About

My name is Tiffany Fisher and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change—helping you move toward greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and a stronger sense of self.

I combine DBT and CBT skills to help clients manage emotions and build practical coping strategies, while also using psychodynamic exploration to uncover deeper patterns and promote lasting insight.

I draw from DBT, CBT, and psychodynamic therapy, along with a humanistic perspective, to meet each client where they are. Together, we’ll explore underlying patterns, build practical coping skills, and develop a deeper understanding of your emotions and experiences.

First session

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy and what you hope to work on. I’ll ask some questions to understand your background and goals so I can tailor my approach to your needs. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported as we start building a plan for meaningful change together.

Strengths

My approach blends evidence-based techniques with a warm, humanistic perspective. I combine DBT and CBT skills to help clients manage emotions and build practical coping strategies, while also using psychodynamic exploration to uncover deeper patterns and promote lasting insight. My goal is for therapy to feel both safe and empowering, helping clients gain clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of self as they move toward meaningful change.

Ideal clients

I primarily work with with adolescents and adults navigating life’s transitions, emotional challenges, and relationship struggles.

Treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

In my clinical practice, I incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop practical skills for managing emotions, improving relationships, and tolerating distress.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Psychodynamic

I draw on psychodynamic principles to help clients gain deeper insight into the unconscious patterns that shape their thoughts, emotions, and relationships.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I use mindfulness therapy to help clients develop nonjudgmental awareness of their present-moment thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and experiences.
