About me

Hi, I'm Ashley! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Certified Mindfulness Informed Professional (CMIP), yogi, health/wellness coach, and mental health advocate passionate about helping others become their authentic selves. I have 15 years of experience working with youth, families, and adults in various community, school-based, and clinical settings. I utilize a strengths based approach to empower others to practice the courage and vulnerability to first love themselves. I am a big proponent of radical self-love and the connection between mind, body, and soul. I wholeheartedly believing that truly loving ourselves is the key to overcoming shame & perfectionism and to building confidence and long-lasting change. Take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards bettering your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, and I aim to create a safe, compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can reconnect with their true self and inner strengths, increase resilience, cultivate self-love, and move toward a greater sense of balance and fulfillment.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the way I blend practical skills with a holistic awareness of the mind-body-spirit connection. I believe lasting change happens when we not only address thoughts and behaviors, but also explore how the nervous system, emotions, and limiting self-beliefs shape our experiences and how we show up in the world. I integrate evidence-based tools to help clients develop boundaries, practice assertive communication, and strengthen self-care, while also guiding them toward deeper self-compassion and self-love.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve clients who are seeking support with anxiety, depression, stress, grief/loss, and difficulties with self-care. I work well with individuals who are open to exploring the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and who want to deepen their awareness of how nervous system regulation impacts their emotional well-being. Many of my clients are working on cultivating self-compassion, setting healthy boundaries, and building confidence in their communication. I work well with individuals who are open to self-exploration and recognize that healing is an ongoing journey—one that happens through small, intentional steps that increase awareness, foster resilience, and bring more joy into daily life. I also enjoy working with neurodivergent individuals who may experience the world in unique ways and are looking for strategies to regulate, cope, and thrive while honoring their authentic selves. I help to support individuals with unmasking and overcoming perfectionism and people pleasing tendencies.

My treatment methods

Grief Therapy

Grief is not something we "get over" or "move on" from. It’s an ongoing journey we learn to live with. Where there is grief, there is love. Love doesn’t end with loss; it transforms. I believe that as energy is never lost, our connections remain, even after death or significant change. I don’t offer quick fixes or promises to take away your pain. Instead, I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can process, honor, witness, and express your grief—in whatever way best serves you. Grief is a universal, yet personal and unique experience and no one should have to navigate it alone.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is not just a practice, but a way of being. At its core, it’s about awareness. Without awareness, we can’t create change. We often get stuck in the past or trapped in fear of the future, but the present moment is where true growth happens. In my approach, mindfulness serves as a tool to help you reconnect with yourself, to explore your inner world with curiousity and without judgment, and to focus on what’s within your control. It’s about reclaiming your power and stepping into the person you’ve always been—and the person you’re becoming.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps us explore the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and actions, all through a trauma-informed lens. This approach supports the shift from surviving to thriving, offering a deeper understanding of how past experiences shape limiting beliefs. Together, we’ll work on reframing those beliefs, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, and creating healthier, more empowering behaviors.

Strength-Based

A strengths-based approach begins with the belief that we all hold innate resilience and inner resources that are often forgotten or overshadowed by pain. When we focus only on our weaknesses, it’s easy to feel stuck or hopeless. This work isn’t about pretending to be strong all the time; it’s about learning how to speak to ourselves with compassion in the darkness. Together, we explore the strengths that have carried you through, even when you didn’t realize it. Through shadow work and inner child healing, we begin to release shame and self-judgment, and move toward fully accepting and loving ALL parts of yourself.

Somatic

Somatic healing weaves together the mind, body, and spirit connection—because true healing requires more than just understanding our thoughts. Through my training in yoga, breathwork, and nervous system regulation, I help clients reconnect with their bodies as a source of wisdom, not just pain. Many of us live primarily in our minds, disconnected from the body’s messages. But our breath is the bridge that brings us back into the body, and the body brings us back to the present moment. By learning to regulate the nervous system, we create a sense of safety within ourselves to allow space for self-love, embodied healing, and the rediscovery of our inner magic. The body is always communicating with us; sometimes we just need to slow down enough to hear it.
