New to Grow
You may be the woman everyone thinks is strong-the one wh appears capable and keeps life moving-while privately feeling anxious, depressed, disconnected or close to falling apart. My style is safe, honest, collaborative, and real. I use clear expectations, thoughts, emtions, and practical tools. I bring 20+ years experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and serve women in Florida and North Carolina. Therapy is not about becoming someone else, it's about feeling safe enough to reconnect with your voice, worth and authentic self. Together, we explore how stress responses, thoughts, emotions, earlier experiences and relationship patterns may be keeping you stuck or causing you to react in ways that no longer feel like you.
We begin by slowing things down so you can feel safe, welcomed, and heard. You don't need to know exactly what to say or have everything figured out. We will identify what is hurting most right now, what you want to change, and what you hope life could feel like instead. I will help you notice connections among your thoughts, emotions, physical stress responses, behaviors, and recurring relationship patterns. Befre we finish, you will leave with one strategy, one solution to try, and one coping skill to practice that day. Together, we will decide what deserves our attention next so you leave with greater clarity, hope, and a practical directin forward.
* Safety without judgement: I create space for you to tell the truth about what is happening beneath the mask. * Straight-up honesty with compassion, I am real while respecting your pace, choices, and lived experience. * Twenty years of clinical experience: I recognize patterns and help translate complicated emotional experiences nto a language you can understand and use. * Visual and practical teaching: I use stories, examples, and clear frameworks so insight does not remain abstract. * Nervous-system and emotional-regulation awareness: I help you recognize stress responses and practice moving from reacting toward responding. * A deeper view of patterns: We can explore how unmet needs, old beliefs, survial strategies, and relationship dynamics still influence the present. * A broad human perspective: My work, volunteering, and travels across Tanzania, Ghana, Thailand, and Antigua reinforced that the need to feel seen, safe, and valued crosses all cultures and income levels.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to understand themselves more deeply and create meaningful change, but may feel stuck in patterns they cannot quite explain. You may be experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, ADHD or neurodivergence, relationship difficulties, disconnection, low self-esteem, procrastination, or difficulty regulating your emotions. You may find yourself reacting rather than responding, struggling to communicate your needs, set boundaries, trust others, or feel safe within yourself. Perhaps you understand what you should do, but have difficulty translating that knowledge into lasting change. I work especially well with people who are curious, open-minded, and willing to look beneath the surface—to explore where their beliefs, behaviors, and survival patterns originated and whether they still serve them. My ideal client wants more than symptom relief. You want greater emotional regulation, authentic connection, self-trust, inner peace, and the ability to navigate life with greater clarity, compassion, and choice.
I assist my client's with staying present helping them heal their nervous system and helping them regulate their emotions.
Most unmanageability stems from distorted thinking. I will challenge my client's thoughts, beliefs and perspectives.
I help my clients internalize a higher regard for themselves. I help people feel more comfortable in their own skin and to feel more confident with how the navigate life.
We use grounding and regulation practices to increase safety , reduce reactivity, and strengthen your ability to respond with intention.
We will identify what needs attention now and recognize what is already working and develop realistic next steps. You will leave sessions with practical strategies you can begin applying in everyday life.
