Welcome! I’m Bianke Gadsden. A licensed clinical social worker. If you’ve been carrying the weight of past trauma, battling anxiety, or navigating major life changes, you don’t have to do it alone. I specialize in helping young adults heal from childhood trauma and PTSD, as well as supporting individuals facing life transitions due to medical conditions or aging. Therapy with me is a safe, nonjudgmental space where we work together to untangle the emotions, patterns, and thoughts that may be holding you back. Using evidence-based techniques, I help my clients regain a sense of control, build resilience, and move toward a life of greater peace and fulfillment. Healing is not about "just getting over it," it’s about understanding, processing, and growing beyond the pain. If you’re ready to start that journey, I’m here to guide and support you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our initial meeting is a collaborative journey, where we explore your unique story, set goals, and establish a foundation of trust. I prioritize creating a space where you feel seen and heard, laying the groundwork for a therapeutic alliance built on understanding and empathy. My priority is to make you feel validated and empowered to take control of your mental health.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Therapy with me is a collaborative journey where you feel seen, heard, and understood. From our first session, I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental space built on trust and empathy. I take a personalized, strengths-based approach to healing. I help clients process past experiences, manage anxiety, and regain control of their mental well-being. My goal is to empower you, providing validation, support, and practical tools to navigate challenges with resilience. Healing isn’t about “just moving on, ”it’s about understanding, growing, and moving forward in a way that honors your story. Let’s take this journey together.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My expertise lies in working with: 1) Adults navigating the aftermath of childhood trauma. Whether you grew up in an unstable environment, experienced emotional neglect, or witnessed events that left deep emotional scars, you may now find yourself struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, or difficulty trusting others. The echoes of the past can impact relationships, self-esteem, and your ability to feel at peace in your own mind. Through evidence-based approaches, I help clients process complex PTSD, regulate emotions, and break free from the patterns that trauma can create. 2) Individuals facing major life adjustments due to medical conditions or aging. A sudden diagnosis, chronic pain, mobility changes, or the natural aging process can lead to a deep sense of loss, fear, or uncertainty. You might feel like your identity has shifted, and the future feels unfamiliar. I help clients navigate these transitions with resilience, self-compassion, and a renewed sense of purpose.
