As a dedicated therapist, I am passionate about working with both couples and individuals who are navigating life's challenges. My approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings openly. I integrate a variety of therapeutic techniques, including mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral strategies, and stress management tools, to tailor each session to the unique needs of my clients. Through our work together, I aim to empower individuals and couples to build resilience, enhance their well-being, and foster stronger, more fulfilling relationships.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

You can look forward to a friendly and open space where we can get to know each other during our first meeting. We'll talk about your therapy goals and what you hope to get out of it. I'll ask you some questions to learn more about your past and present problems. Then we'll talk about how different types of therapy, such as cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches, can help you on your path. The goal of this instruction is to give you a safe place to share your thoughts and begin the healing and growth process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have a deep commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment where clients feel truly heard and understood. With years of experience working with diverse individuals and couples, I have honed my ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. My background in both Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) allows me to blend evidence-based techniques with a compassionate, empathetic approach. This combination not only helps clients navigate their current challenges but also empowers them to build resilience and embrace meaningful change in their lives. My passion for helping others and my dedication to ongoing learning ensure that I am always equipped with the latest tools and insights to support my clients on their journey to well-being.

My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps couples understand and transform their emotional responses to foster deeper connections. Additionally, I incorporate Imago Relationship Therapy, focusing on improving communication and understanding between partners by exploring their unconscious patterns and needs. As a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP), I also address intimacy and sexual health issues, providing a comprehensive approach to relationship counseling that is tailored to the unique needs of each couple.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use mindfulness therapy because it helps individuals cultivate a sense of calm and presence, reducing anxiety and enhancing overall well-being. With years of experience, I've seen firsthand how mindfulness techniques can empower people to manage stress and face challenges with resilience. In my practice, I integrate mindfulness exercises such as deep breathing, body scans, and guided meditations, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of my clients .

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) because it is a highly effective approach for addressing a wide range of emotional and psychological issues. CBT focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors, empowering individuals to develop healthier coping strategies. Research has consistently shown its efficacy in treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. By incorporating CBT into my practice, I provide clients with practical tools and techniques that promote lasting change and personal growth.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my practice because it empowers individuals to embrace their thoughts and feelings without judgment, fostering a profound sense of psychological flexibility. This approach encourages clients to live in alignment with their core values, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and resilience. By focusing on what truly matters, ACT helps individuals break free from the constraints of their past and step confidently into a future filled with purpose and fulfillment.
