My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I have always used Solution Focused as my go to for therapy. It helps the client state what they want to work on and how we can work together to make the change they want. It is goal oriented and driven with a collaborative approach.

Gestalt

I was always driven to the "here and now" approach, which is based on the idea that the clients' interpersonal issues will eventually emerge in the therapeutic relationship. This helps focus on the clients' feelings and reactions as they happen in therapy.

Attachment-based

When working with clients who are currently struggling with relationship and communication issues, I have recently started using this method to go back to their childhood and learn about their early interactions between caregiver(s) and the development of healthy emotional relationships as an adult.
