Welcome! I'm Silvie Wilson. I'd like to acknowledge the strength it requires to take that first step of reaching out for help with your mental health from a therapist. I know it's not easy to begin the journey to better self understanding, compassion, and mastery. My aim is to create a safe environment in which we can explore your own personal history, themes, and challenges, in order to find resources and solutions to the obstacles that hold you back from being exactly the person you've always wanted to be. I will pay attention to who you are as an individual, reflect back your strengths, and help you to tie together the seemingly disparate aspects of your life so that you realize how much sense you make, have compassion for all phases of your development, and leave behind what no longer serves you to find the life you've always wanted. Together we can build up your sense of self, your resilience, and your ability to find peace of mind.

In my experiences in working with children and their families in various capacities for close to 30 years has given me a heart for caring. I have been a foster parent, preschool teacher and director, a child development instructor at a communnity college for over 20 years and a clinical supervisor to numerous trainees and interns who became wonderful clinicians. I am also the mother to 4 grown children (one with ADHD) and the grandparent to 13. My focus has been helping those with trauma by listening to their stories and helping them make sense of their views of self. Through the use of EMDR, healing can happen quickly and it is so rewarding to watch as my clients receive the healing they deserve. I love to support parents in their journey and give them the confidence they need to be the best they can be. I've worked with countless children and adolescents in a county clinic for over 20 years and have learned how to help them navigate life's challenges. All this, along with my Christian beliefs, have inspired me and given me wisdom and compassion to do the work I love.

Are you struggling with something that happened? Maybe you’re having a hard time after a car accident, medical procedure, assault, natural disaster, or witnessing something shocking. Or maybe what happened doesn’t seem “big” enough to call trauma, but you know it changed something in you. Some experiences are what we call “big T” traumas. But there are also “little t” traumas. Being neglected or made to feel invisible, being made fun of, getting yelled at, or losing a pet can leave a lasting mark too. An experience doesn’t have to seem “big” to everyone else. What matters is how it affected you. I’m a trauma therapist who uses EMDR and other therapies to help people work through overwhelming experiences and feel more like themselves again. I also work with healthcare workers who have experienced disturbing or traumatic situations in the course of their jobs. You may be carrying something you saw, heard, or had to do that is difficult to talk about with people who haven’t been there. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and teenagers as well. This is a time of life when everything can feel big, and having a place where you don’t have to minimize what you’re feeling can make a real difference. Therapy with me is active and collaborative. We’ll work together to understand what is keeping you stuck and find ways to help you. If you’re motivated and short on time, I can also give you practical tools and knowledge you can use between sessions to support yourself through a difficult space. I’m probably a good fit if you’re ready to work on the impact of something overwhelming and want a therapist who will take your experience seriously, even if other people might not understand why it affected you so deeply.

Hi, I’m Jacob Mooradian. I earned my bachelor’s degree from CSU Fullerton and my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University, where I focused on mental health and supporting people through life’s challenges. I take a down-to-earth, non-directive approach rooted in CBT, helping you understand the patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so you can eventually become your own therapist. I love bringing in media like movies, TV shows, sports, and current trends to make our conversations relatable, engaging, and grounded in real life. My goal is to validate your experiences, help you gain clarity, and build practical tools you can use every day. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are and move at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll create a warm, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow with confidence and independence.

Couples: I am TAKING Couples again. However only on Cash Pay basis. This is how it will work: You can schedule with me an hour consultation, you don't both have to be present, for this Consultation. From there we will meet 5 to 6 times for 1.5 hour sessions. It is very difficult to have Couples sessions within 60 min. The Cash pay is $250.00 for the 1.5 hour sessions. I understand the cost can be a deterrent in seeking help, however if you are both committed to doing the work 5 to 6 sessions should be productive and enough to see changes. Individuals: Of course I am still taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers. Sometimes our own mental health can influence all of our relationships, and you may need coping techniques for anxiety and or depression type symptoms. I will work with you individually to help you gain insight to your own behavior that may be influencing your relationship. I am here to help with coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.

When anxiety, depression, or the weight of past trauma takes over, simply getting through the day can feel like an uphill battle. You don’t have to settle for just "getting by," and you don't have to figure out the way forward alone. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I help teens and adults move out of survival mode and into genuine, lasting recovery. My approach looks at the whole picture: who you are, what you’ve carried, and the real-world environment you navigate every day. Integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-focused care, our work goes beyond temporary relief. Together, we will target the root of what’s keeping you stuck, quiet the noise, and equip you with practical, everyday tools to reclaim your energy, restore your internal control, and build a life you are genuinely excited to live.

Life is weird, and having help can help. As a therapist, I tend to be both challenging and supportive. I am focused on real and genuine relationships with folks that help people choose how to define their goals in terms of what is important to them. I care a lot about the people who work with me, and I think that comes across in my relationships. As I am sure you can see via the Grow reviews, I am honest and direct, qualities I find many people appreciate in a therapeutic relationship but I also understand those are not for everyone. Therapy can also be hard work, but that doesn't mean it has to be a hard time. I've been in the field long enough to know how normal having problems is. The people I work with appreciate that therapy can be a place to laugh, cry, and sometimes both at the same time. In terms of modalities, a lot of the work I do centers on the therapeutic relationship, with elements of narrative work, CBT, person-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and general talk therapy. I don't use Grow's AI transcription, and I didn't use AI to write this, if that is important to you to know.

