring for others, and hiding my own exhaustion. For a long time, I understood what it meant to keep going even when I needed a break, to put others' needs before my own, and to believe I had to handle everything on my own. Through my own growth and continued practice, I have learned the importance of self-care, self-compassion, and giving myself permission to slow down. I've learned that asking for help is not a sign of weakness, and that taking a break does not mean I'm falling behind. These experiences have deepened my passion for helping other women who find themselves caught in the same cycle of giving, doing, and carrying-while quietly putting their own needs last. I believe you can care deeply for the people you love without losing yourself in the process.

I help adults struggling with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem. My approach is practical, structured, and collaborative. I combine evidence-based trauma therapies with clear goals to help clients develop effective coping skills, process difficult experiences, recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and create meaningful change. Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than two decades in competitive corporate environments where long hours, high expectations, and constant pressure were the norm. After earning an MBA from George Washington University and completing postgraduate work at Emory University, I experienced firsthand how chronic stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, and unresolved personal issues can affect both professional success and life outside of work. This background helps me connect naturally with professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and others navigating demanding careers, while my practice serves all adults from many different backgrounds. Over the past eight years, I have provided psychotherapy in psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment programs, specialized treatment settings, court-supervised programs, and private practice. Much of my clinical work has focused on trauma recovery, emotional regulation, healthier coping strategies, recovery, relationships, identity exploration and personal growth. Whether you are carrying unresolved trauma, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or stress, navigating a difficult relationship or transition, or questioning what comes next, therapy should do more than help you understand why you feel stuck. My goal is to create a safe, direct, and supportive environment where we can turn insight into action, address what is getting in the way, and build practical strategies for moving toward the life you want to create.

The specialty filter is optional. You don’t need to check any boxes to see a provider. However, fit is very important when selecting an online therapist. If you have knowledge or experience to recognize what specialties you may need.

Finding a provider with a similar life experience can be beneficial because it can be easier to establish rapport and potentially be understood quicker and clearer.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
