Hello! I am Bianca. Do you feel at times misunderstood, un heard, or there is something stopping you and you cant put a pin on it? I love to empower clients through difficult times by providing them support, guidance, and developing skills to accomplish their goals and not let mental health become a limitation. I have been working in the field for 8 years providing services to adolescents and adults. I focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, and dual diagnosis. It is important to learn and develop the skills that will help us manage different symptoms in difficult situation to overcome obstacles.
In the first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive environment where we focused on building rapport and getting to know each other. I'll ask questions about what brought them to therapy, their current concerns, and some background information to help me understand their experiences. We'll talk about goals for therapy, answer any questions they have, and discuss what they can expect from the process moving forward. It's a collaborative, low-pressure space designed to help clients feel comfortable and understood from the start.
I specialize in Anxiety, Depression, and Anger Management. The importance of understanding your emotions and the reaction of your emotions, its crucial to developing self- awareness of your actions, thoughts, feelings, and thought about self. I like to focus on empowering client on knowing they have control and how to gain control. Mental Health should not limit us from living our day to day life and developing relationships.
I am best positioned to serve clients who are navigating challenges realted to anxiety, depressions, anger management, trauma, and life transitions. I work well with individuals who are ready to explore their emotions, gain insight into patterns, and develop practical strategies for change. My approach is especially affective for those seeking a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
In my individual sessions, I frequently utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help individuals identify, challenge, and reframe unhelpful thought patterns. My approach focuses on increasing client's awareness of the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I guide clients through structured interventions such as cognitive restructuring, behavioral activation, and thought records to promote insight and long-term change.
I also utilize Mindfulness- Based Therapy techniques to help clients cultivate present-moment awareness and develop a nonjudgemental attitude towards their thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations. I provide techniques that will help client practice grounding, mindful breathing, body scans, and guided imagery, to increase their capacity for emotional regulation and reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression.
In sessions with client who have experienced trauma, I utilize Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to provide a structured and supportive approach to healing. I help clients process traumatic experiences by integrating spycheducation, relaxation skills, affective modulation, and cognitive coping strategies. TF-CBT allowed clients to gradually confront and reframe trauma- related thoughts, while also developing healthier beliefs about themselves and their world.