All things are interconnected. To feel better, you have to act better. To feel better, you have to think better. To think better, you have to feel better. To act better, you have to think better. To think, feel, and act better, you have to care for your physical health. To care for your physical health, you have to think, feel, and act better. Each has a corresponding effect on the other. However, the aspect of ourselves that we have the most direct control of is what we do, our acting. While we can influence other people, we cannot control other people. A great source of conflict and unhappiness results from our efforts to control others. If you want better relationships, the only thing we can control is what we do, how we choose to relate. We are responsible for what we do. Others are responsible for what they do. Accepting this fundamental reality and thinking, feeling, and acting in accordance with it is how we increase our experience of power, freedom, belonging, meaning and, very importantly, fun. My professional experience includes over 30 years of post-Master’s clinical work, including leadership experience in foster care, chemical abuse and addiction, inpatient and outpatient mental health services, and crisis intervention, de-escalation, and hospitalization. I am experienced in working with ages three through the elderly. I have worked extensively with youth and families, diverse populations and life issues, providing services in various settings, including family homes, schools, juvenile detention facilities, jails, outpatient clinics, and inpatient psychiatric facilities.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I bring experience working with individuals across the lifespan, children to adults. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a variety of social work settings, which has given me a broad perspective on the many ways people grow, heal, and overcome challenges. While I’ve valued each of these roles, my greatest passion lies in the therapeutic setting—supporting clients in discovering their strengths and fostering meaningful change. My practice is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and attachment-based interventions—all delivered through a trauma-informed lens. As a social worker, I am deeply committed to fostering a therapeutic environment that honors diversity, inclusion, and the unique experiences each client brings to the process.

I believe psychotherapy is a tool to understand oneself and grow as an individual, It can also be used to form a relationship where safety allows a person to share their innermost thoughts and feelings and then work towards symptom alleviation and improving self-concept, social and family relationships, and find personal contentment and fulfillment in their lives. I have been in the psychotherapy field for over 45 years and love working with people of all ages, sexual preferences, racial and ethnic groups, and mental health problems presented. Hi, I’m Alessandra. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and EMDRIA Certified Therapist™ with 11 years of experience supporting teens and adults throughout California. Many of the people I work with are used to holding everything together. You may be the person others rely on, the one who notices what everyone needs, keeps the peace, and pushes through even when you’re anxious, exhausted, or unsure of yourself. Asking for help, setting limits, or figuring out what you need may feel less familiar. I primarily use EMDR to help you work through experiences that continue to affect how you feel about yourself, relate to others, or respond to situations today. EMDR combines working with memories and emotions with guided eye movements, alternating sounds, or tapping. I also draw from CBT, mindfulness, and parts work to help you find tools you can use in daily life. My style is warm, collaborative, and flexible. I take time to listen and understand you, and I welcome honest feedback about what is and isn’t helping. Therapy with me can include deeper work as well as space for what has been difficult that week. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable and work toward releasing some of the pressure you’ve been carrying, trusting yourself more, and making room for your own needs. Private-pay information: I am currently accepting new clients through Grow on a private-pay basis only. If you add active insurance to your Grow account after booking, Grow cannot switch your account back to private pay. Because I am not accepting new insurance-based clients through Grow, we may be unable to begin or continue working together, and I can help you explore referrals to providers who accept your plan.

While I am new to Grow Therapy, I have been practicing in various schools settings as a counselor for over a decade: supporting students and parents navigate, life, learning and loss of all types. Whether you or your child experience neurodivergence (such as ADHD, anxiety, autism, emotionality, sensory sensitivities, demand avoidance, etc.) or are struggling with social , work, relationship or routine daily demands, I am here to support you. I also support women going through relationship struggles, whether it's from co-parenting, infidelity, perimenopause, caregiving burnout, etc. Over the years, I found myself working more and more with moms who are carrying it all, doing all that they can, and finding themselves barely hanging on. You may be feeling, overwhelm, confusion, guilt, shame, exhaustion and even anger. If so, I am here to help you navigate through these difficult feelings. I tailor each session to meet the client's individual needs, personality, and strengths. Together, we'll build on your resilience, intuition, and inner resources while creating opportunities for growth, healing, and self-empowerment. My goal is to provide a safe, collaborative environment to make changes at your pace.

I’m a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 15 years of experience in behavioral health. I work with adults and adolescents navigating trauma, grief, ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationship and family patterns, life transitions, codependency, identity, and spirituality. My approach is warm, interactive, integrative, and trauma-informed. I draw from EMDR, parts-oriented work, CBT, motivational interviewing, attachment and relational therapy, mindfulness, and somatic practices, tailoring treatment to each person rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. My background in addiction treatment deepened my understanding of trauma, coping, and the protective strategies people develop to survive difficult experiences. I am also trained in yoga and have experience with meditation, breathwork, tai chi, and qi gong. When these practices fit a client’s needs and interests, they can become part of our work together.

Hi there and great job on taking that first step in considering if therapy is right for you. I invite you to come with me on a journey of your own choosing where we will walk together in darkness to find the light you’ve been seeking. Whether it’s life’s little annoying stressors or more complex issues, as a trauma survivor myself, I know firsthand what this is like and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. Whether you choose me or another therapist, make the choice to just give it a try. Sometimes all you need is another person to hold the light while you do the work you need to heal.
