Something meaningful in your life isn't working — even though on the outside, things look fine. You've tried therapy, you have insight into your patterns, but something still isn't shifting. That's exactly who I work with.
I'm a licensed therapist in Pasadena, California. Before becoming a therapist, I spent most of my adult life as a successful executive in investment management — driven, accomplished, and always moving. What I didn't realize until my 50s was that the constant motion was keeping me from slowing down enough to feel. Therapy changed that profoundly enough that I left my career, went back to school, and became a therapist myself.

Hi, I’m Patricia Hernandez, LCSW. I help mothers and women find their footing in the beautiful, messy transition of parenthood. My therapy style is a mix of deep root-work (Psychodynamic) and real-life tools (PCIT & CBT), always grounded in a Somatic and cultural perspective. Let’s work together to nurture your healing and your family’s future.

Just because we have been going through life in survival mode does not mean we should continue to have to.
Seeking help is not always easy, especially when we are feeling uncertain, lost, or defeated. At times, people need some extra support to process things with, manage difficult emotions, and be comfortable in our own skin.
My role as a therapist is to listen, guide, and to help you navigate through life’s challenges. My goal is to teach you healthy coping skills that will enhance current, new and past relationships. Therapy is a collaborative journey to help you move forward. I believe that the relationship we build together will create a supportive and safe place to be yourself and dive into your true healing. One of my specialties is helping clients feel understood and supported.
In recognizing the challenges and complexities of today's changing world and at the many roles we are called upon to fulfill, I know the importance of being able to give my clients a safe place to talk. I help my clients explore and uncover issues that have contributed to feelings of depression and anxiety and work to bring joy back into their lives. Although many individuals don't identify trauma in their history, in over 25 years of practice I have found being attuned to my clients past experiences helpful in improving the present. In addition to treating anxiety and depression, I am trained in trauma treatments both CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) and TFCBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Therapy). I also utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach that allows for identifying and challenging unhelpful thoughts, beliefs, and patterns of behavior that often keep us stuck. The path to recognizing and challenging our thoughts and beliefs can help change our perspective and allow for experiencing ourselves and relationships in a more satisfying way.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who provides a supportive, goal-oriented therapy space where clients can feel heard, understood, and respected. I work with individuals who are dealing with concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, attachment wounds, and the impact of past experiences.
The clients I serve are often people who feel stuck in patterns they want to change, are overwhelmed by emotions or responsibilities, or are ready to build healthier coping skills and stronger boundaries. My approach is collaborative and individualized, blending practical tools with deeper insight work so treatment is both meaningful and actionable.
My goal is to help clients experience real-life change by improving emotional regulation, increasing self-confidence, having healthier relationships, and having a stronger ability to manage stress and triggers.

Keeping a warm and healing space, let us talk about all the things and nothings because I will listen. You are heard. You are not alone.
Everyone has a story, but not everyone has an audience.

