(she/her)
Hi, I’m a therapist who believes therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or clinical to be effective. I help people sort through stress, self-doubt, relationship tension, and life transitions—with clarity, compassion, and a healthy dose of humor. My clients often tell me they chose me because I feel relatable and real, and because I’m not afraid to laugh with them even when things are tough. I’m straightforward and down-to-earth. I’ll meet you where you are without judgment, help you challenge what’s keeping you stuck, and walk alongside you as you make sense of what’s working—and what isn’t. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I believe in real conversations, real growth, and helping you feel like yourself again (or maybe for the first time). Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, or just trying to feel more grounded in your life, I’m here to help you reconnect with your strength, your clarity, and your sense of possibility. You don’t have to be perfect or polished. Just bring yourself—we’ll take it from there.
In our first session, clients can expect a warm, non-judgmental space where we’ll talk about what brought them to therapy and what they hope to gain. I’ll ask some questions to better understand their history, current challenges, and goals. Most importantly, we’ll begin building a collaborative connection and set the foundation for meaningful, personalized work together.
One of my greatest strengths as a provider is helping clients see what they’re truly made of—even when they’ve forgotten it themselves. I’m matter-of-fact, warm, and not afraid to use humor to cut through the noise. I help people zoom out, see the big picture, and challenge the beliefs or patterns that are keeping them stuck. My approach is both grounding and encouraging—I’ll comfort you, but I’ll also gently push you to grow.
I’m best positioned to support adults, young adults, and couples who are navigating anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, or emotional overwhelm. I work especially well with young adults who are trying to find their way in this fast-moving, often unforgiving world—whether it’s about identity, direction, or self-worth. I also provide meaningful support to the elderly, who often find this world even more challenging to navigate as they face changes in identity, independence, and connection. I connect with clients who are self-reflective, open to learning new tools, and ready to explore patterns that may be holding them back. Whether you're seeking greater emotional balance or healthier communication, I provide a grounded, supportive space for growth and clarity.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) regularly in my practice because it is evidence-based and widely preferred by insurance providers. I help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts, develop coping strategies, and improve emotional regulation. CBT allows me to offer structured, goal-oriented support that is tailored to each client’s needs.
I incorporate compassion-focused strategies to help clients reduce self-criticism and develop a more nurturing inner dialogue. This approach is especially useful for clients struggling with shame, anxiety, or trauma and supports emotional healing through self-kindness and acceptance. I often guide clients in developing a compassionate internal voice to replace harsh or judgmental thoughts.
I use mindfulness techniques to help clients stay grounded, reduce reactivity, and improve awareness of their thoughts and emotions. This method is integrated into sessions as a tool for emotional regulation and present-moment coping. Clients often learn breathing exercises and body awareness practices they can use between sessions.
Psychoeducation is a key part of my work. I help clients understand the "why" behind their emotional patterns and diagnoses, equipping them with knowledge and tools that empower change and promote long-term progress. Education helps normalize their experiences and reduce fear or shame around symptoms.
I apply solution-focused techniques to help clients build on their strengths and identify actionable steps toward their goals. This method keeps therapy future-oriented and encourages clients to recognize what's already working. We focus on small, achievable changes that can create lasting momentum.
