New to Grow
I’m a licensed therapist with a focus on helping adults navigate stress, anxiety, and life transitions. I integrate evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT to help clients build practical skills for managing emotions, improving relationships, and creating meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and centered on helping clients gain clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of balance in their lives.
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your goals, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve, and together we’ll start identifying practical strategies and skills that can help. This session is a space for you to share your story, ask questions, and begin building a collaborative plan that fits your needs.
I bring experience providing therapy across nonprofit, county, college, and private practice settings, which has helped me work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. My approach is CBT- and DBT-focused, emphasizing practical skills that clients can use to manage emotions, navigate challenges, and create meaningful change. I take a strengths-based, solution-focused approach, helping clients recognize their existing resources while collaboratively developing strategies to reach their goals. Clients often leave feeling more resilient, empowered, and clear about the steps they can take in their daily lives.
I am best positioned to support adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and challenges with emotional regulation. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. I work well with individuals who are open to self-reflection and motivated to build practical skills they can use in their daily lives. My goal is to help clients develop clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of balance.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I have 2 years of experience using DBT with clients. I incorporate core DBT skills such as mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. I help clients become more aware of their thoughts and emotional patterns, while also equipping them with concrete tools to respond more effectively rather than react impulsively. Sessions often include skill-building, real-life application, and ongoing reflection to reinforce lasting change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have many years of experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I support clients in identifying and challenging unhelpful thinking patterns while developing more balanced, realistic perspectives. I also incorporate practical strategies like behavioral activation, goal-setting, and coping skills to support meaningful change in daily life. My approach is collaborative and goal-oriented, empowering clients to build insight, resilience, and healthier patterns over time.
