Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I have been providing psychotherapy services to youths and adults for the last 15 years. Through my educational and working experiences, I have been able to help people learn to manage and/or overcome: stress, anxiety, sadness, depression or losses due to any social, relational, interpersonal, familial, occupational or simply difficult life transitions. I utilize effective treatment methods, teach new coping skills, provide empathy, compassionate understanding and support during sessions with each individual clients, which in return has inspired them and improved their quality of life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

First, introduction, making you feel welcomed, getting to know you, establishing therapy goals, reviewing treatment modalities or style of treatment, your expectations of psychotherapy sessions based on your past experiences, or with no prior experiences, collecting feedback of your first session in the end and prepping you for your follow up session.

Creating a collaborative treatment goals with the client for measurable outcomes of success, establishing open and direct communication styles with clients, teaching clients new coping skills, making clients feel welcomed, empowered, understood and heard.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

To establish collaborative treatment goals and assess progress in treatment, to learn new coping skills and strategies to manage acute or chronic symptoms during and after the end of treatment.

Multicultural

Serving BIPOC communities by using inclusiveness, empathy, genuineness, support and level of understanding about cultural assimilation, process of acculturation, societal injustice and biases by and helping learn to manage symptoms and navigating stress associated.

Psychoeducation

Helping clients learn to understand their psychological symptoms and their effects with a goal to explore ways to manage and reduce the negative impact of those symptoms in their daily functioning.
