If you’re someone who looks like you have it all together on the outside but feel overwhelmed, stuck, or mentally exhausted on the inside, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I work with high-functioning adults, particularly women, who are navigating career stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges while quietly struggling with self-doubt, overthinking, and burnout. Many of my clients find themselves people-pleasing, setting few boundaries, and feeling resentful or depleted as a result. Others are working through the impact of relationship stress or past emotional experiences that continue to affect how they show up in their lives. My approach is warm, supportive, and practical. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel understood, but also one where you gain clarity and learn how to move forward. Together, we’ll not only explore what’s been weighing on you, but also focus on building real-life strategies to help you set boundaries, make confident decisions, and feel more in control of your life. Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My experience with CBT spans years of working with clients just like you, helping them navigate challenges, manage stress, anxiety, depression, and improve their overall mental well-being. We will work together to identify and understand the negative thought patterns that might be contributing to your challenges. I will teach you ways to challenge these thoughts and explore new ways to approach these thoughts.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
I recognize that each client's cultural background is unique. I tailor our therapy to address your specific needs and concerns within the context of your cultural identity.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
ACT emphasizes mindfulness and acceptance of your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. I'll guide you in cultivating mindfulness skills to become more aware of the present moment and increase your emotional resilience.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness-based therapy is effective in managing stress and anxiety. I'll teach you relaxation and meditation techniques that promote calm and reduce the impact of stressors. You'll learn to treat yourself with kindness and understanding, reducing self-criticism and enhancing self-esteem.
Psychodynamic
I'll help you build self-awareness and insight into your emotional patterns and the ways in which your past experiences shape your present. Understanding these dynamics is a crucial step toward personal growth.
