Be the change you want to see in yourself. The world is a garden, and I want to support your personal growth in the harder areas of your life. Therapy is more than just talking, it's a process based on human connection. I'd like the opportunity to be a part of your journey. We will confront barriers, share experiences, join in reflection, and remember the importance of joy.
The first session would be a conversation of client needs and answering questions. I would share about my background, my modalities, and experience working within the mental health field. We would figure out areas of growth and potential treatment options. There would not be any pressure to move forward with a second session. You, as the client, will have complete autonomy.
Humans are so wonderfully interesting and emotional beings. I enjoy reminding clients that their history, relationships, failures, and challenges are what make the human experience, worth living. I believe that each person truly makes a difference to those fortunate enough to be in their lives.
I have experience supporting a variety of clients and populations. I found my love for therapy through another career where I was supervising adults and juveniles. I feel comfortable navigating different systems such as education, justice, and child welfare. Currently, I provide services to teenagers and young adults up to 25. I am open to talking with anyone that feels my style of therapy would complement them.
I am certified in CBT and CBT for Psychosis. I support the relationship between one's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
I believe that everyone can grow and learn from their unique experiences.
I understand the importance of supporting someone in any stage of change they may be in, remaining curious about areas of ambivalence.
I support you in identifying how to utilize your own strengths to move forward in a positive manner.
