New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of OSUN Family Healing Services, an African-centered mental health initiative dedicated to healing Black women and girls. My work is rooted in cultural identity, emotional healing, and community restoration. I support individuals in reconnecting with themselves beyond survival, addressing the impact of generational trauma, systemic oppression, and disconnection from identity. I am building a space that moves beyond traditional therapy into collective healing, self-awareness, and liberation. My purpose is to help rebuild individuals, families, and communities through culturally grounded, intentional care.
In our work together, we begin by intentionally creating a space that is rooted in ritual, cultural awareness, and historical understanding of who we are. This is not just a space for conversation — it is a space for grounding, reflection, and reconnection. During our first session, we will begin establishing practices and rituals that help you: center yourself reconnect with your identity and build a deeper sense of awareness and alignment The purpose of this space is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel: seen supported and understood This work is not rushed. It is intentional. And everything we build here is meant to support your healing, your clarity, and your growth.
My greatest strengths are my ability to connect deeply with others, hold space for emotional processing, and translate complex experiences into clear understanding and growth. I am highly intuitive, culturally aware, and grounded in purpose-driven work. I am also a builder — I take vision and turn it into structure, creating programs and spaces that support healing and transformation. My resilience, discipline, and commitment to community allow me to continue showing up, even in uncertainty. I lead with authenticity, intention, and a strong sense of responsibility to the communities I serve.
I work best with Black women, adolescents, and families who are navigating depression, emotional overwhelm, identity challenges, and family or relationship stress. Many of my clients feel stuck, disconnected from themselves, or carrying emotional weight from past experiences, family dynamics, or societal pressures. They are often seeking deeper healing, clarity, and a better understanding of who they are. I provide a space that is supportive, culturally aware, and grounded in both emotional processing and practical tools. My goal is to help clients build self-awareness, strengthen their sense of identity, and develop healthier ways of coping and relating to themselves and others.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in culturally responsive and African-centered practices that honor the lived experiences, identity, and history of Black individuals and families. I recognize that mental health cannot be separated from culture, community, and systemic experiences, including generational trauma, oppression, and identity development. In my work, I intentionally create a space where clients feel seen, understood, and affirmed, not just as individuals, but within the context of their cultural and familial backgrounds. I integrate traditional therapeutic techniques with culturally grounded reflection, emotional processing, and identity exploration to support clients in reconnecting with themselves, building self-awareness, and developing tools for healing and growth. My goal is to move beyond surface-level symptom management and support deeper, sustainable healing that aligns with each client’s values, experiences, and sense of self.