Hi, I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in California for 20 years and I hold a doctorate degree in the Philosophy of Counseling. I am in my second marriage for 30 years now, after my 24-year first marriage failed. We have seven children between the two of us, 31 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Linehan Board-Certified DBT Specialist | Holistic Wellness Advocate
Clinical Expertise & Background
With 25 years of clinical experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s complexities with balance and resilience. I am a Linehan Board-Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist (DBT), a credential that reflects my deep commitment to providing the highest standard of evidence-based care.
My academic foundation began at St. Louis University (MO), where I earned both my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Social Work. This rigorous training, combined with decades of practice, allows me to offer a space that is as clinically sound as it is compassionate and nonjudgmental.
My Approach
I provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy for adolescents and adults (ages 16+). My style is warm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your unique journey. I specialize in integrating DBT strategies to help you overcome barriers and build a life that feels truly worth living.
A Holistic Perspective
I believe that mental health is inextricably linked to physical well-being. When I’m not in the clinician’s chair, I’m likely moving. I am certified in spinning/cycling and have a deep passion for power walking, latin dance, yoga, and Pilates. This personal commitment to the mind-body connection informs my therapeutic perspective—I understand the discipline and rhythm required to foster lasting change.
The "Co-Therapist"
Healing often comes in small, furry packages. I have a 6-year-old toy Yorkie who frequently joins me. While he isn’t a registered service dog, he is an expert in providing comfort and a calming presence. He is available to join our sessions upon request (and rest assured, he is excellent at maintaining client confidentiality).
Languages & Inclusion:
My native language is English and I am proficient in Farsi. I warmly welcome Farsi-speaking clients to my practice.
This is my first career and something I have always been pulled to; my journey is a thorough reflection of why I work in this field. My path to becoming a licensed therapist was very intuitive-based; I went through experiences of pain, guilt, shame, loss of self, and the loss of my overall sense of life. Through my journey, I was able to understand pain and trauma, taking on a lot of spiritual remedies while turning my pain into passion, my passion into purpose, and my purpose into power as a healer. Due to my licensure journey, I not only understand the educational part of pain, trauma, and healing, but I also experienced painful and challenging moments myself, bringing me to a higher purpose for self and meaning of life! I am highly intuitive, empathic, gentle, and calm, and I am a good listener and healer. I have worked in addiction, with children who have autism and intellectual disabilities, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life coaching, spirituality, and connecting to the higher self.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides thoughtful, insight-oriented therapy in a supportive and collaborative space. My work is grounded in psychodynamic principles, helping clients understand patterns rooted in past experiences that impact their present relationships, emotions, and sense of self. I tailor treatment to each individual, integrating depth-oriented work with practical tools to support meaningful and lasting change.
I am a client centered therapist/psychologist with 13+ years of experience working with couples and individuals age 18 and older. My schedule is generally Monday through Thursday from 9-5 PT and Friday from 9-3 PT. You can expect me to be empathic and understanding of your concerns, without judgment. I won't be telling you how to live your life or giving you advice you haven't asked for. If you want advice, please don't hesitate to ask. I will do my best. I work with you to help you gain insight into what is bothering you. Together we can help find new ways of understanding yourself (self-empathy) and discover/change how you are looking at the world around you. We can work to relieve symptoms of depression and anxiety. My goal is to eventually have you be able to better handle feelings and emotions and live a happier more fulfilled life without me being there to help. What are your goals? What would you like to work on with me?
Are you ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery, growth, and lasting change? I am here to support you every step of the way. With a unique blend of compassion and practicality, I create a safe and nurturing space for you to explore your inner world, set achievable goals, and harness your true potential. Hey there!
I’m really proud of you for being here. Choosing yourself isn’t always easy, especially when you’re used to pushing through, holding it together, and being the strong one—but it’s so worth it.
I’m Dana, a Licensed Clinical Therapist, full-time travel medical social worker, and the founder of Healing Convos. Outside of therapy, I’m navigating real life just like you, balancing work, family, responsibilities, and all the roles we’re expected to play. Being on the move as a travel medical social worker has shown me just how common burnout, emotional exhaustion, and feeling “stuck” really are, especially for people who are constantly pouring into others.
As a millennial therapist, I understand how exhausting it can feel trying to keep up with hustle culture, societal expectations, and the pressure to always be “on.” Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of who they are outside of their responsibilities. Whether it’s navigating toxic work environments, relationship or friendship breakups, family dynamics, or simply feeling lost in adulthood, you’re not alone.
I offer part-time therapy for individuals who are ready to slow down, check in with themselves, and build healthier ways to cope, heal, and move forward—without judgment and at your own pace. Therapy with me isn’t about perfection; it’s self-awareness and learning how to show up for yourself in a way that feels sustainable.
I created Healing Convos to give Millennials and Gen Zer's, especially men and women of color, a safe space to explore these challenges, find their voice, and reconnect with their values.
If you’re ready to stop chasing and start living a life that feels intentional, peaceful, and aligned with who you truly are, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Hello, I am Maria Morales, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, born and raised in San Fernando Valley. I received my Undergraduate Degree in Liberal Studies from Mount Saint Mary's University in 2010 and continued my education at the University of Southern California receiving my Master in Social Work and Public Health in 2015.
Establishing rapport is essential in psychotherapy as well as maintaining confidentiality. I often draws on my shared cultural experiences with clients, fostering an environment where openness and vulnerability are encouraged. I am mindful of the cultural nuances in communication styles that may affect trust and disclosure while we work together in therapy to understand the "why" we need therapy to change life patterns that just aren't working anymore.
Hi! My name is Maria. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California. Take a moment to acknowledge you've taken the first step towards bettering your mental health because, let's be honest - starting therapy can be empowering, confusing, or scary, all at the same time.
I have many years of experience working with children, youth and their families, who have experienced trauma. I will work with you and empower you to know that your voice is heard; you are seen; and that you matter.
Hello! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California with a background in Theatre Arts. I received my master's degree from California State University Dominquez Hills. I have been practicing for 7 years. I help adults struggling with career stress, life transitions, anxiety, as well as individuals who have experienced historical trauma and grief. Through the use of the therapeutic process, I assist with the processing of complex emotions.
As an American Family Therapist, I work from a systemic perspective, focusing on the entire family unit rather than just the individual. My goal is to help families uncover and understand deep-rooted patterns and issues that interfere with healthy communication and connection. Through this process, I support each member in developing more effective ways of relating, resolving conflict, and fostering emotional safety with the family system. I primarily use Dialectical Behavior Therapy and view my work through that lens. This means focusing on mindfulness, expanding tolerance for discomfort, increasing effectiveness in relationships and strengthening emotional regulation. When challenges arise in therapy, I often find that the root of the issue can be addressed through one of these core areas. For clients struggling with post-traumatic stress injuries-particularly common in military populations-I also incorporate Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help them reframe and work through trauma-related beliefs. My approach is structured, evidence-based, and tailored to the needs of each individual or family.
Congratulations! You have successfully made the first step in your healing journey. Finding the right therapist can feel daunting, but you didn't let that deter you. I would be honored to guide you through this process, as I am passionate about supporting people through life stressors. I believe it is important to provide a safe space for clients to process their thoughts and feelings. My journey to becoming a therapist is deeply rooted in my own life experiences and challenges. Facing my own hardships has given me a profound understanding of the power of empathy and the healing potential of therapeutic support. Through my growth, I discovered a passion for helping others navigate their unique struggles, providing them with the support and guidance they deserve.
Hello there! My name is Leanna Park. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families through their toughest times, can celebrate with you through the good times, and be there with you through everything else in between. I can't wait to watch you grow as you meet your personal needs! My approach is client-centered/person-centered. I will meet you where you're at, with unconditional positive regard, and empathy, and allow you to have a space to create the life you feel like you need and deserve. I work collaboratively with clients to strengthen problem-solving skills, build emotional awareness and regulation, and foster resilience. My goal is to support each person in gaining insight, developing practical tools, and moving toward meaningful and lasting personal growth.
