Hello, I have been a clinical social worker for over 30 years. I have a warm and calm demeanor. I work with people with mood disorders, chronic pain and other chronic medical issues. I also work with insomnia, women's concerns including post-menopausal issues, and trauma. I enjoy mindfulness and moving meditative practices.

The first session involves an intake which involves using a bio psychosocial spiritual and cultural approach.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)
This treatment method is used for people having difficulty with insomnia or over sleeping. It is not effective with people who do shift work.
Interpersonal
Interpersonal therapy for depression addresses issues related to dysfunctional relationships, grief, role transitions, interpersonal disputes, and trauma.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
MBSR for stress mgt/anxiety, overthinking, and containment; I incorporate breathing exercises and meditation.
