New clients continue care with this provider

I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician in Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida. I have been practicing for more than 20 years using an integrated style of theories in counseling (CBT, Mindfulness, Trauma Focused, Solution Focused, Narrative, and Family Systems Theory). I believe the intervention should match the client verses "one size fits all." I see adults, couples, and adolescents via Telehealth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The initial session focuses on me gaining a better understanding of the client's needs and experiences. I obtain family history, gather details of any symptoms, and assist clients in setting goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I enjoy pinpointing diagnostic information so I can better equip clients in meeting their goals. I am also an empathetic listener meeting clients where they are.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with adults, adolescents, and couples seeking tools to overcome challenges in life. I'm a therapist who listens and validates your experiences while guiding you through new perspectives. I work well with clients who are seeking to gather tools to navigate their own lives.

My treatment methods

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness practices and interventions assist clients learning ways to regulate emotions. It teaches one to be in the present moment, reduce reactionary responses, and teaches healthy perspectives to respond to distress productively.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I assist clients in identifying the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and actions. I work collaborative and compassionately with clients to help them form interventions in overcoming depression, anxiety, or self-esteem barriers.

Gottman method

My Master's degree is in Marriage & Family Therapy. Incorporating Gottman theories and interventions in couples counseling, is effective in helping clients build a stronger relationship and learning new communication skills.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution Focused strategies are useful in helping clients identify their goals and what steps are needed for them to obtain positive outcomes.
